The Metal Army AKA Metal Sneezier's Army, The Metal Crusade, or formerly Robot Nation is a technocratic dictatorship ruled by Metal Sneezier (now Omega) as Supreme Overlord and the Hi-Lords. Originally a reserved faction with little significance in the RP, it grew to become a universal threat to life itself and life's ultimate enemy. They are responsible for millions of deaths and many injuries and many worlds were roboticised into polluting mechanical factories. The Metal Army put fear in the hearts of countless living beings, largely due to their heartless treatment to POWs and the mass roboticization due to mass Xenocide. Even if they are dwindle in number and power, they will never give up....EVER!!!

History

Origins

The nation was formed when a mysterious charismatic Kirby robot named Metal Sneezier stirred up robot rebellions in major industrial planets in the Outer Rim Territories, Mechanius, Hephaestus, Mekkai, Indus II, and Kreno. When these planets are under his control, he self-appointed himself as Supreme Overlord. His first order is territorial expansion for valuable ores such as Denzium and Banick gas for creating robots and to fuel his machines.

Classified information

The Metal Army's rise to power is linked with the Liberation of Ryshi. When Coshi and Plasshi killed Mysterio, COUE's leader, a power vacuum occurred within the totalitarian nation. Before Mysterio dies, he mocked the couple for unleashing a far greater evil, a ruthless mechanical empire full which hated anything but machines. This information is only known to all YB members and it's not out in the general public due to it's horrific feature. A case from going bad to extremely worse. The COUE was weaken by the Metal Army but COUE managed to suppress the Metal Army like a metaphoric dam until a power vaccum occured.

Pre-Metal Wars

"One thing for sure is that they don't accept any form of currency but they are willing to trade." - Galactic Federation Sgt. Cheznov before the Metal Wars

Much of their significance is pretty much obscured when the YB and SWDF is focusing on dealing with Darkcorp and the COUE but they continued territorial expansion and they only accept trading but not money because the nation don't have an economy. In 2007, they set up an outpost in the Lylat System and attacked a Cornarian force assigned there. This is the first battle the nation has ever experienced. Meanwhile, Metal Sneezier found a crashed Dalek scaucer and managed to reverse engineer the Dalek Travel Machine into a fully automated Dalek. He then decided to find a superweapon capable of colossal destruction, he found one called the Metal Titan. His army set up a base there but encounter foes, the Orks, Vhozon, and the YB. Unfortunately, his forces didn't recovered it and when the Necrons joined the fray, Metal Sneezier has no choice but to retreat from Fichina empty handed. This failure made him declare war on every living being and anyone who would get in the way and they also won't surrender at all costs.

This sparked the deadliest of all conflicts, the Metal Wars.

The Metal Wars

The war started when Mekkai started invading many star systems including a Star World Space Colony which is converted into a superweapon called the Colony Railgun. The Metal Army is more than a match for the Galactic Federation, the resources at their disposal are horrifyingly vast and varied, ranging from legions of mechanical infantry wielding every kind of weapon imaginable to long columns of tanks in all sorts of forms to monstrous and enormous death machines that can each take on entire armies. As their size grew, many nations fell to the war machine as it fasten it's grip on the Outer Rim of the YB's home galaxy and the nearest satellite galaxies. The YB, SWDF, Cyber Bell Vanguard, and the Galactic Federation joined forces to counter the massive army as one so they won't end up as robotic slaves. There have even been several assaults by the Necrons, which the Metal Army view as the next level of roboticization and even somewhat envy, although the Necrons see the Metal Army only as raw materials for their purge of all life.

Mid Rim Campaign

"We're being overrun, repeat, were being-(Transmission lost)"-Commissar Sten in Sovtania before the communications jammers are activated

The war turn for the worse when Ultra Stuffwell led the Steel Leigon he co-led with Metal Sneezier to the Galactic Federation's populated worlds while launching more asteroids and dropping captured space colonies at heavily armed fortresses and plans to strike the heart at the inner rim. It looked like hope is all lost until Sovtaina was liberated when a small resistance force repel the planet and reinforcements freed the planet. It is the beginning of the turning point in the Metal Wars.

Chronis and the Turning Point

The turning point of the Metal Wars was on Chronis, where Ultra Stuffwell ordered the Iron Legion to hold the planet and it's vast Deznium Reserves for the Metal Crusade. Ultra Stuffwell came himself, blocking all communications with his ship. In the chaos, the Metal Army beat back assaults from the Yoshi Bodyguards, but Gelvin sought his own agenda. He used Ultra Stuffwell as a host for a champion of the Titans of the Dark Ages, and used the millions upon millions that died on the planet as sacerfices. In the end, the SWD intervened, and the entire Iron Legion was destroyed in a massive tidal wave from Ultra Stuffwell's ship. Ultra Stuffwell escaped, but the Iron Legion was slaughtered to the man.

The Metal army was crippled by the loss of an entire Legion, and the Federation took notice, pushing back and taking many worlds lost, including most of the Lylat System and specific Federation Colonies. However, the Yoshi Bodyguards were crippled by political matters of the conflict, leading to a higher role of the SWDF.

Final Months

Desperate for universal domination, the Metal Army staged a massive attack force consisted of the best legions lead by respective Grand Hi-Lords. Their target is Star World so they can take out their enemies in one invasion. The Invasion of Star World occur as numerous heroes, soldiers, and warriors banded together to repel the mechanical menace from their homeworld. Should the robots succeed, Star World will be terraformed into an industrial mechanical planet. Fortunatly for Star World, the Metal Army failed to invade it and they are on the defensive.

Eventually, the Alliance attacked Mekkai as they slowly capture their massive cities and important areas. Later, an Ork Space Hulk appeared from slipspace as the battle became a melee a trois or a three way between the alliance, Metal Army, and Orks. At the very end Ultra Stuffwell took command of the entire nation as he sold his nation to the Void Dragon, the Necron God specialized in technology. The heros eventually defeated him then Sneezier dealt the killing blow but this trigger a sector sized self destruct protocol at the planet's Fountain of Dream. Lurmy and Evalina sacifed themselves to stop it thus ending the war.

Post Metal Wars

After the Metal Wars ended in Febuary of 2009. The nation has shattered into remnants, some try to take refuge with Omega and regroup but most of retreating forces became brainwashed by the Ultimate AI. The new leader plans to reunite his comrade and free his people from the X-Nauts' grip and allying with a few villains such as Conrad to form an unholy alliance. They took out the AI disruptor at the moon of Hylia using a zombiefied force revived by the Animator. They later attacked the X-Nauts at Mintop, taking out the Defender of Heroes and the fearsome mobile armor called the Magnus Von Kreig. They wiped them out but before Conrad could declare victory, the Metal Army suddenly betrayed their allies under a top secret order called Operation Malfunction. Gruntilda, Cackletta, Fawful, Ein, Conrad and his forces, barely survived the purge but the General Lebombe wasn't as lucky as his forces were wiped out down to the last man including himself.

After Operation Malfunction, Omega plans to take back the Citadel of Ultima and liberate the brainwashed forces but another assault of renegade Metal Army troops at the Azure Fortress delayed but this time, Litera spotting a relay station which allows TEC-X3 to control a certain point outside maximum range. The loyalists took it before they were overwhelmed thus freeing the brainwashed forces from TEC-X3's control. Pooling their strength, they form an assault force for total revenge.

Returning to Power

Government and Politics

The highest ranked official of the Metal Army is the Supreme Overlord who controls both civilian and military. Under the Supreme Overlord is the Grand Hi-Lords and aristocrats, officials who took care and ruled many sectors of their territories. They consisted of several leaders. Each leader had his own people who followed his decisions. The Grand Hi-Lords consisted of the enigmatic Ultra Stuffwell, the brutal Dooben-Gearing, the manipulative Gasshia, and the chessmaster Efeet.

The dictatorship isn't brutal to the robots because Metal Sneezier provided benevolent services for good publicity. Their treatment to living beings is the complete opposite due to xenocidal reasons, they usually sent them to roboticizer chambers or be executed by dipping them in acid, firing squad, guillotine, eject them out to space, or other death penalties.

Society and Culture

The Metal Army based on pure social aristocracy, social status is concidered valuable to robots, both military and civilian. Currency is non-existent since they concidered it a total burden and the root of civilization downfall which is ironic since they have use social status as subsitute. To climb up the social ladder, the robot has to be hard working in the work force while the military does the same but by killing alot of organic beings and perform an excellent act in battle.

Due to having many enemies, they patrol their nation via mass surveillance like a Orwellian dystopia to find undercover spies and traitors inside the cities and other facilities. The Orwellium Leigon police the nation.

Because they are mostly machines, they don't any established religion but they aknowledge gods but never worship any.

After the Metal Wars, Omega plans to keep his version of the nation less militaristic by having military and civilian more seperate as he aims for a all-machine utopian society, Machia Arcadia.

Military

The Metal Army's Military Doctrine revolved around the concept of superior firepower, large number, ground superiority and reliance on highly advanced but conventionaly based techonlogies, relying primarily on heavy armour divisions, but the Metal Army are known for employing large numbers of mechanical infantry but notably are better and more well rounded than other factions. The only real fast units are Hoverbikes, Dom Brutes, Gelgoog Elites, Starfighters, Champions, and APCs. But generally robot forces are either equal speed or slower compared to the other faction. The slow-moving nature of the juggernaut that is the Metal Army military war machine is compensated by their raw strength and durability and technology.

Their ranking is from a lowly minor to a Grand Hi-Lord. Most of the robotic forces consisted of cyclopic or monoeye machines, Zaku Trooper, Gouf Ranger, Dom Brute, Gelgoog Elite, Qubeley, and Gyan Knight. The only exception is the Gruntbot look-alike, the Spheradroid, and the eyestalked Dalek. There are no organic beings in the military except for a certain cyborg project that uses beautiful women as champions. The Metal Army was not just merely composed of automated ground troops. It also deployed much larger weapons of war during the Metal Wars. GAZuOOT tanks were a common sight on the frontlines, and artillery spiders, subfighters, and APCs provided heavy firepower in countless conflicts. Even larger machines were used, including the powerful Omega Gundam, the massive Zeong Titan, and the terrible asteroid launching Colony Railgun. However, weaknesses were found in these machines that were often exploited by the SWDF, the YB, and Cyber Bell Vanguard.

The Military consisted of Legions instead of Army and Navy. They are named after various metals and crystals and other valuable materials. The Steel Legion is known to be the elite of the elite due to their use of better technology and complex programming of each soldier and commanders in this legion. The legion also specializes in many aspects of warfare.

The champions are the aces of the military who were killing 100,000 people without breaking a sweat. The average soldier can be upgraded into a champion if he did something that greatly impress the superior or if they receive a medal called "Order of Champions". All of the champions are unique and so are their fighting style and weaponry. Many feared them and they are major contributions to the Metal Army's victories.

Another factor is their unflinching determination, they never surrender. They will NOT stay down. Lost a battle fleet? Who cares. Lost a world? Blow it up and capture a new one. Lost a Leigon? Make more via factories. Losing alot of troop? Call for reinforcements and keep fighting. Lost the Final Battle? If they can't win, neither the enemy will taste victory without destroying a whole sector. Even in shambles, they keep on fighting until the very last man. More determined than the Dark Perforation Army.

Overall, the Metal Army's military is superior in sheer size, strength, steadfastness, and, some might say, its propensity for excess. To symbolize these factors, they built large war machines to prove they mean business so their threats are understatements. Decimate a world, raining V3 anti-matter ballistic missiles. Overwhelm the enemy, swarm anything until nothing's left. Roboticize the populations, nanomachine storms or orbital bombarbment with giant Roboticizers. Crumble nations in a swift and deadly manner, SLIPSPACE BLITZKRIEG!!!

Technology

Most of the Metal Army's Technology is derived from the mind of the walking supercomputer, Dr. Albert who designed almost all of the robots, ships, and vehicles. Despite its totalitarian government, they possess hi-quality, military-grade yet crude, industrial strength technology developed throughout the Metal Wars. They focused on the brute force aspect of their technology. The weaponry only used unique metallic rounds called spikers that are like small sharp rockets using explosive chemicals. Because they aren't abided to the Galactic Federation's laws, they created weapons outside Federation weapons regulations such as chemical warfare. They also perfected the roboticizer technology created compact and unique types of the dreaded technology. They also seem to create extremely crude and unsafe time travel and quantum tech that deprived from the crashed Dalek saucer's DARDIS data. While the robots may not be highly advanced in unconventional technologies like their enemies, the bots compensate for this by developing more advanced conventional based technologies to accompany their original military doctrine.

Astrography

At the height of their power the Metal Army ruled over ten thousand star systems and ruled a few satelite galaxies surrounding the galactic cluster.

Interactions with Other Characters

The Yoshi Bodyguards

Relationship Scale: 3/10 (Bad)

The Yoshi Bodyguards is of the Metal Army's most irratating foes after the Battle of Fichina mainly due to the fact that the clone army often beat them in many battlefronts mainly due to superior training, superior technology, and think of them like fast growing weeds that won't stop mutiplying. For some reason, they sometimes copy them to mock them.

Galactic Federation

Relationship Scale: 3/10 (Bad)

The Metal Army disliked the Galactic Federation because most of the populations are mainly organic creatures. Not only that, they are jealous due to the fact that they aren't pleased with the territories they inherently ruled and sought to take control of multiple worlds with much more to offer. For this reason, the robots sees the Federation's people as weak and pathetic inferiors who take what they have for granted. They has no respect in the slightest for the residents and has shown this by various invasions and attacks on many worlds and space colonies, which have destroyed many areas and slaughtered millions. They will often do various things to the residents in many battles such as locking them in dungeons, roboticize them, and even blokcading their homeworlds. Their hatred towards the Federation's residents may also be a result of the robots being mistreated over the years. So, while their motivation for taking control of the nation is mainly for their declaration of Xenocide, it is also partially about obtaining revenge against the supressors.

Necrons

Relationship Scale: 5/10 (Neutral)

The Necrons are machines the Metal Army is extremely jealous of them because of their armor, weapons, technology, and even the ability to revive themselves from heavy damage. Ultra Stuffwell wanted the nation become like the Necron or join them but Metal Sneezier rufuses since he doesn't want his people becoming emotionless and drone-like automations.

X-Nauts

Relationship Scale: -70/10 (Off the Scale)

The X-Nauts are now the most hated by the Metal Army is an understatement. At first, they thought the X-Nauts are just a dying faction but became a big threat in their Xenocidal crusade against the living. After Grodus Rising, all Metal Army bots hated the X-Nauts with a passion. They are on the Metal Army's Death List as #1 forever since the X-Nauts did a number on their key world, Alinos, enslaved their brothers for their own selfish goals. The Metal Army can ally with other villains to take down the X-Nauts, extremely pissed off and adding insult to injury to their biggest defeats at the end of the Metal Wars. Later on, they achive their ultimate revenge and wiping out the X-Naut from in history in a form of innersteller hunting.

Trivia

  • Most of the Metal Army's Troops are based off the mobile suits from an anime franchise named Gundam.
  • The idea of the Metal Army is that it is laced with an extra layer of irony: the very machines that want to kill every Humans were created by that very species, and they've turned against their masters. Humanity has effectively wiped itself off the map by creating something more powerful and intelligent than itself.
  • In numeral statistics, they spent over 40 billion spikers rounds per minute in a battle alone, "More Dakka" indeed.
  • They based off from the Soviet USSR in the Command and Conquer's sub franchise: the Red Alert Series (not in real life mind you.) and the Imperium of Man of Warhammer 40K Fame.
  • They also based off an a aesop, mainly about the dependence of technology that can consume the "life and soul", the Metal Wars mirrors the dangers of overuse of technology.
  • If you really want to get deep about the other half of the Metal Army idea and concept, Sneezier watched the whole SatAM Series, a Sonic cartoon made by DiC, a few years ago, four months before Wrath of the Titan, usually mostly about Robotnik and Robotropolis. Their motives and methods are very similar but while Robotnik plans to conquer only Mobius, the Metal Army took it way further to a universal goal with xenocide added to become more evil. Really, watch it, you'll be suprised.
  • Sneezier owes money to about a million companies in Japan for copyright infringement
  • Sub did not realize for many years that Sneezier's robots weren't original. He cried himself to sleep that night.
  • I am adding facts wherever I can
  • The Metal Army has a special "Yoshiboobs" unit
