Notable Gyans | |
The Gyan Knights are robots specialized in close range combat, thus they are fast. Despite its high performance as a close combat unit, the Metal Army military favored the more well-rounded Gelgoog Elites - particularly since the Gelgoog incorporated the long-range firepower the Gyan lacked. Therefore, they only served to be guards at Mekkai as Machine Knights, security, or specialists for various leigons.

Characteristics
Using verious types of melee weapons, they are used for mostly base defense since they often have a better advantage in interior combat. Although they usually use melee weapons, they can resort to advanced fistcuffs and martial arts, thus making them dangerous.
They are one of the well known robots to have the infamous mono-eye from the Murmmington Industries robot line. The Mono-eye system was first introduced by Dr. Albert used on working machines as the main opic sensor. The system consist of a main optical sensor (main camera) mounted on a rail system so that the sensor could freely slide on the rail to increase the sensing angle so the robot could look around without turning the head. It can incorporate various visors such as the combat visor. In order to capture the distance of the objects, two pictures taken by the Mono-eye have to be processed and compared.
Weapons and Items
Missle Sheild
The physical sheilds are for the Gyans. The main advantage it has is that it can't be depleted like an energy sheild. The built in missle launcher makes it an effective anti-air and anti-armor weapon making them more effective as secondary roles. Unfortunalty for the Gyan, it can't protect the whole body and it can be knocked out the robot's hand, making the holder very vurnerable to attacks. When not in use, it is stored on the back.
Beam Naginata (AKA Double-edged beam sword)
The Beam naginata is the Metal Army's answer to the beam swords commonly used by their enemies such as Mack's lightsaber and the Star Beam Sword. Although the design look ceremonial, this energy bladed weapon is more dangerous than its ceremonial nature implies. The sword's blade is shaped and held into a curve form by a small magnetic-field generator built into the handle of the weapon. The reason the blade has two points is caused by the magnetic properties of the weapon, two poles needing two points. The Gelgoog originally weild these weapons but Gyan later adapted them. The Gyan Knights use this as their main melee weapon and is their weapon of choice. The weapon could be used in may lethal ways. The first way is lunging, which occurs when the user lunges forward at the foe. However, this only works when the Gelgoog's aiming reticule is lit red, indicating that the opposing player is within range. The blade itself can even cut through Necron Metal and it easily slice through organic flesh and metal swords which doesn't have anti-beam coating on the blade. It can be used to deflect enemy lasers just by spinning it in front of the user. Not only that, the sword can be throw like a boomerang.
Blaze Flyer Pack
The Blaze Flyer Pack is for the flying variants of the Gyans called Flyer Gyans. Not only it allows the robot to fly, it has built-in missle launchers used to take out targets via multi lock-ons. Some champions tend to use them frequently for it's flight capabilties. Most Gyans used to fly into enemy ships and board them.
Drill Lance
The Drill Lance are special charging weapons used by Dom Brutes. The Gelgoogs and Gyans later used them in the mid-point of the wars and so on. When in use, it's very deadly if used for charging that it skewer through most skin armor that not even rocky creatues can survive it. Most of the Machine Knight Gyans use them.
Sonicblade Shotels
One of many weapons in the Metal Army's Sonicbade series, the shotels are used by Desert Gelgoogs and Desert Gyans in many arid and hot worlds. They worked as both an excellent pair of melee weapons and as throwing weapons. The weilders usually wield a pair of Shotels during close range combat. To match with shotels, the Gelgoogs and Gyans wear desert nomad anti-beam clothing as disguises.
Spiker Gernade
The Spikeer Grenade is most notable for its adhesive properties, similar to the Gouf's Magnet Grenade, but with a different trajectory. This weapon uses its claws to stick to the target and once attached, it will detonate, spreading lethal projectiles all over the place. The Spiker Grenade's initial explosion is the least powerful of all the grenades in the Metal Army's arsenal, although the explosion is not meant to be lethal. The explosion is meant to scatter the spikes at deadly velocity, impaling enemies within range. It's most notable appearance resembles a industrially futuristic Stielhandgranate (AKA Stick Gernade) with claws all over it. Some variant includes napalm, acid, knife, and even roboticzer nanomachines. It is know to cause alot of wounds and scars to foes.

Trivia
- The Gyans is heavily inspired by their mobile suit counterparts in the Gundam Franchise, even the model number is simular. What makes them not official chacters in the YB universe is that they are human-sized and fully automated machines.
- Their social status is simular to the Elites in Halo.
- At 8'5", weighing in at 251 pounds, this robot is underweight.
- It also tried to get help for its drug abuse, but nobody wanted to help it because it was a product of Sneezier's (lack of) imagination.
- It also is quite unreasonable in every way possible.
- Sneezier thought "simular" was a word.
