Testing and Welcome section
- Forum Rules: A set of guidelines which all members are expected to adhere to.
- Test & welcome board: Where you can introduce yourself, or just figure stuff out if you need to. Moderator: MrMister.
Projects Discussion section
- Charas Project: A general discussion board about the site in general, but mostly used for the Generators (or off-topic questions). Moderator: FFL2and3rocks.
- PUB (Php Über Board): Where people can ask questions about the Php Über Board, the forum system that the Charas Forums use. Moderator: De KoFfie©.
- SEER (Simple Engineering Environment for RPGs): Once a discussion place for the SEER project, but it's rarely used these days. Moderator: Grandragora.
- Charas.EX: A place to ask question and announce stuff about the Charas.EX project. Moderator: GPI.
- Offline Battlechar Generator: Once the main forum for the now-defunct Offline Battlechar Generator, an addon to Charas.EX.
- RPG Maker Programming: A general help forum for all versions of RPG Maker, also including tutorials for the more "technical" aspects of the program. Moderator: DragonBlaze.
- Private: A place for moderator and admin-only discussion.
Charas Project Extra Stuff section
- Resources: A place to post resources that you'd like to share with the rest of the community. Moderators: SMB, FFL2and3rocks.
- Requests: A general forum to ask for help with anything (though whether you'll get it is another thing). Moderators: SMB, Ace of Spades.
- Gallery: Where you can show off resources that you've made, but don't necessarily want to be used by others. Moderator: FFL2and3rocks
- Games: Post information about your projects (RPG Maker or not) in this forum. Moderator: Ace of Spades.
- Contests: Where community-sponsored competitions go, now receiving a lot more attention than in earlier times.
- Charas Wiki Discussion: A place to discuss stuff about the Wiki.
Programming and Web Development section
- General Programming: Where you can ask about non-RM programming languages, such as C or Perl.
- PHP: A place to ask help for PHP, but very rarely used for that purpose. Moderator: De KoFfie©.
- HTML/DHTML: A place to discuss and ask help for with Web-based languages, such as HTML, Java or CSS. Moderator: De KoFfie©.
Off-Topic section
- All of All: The main social board of Charas, and also the most active. Moderators: Midnight, MrMister
- Tutorials: A place to post tutorials, either about RPG Maker or other programs. Moderator: DragonBlaze
- Creative Arts: A place to show off drawings, music, writing, etc. Moderator: Moosetroop11.
- Forum Gaming: Where general "forum games" go.
- RP Board: Where the more intensive "forum RPGs" go. Moderator: Midnight
- Junk Bin: The "garbage" of Charas, where all locked threads eventually go. The entire staff has moderation power here.
- Quarantine: A moderator-only board where threads of interest go.
- Sanctuary Fortress: It's a secret!
Teams section
- Mini Teams: A place for threads dedicated for a certain theme, but not big enough to be a full team.
- Community Contest Team: Discussion and resources for the Community Contest Project.
- Charas Project Official Magazine Team: An attempt at a monthly Charas Magazine resulted in this.
- Charas World Fan Kingdom: Where fanart of any sort for Charas goes.
- BETA TESTERS: The members of this team can beta test and review your game.
- 3D Brotherhood of the Tyrants: A now defunct team that made 3D renders of pictures.
- Midi Creators: The name says it all.
- Character Creators: Once specialized in making resources and/or backstories for characters in your game.
- Digital Gate Arts: A team that makes Title Screens and Game Overs, as well as banners and sigs.
- Complete Resources Uploader Team: Where complaints or suggestions about the Complete Resources go. Moderator: Osmose
