Oshy Gisho

Oshy Gisho is a Yoshi from Star World, on the island Gisho Island. He is known to be a bookworm and is the most serious permanent member of Team TOT. Out of the three main characters of Topmonhit, Oshy is neither the mainest nor the first. Although he often appears in stories by Topmonhit, he rarely appears as a guest star in other things. Oshy is smart and fairly serious, and is often the one to do research on a particular subject. He was originally from an RP known as Adopt-a-Yoshi. He is best friends with Top and Topper, and carries around a suitcase designed to look like an egg named Egghold.
Top Story Bio
An intelligent Yoshi (one of the most intelligent characters I have). He lived on an island a long time ago but the island was destroyed by a meteor (ok, the island wasn't, but the civilization on there was.). Only he, his 4 brothers, the princess of the island, Apricot, and a professor on the island, Professor Oh Gee, were sent off the island. The island was destroyed about 13 years ago, when Oshy was only 2. Oshy eventually joined with the Yoshi bodyguards. Not long ago it was found out that Morton Koopa Sr. was the destroyer of Oshy's home island, and Oshy had defeated him with help from his brothers. Later it was revealed he had survived and took over Star World in the future. The YB went to the future and found this out, then returned to the past to defeat him once and for all. Then later Oshy found out about Oh Gee and Apricot and went to the past to stop some Shoshis from taking over Gisho Island. After finally getting to know Apricot, he fell in love with her. Oshy has 4 special eggs: Fire, Grenade, Ice, and Clockwork. He's also gained Turbo Trainers and Springy Step Shoes. For Christmas 2006 he got Yoshi Transformation bubbles. He often is able to look up information that can help out the others.
History
Gisho Island
Oshy was born on a little-known island known as Gisho Island. The island is far out away from any other landmass, as it was separated from Yoshi's Island long ago. Oshy's father was Duller, although any information on his mother is unknown. He was the second child, the first being his older brother, Yisho. Later he had 3 more brothers: Sonic the Yoshi, Shadow the Yoshi, and Jalapeno. There was also another baby Yoshi, the princess of the island named Apricot, who Oshy's father looked after. Also on the island was a mean Rex Prince named Rexor.
One day, an eccentric professor of the island who called himself Professor Oh Gee came to warn everyone of a meteor heading for the island. When shown a telescope, the Yoshis saw the meteor and panicked. Duller and Oh Gee calmed them all down and they began work on boats to escape. However, they only had enough time for two small boats, and so one boat had Oshy and his brothers put on, and the other one Oh Gee and Apricot went on. They were just able to escape before the island was hit, supposedly killing all on the island.
The Mushroom Kingdom
The 6 Yoshi infants and 1 old professor drifted on the sea, heading towards where they believed existed another island of Yoshis. Unfortunately, a great storm arose one night, and the boats were separated. Oshy and his brothers eventually found land, but instead of an island, it was The Mushroom Kingdom. They had drifted to the docks of Toad Town, and there a young Toad by the name of Moll E. found them and adopted them, raising them as... well, Yoshis. They were Yoshis, after all. As time passed, Oshy and his brothers forgot all about Gisho Island...
One day, a random portal sucked Oshy in, dropping him at Hachacha, where he met Top and Topper. Nothing important happened (seriously) until his brother, Yisho, who had been experimenting with magic, found him and brought him back. Not long after, when they were old enough, most of Oshy's brothers began to go off on their own. Eventually, only he and Yisho were left with Moll E. That would soon change, however, when Oshy learned of a group known as the Yoshi Bodyguards, and after a bit of research (and learning that Top was there), left to join them...
Early YB to the Dark Ages
It's not certain when exactly Oshy joined the Yoshi Bodyguards. This likely means he did not do anything important at first. However, sometime before the Dark Ages, Oshy began to have nightmares. After calling his brothers, he learned that they, too, were having similar nightmares. They went to meet each other and then, based on the dreams they had been having, figured out the location of Gisho Island. There, they met their father, Duller, who had somehow survived, and they learned all about their past.
When the Dark Ages hit, Oshy was brooding on what he had learned. Due to this, he was temporarily stranded until he ran into Top. Together, they headed to Rareworld, where they waited out the Dark Ages until returning to watch them end. During that time, Oshy returned to Gisho Island to find that it had somehow been untouched by the planet's destruction. Soon after, he regrouped with the other YBs and the planet was restored, although he had little to do with it.
Morton Koopa Sr.
Once things had calmed down from the Dark Ages, Oshy was going to reveal to everyone what he had learned when meteors appeared in the sky heading for the YB HQ. Three others were found, heading for Toad Town, Yo'ster Isle, and Glitzville. These were where Oshy's brothers were. Thus, Oshy met with his four brothers and the meteors were all destroyed. Then they went on to find the source of the meteors: A space station orbiting Star World which held a large Koopa who called himself Morton Koopa Sr.: Bowser's father.
Morton Koopa Sr. was the one who had sent a meteor down to Gisho Island long ago. Exactly why is unknown, although it's assumed that it was simply due to the fact he disliked Yoshis. At any rate, he was with the very thing he used to attack Gisho Island: A meteor being held inside the space station. The station was destroyed, and Morton was sent out into the vacuum of space. They returned to Gisho Island, only to find Duller was sick and dying (which is really just an excuse not to use the bad plot the story originally had). Oshy and his brothers decided to spend some time together for a while after that as a family.
However, he would not stay away from long, as a few months later he rejoined the YB when a group of Shadow Creatures from the Shadow Dimension attacked Star World, trying to take it over. The YB was able to defeat the Shadow King, and a new member joined the YB: A Sneasel named Sneen. Generally Oshy would then go off with the YB on core missions, although nothin truly noteworth occured with him.
Morton Koopa Sr. 2
Then a couple months later, strange dark mist began to appear, possessing several creatures. In the end, this revealed to be Morton Koopa Sr.'s doing, who had apparently survived being hit with a meteor and sent into space. He attacked the YB, but someone named Meta Top appeared to help battle him. During the fight, they were sent to the future, where they learned Morton had taken over Star World. Oshy and his brothers were able to escape the planet, although a group of fighters stayed to resist Morton. In the end, they were able to travel back in time where they then found the present-day Morton and destroyed him once and for all, learning in the process he was actually the undead, but once they destroyed his spirit, he was no more.
More Time Travelling
Half a year passed, and nothing interesting happened with Oshy... until he and his brothers were having a family reuinion. At that very time, a professor named Oh Gee was at Toad Town at a news conference. One thing caught Oshy's attention: The use of the name "Gisho". Oshy and his brothers then learned that Oh Gee was from Gisho Island, and that there was also a princess from the island named Apricot. She had gone back in time in a time machine/coffee maker Oh Gee had, but things went awry when a Shroob-like Yoshi came out of the time machine once it returned. Going back in time, Oshy and Yisho learned that Shroob-like Yoshis called the Shoshis were invading Gisho Island in the past.
Unfortunately, they were attacked by the Shoshis and defeated. When they came to, they were on a cruiser ship flying somewhere. Oshy and Yisho saw a young Duller and 6 baby Yoshis that looked like Yisho, Oshy, Sonic, Shadow, Jalapeno, and one was a pink Yoshi. There was also a baby Rex who called himself Prince Rexor. The ship was attacked by the Shroobs and they crashed into a castle; after regrouping with Duller and the baby Yoshis, they headed back to the present with a strange shard they found.
In the present, the Shoshi that had attacked them reacted strangely to the shard, so they decided to return to the past and find more of them. The shard apparently had been used to power the time machine. In the past, they collected another shard, but soon after Baby Rexor appeared and stole it. They chased him down and got their shards back. They then headed to the Rexeum, where they first saw Apricot... being eaten by a Chocolate Pudding Monster! They went down into the caves below, defeated the monster (getting a 3rd shard in the process), and rescued Apricot. Except she had an egg over her head.
Unfortunately, she was kidnapped soon after by the present-day Rexor, who referred to himself as King Rexor, saying that he had been trying to find the Yoshis from Gisho Island all this time. Unfortunately, he fell into a time hole and ended up in the past. Oshy and Yisho followed, chasing him down Whomp Volcano, where they learned the past and present Rexors had teamed up. They were able to defeat them, but instead of saving Apricot, the Shoshis kidnapped her once more! They were unable to give chase until Top randomly appeared in his Star Ship, giving them a ride to the Shoshi Mothership.
The group eventually learned the Apricot they had "saved" was in fact Princess Shoshi in disguise the whole time. They were then ejected out of the ship and fell to a devestated Gisho Town. After returning to the future, they went back to the past and went through the Star Cavern, finding two more shards there. With 5 shards, they were able to enter Gisho Castle, now Shoshi Castle. Inside, they defeated the evil Princess Shroob and rescued Apricot. Then, Apricot revealed to have the 6th shard. It was reformed together, but then suddenly it let loose the Elder Princess Shoshi. A fierce battle occured, in which the Elder Princess Shoshi was turned into a simple egg.
It was then learned that the Shoshis could be destroyed by baby vomit, and so they used a enormous amount of baby vomit to eradicate the Shoshis once and for all. However, Rexor, who was unconscious at the time, was lying around Toad Town. Suddenly the Princess Shoshi Egg floated up and into Rexor's mouth, taking control of him. The now-Zombified Rexor kidnapped Apricot; Oshy and Yisho chased after him, defeating him and releasing him from the Elder Princess Shoshi's control. Suddenly a massive Shoshi ship appeared in the sky, having been contacted years ago; this ship was destroyed by various YB ships, however, and it was revealed that the King of the Shoshis was nothing more than a Shroomba. It was promptly stomped on, ending the danger of the Shoshis.
Oshy would continue to be a member of the YB and a help in many adventures until nearly one year later, in which he left the YB with Top and Topper.
After the YB
Once Oshy, Top and Topper left the YB, they went to live at Top's house; soon after they left, however, trouble arose when the Star Rod and Master Emerald were stolen. It originally appeared to be only Cackletta, Fawful and Grunty, but soon it was found many more villains were involved, including Rexor. They had to escape the planet, as the villains had a machine that could control peoples' dreams. They escaped along with Apricot and Oh Gee; later, they returned, but Oshy stayed out of range of the machine while others went down to stop the villains.
The following Spring, Oshy, Top and Topper went on a cruise. It was interrupted by Bloo and Mogmire, who were using whirlpools to sink ships. Some of their friends had to come and rescue them... except they were sank too, so in reality a giant blob of water saved them. They then had to battle it, and in the end they got a blue orb which Oshy wanted to do some research on. However, he wouldn't get the chance, as the next day Yoshi was kidnapped by Rexor, who demanded they bring him Apricot. Instead, Rexor was blasted away by a giant, flaming eagle, which, when defeated, relinquished a red orb.
Soon after, they headed to Lavalava Island, where the Fearsome Five had disappeared. After chasing them, they were kidnapped by a massive plant creature that they battled, eventually getting a green orb from it. Later, on Mt. Rugged, they encountered some evil Anti-forms of Top, Oshy and Topper. Although Oshy had difficulty fighting the sheer brute force of Anti-Oshy, when they switched, he did much better against the dullness of the Anti-Top. Unfortunately, in the end, they stole the brown orb and disappeared.
Oshy Becomes Mario
A few months later, Apricot was kidnapped. Oshy suspected Rexor, but with help from Professor Oh Gee, who also gave Oshy Egghold, they soon learned that it was the X-Nauts who kidnapped Apricot; they were also after the Chaos Emeralds. Thus, the heroes went around Star World, collecting the Chaos Emeralds that had scattered during an earlier story. In the end, Apricot was saved and the Emeralds were scattered across various planets in the galaxy.
Not long after, Star World went into a strange winter during summer. The YB, along with Oshy, Top and Topper, had to travel to the Underwhere to find the source, where Oshy got to see his father once more. Later on, in the Overthere, Oshy had to fight Morton Sr. a 3rd time, although this time because they were all technically dead, he was easier than in the past. At the end, they ended up having to kill Sneen in order to save Star World.
A few months later, Apricot went into the firing line once more when Rexor kidnapped her. He demanded the orbs they had been collecting in return, so they went off to defeat the Anti-forms once and for all. They then defeated Rexor's top scientist, Dr. Tyrato, and saved Apricot. The orbs would continue to be key, however, when they were attacked by an armada of ships. They fell to the ocean below, only to meet some old friends of Top he met before he even met Topper: the Slubes, Numer, Professor Zeth, and Cherry. After a struggle with Conrad the Conqueror, the orbs were safe and the Slubes returned to their own planet with them.
Evil Factions
Oshy helped when Nocktor tried to destroy all worlds and time itself by absorbing Dialga and Palkia, travelling through time and space, chasing after the demon. In the end, Nocktor was completely destroyed. A couple months later, Top became the ruler of a kingdom on Shiver Star. He appointed Oshy and Sub his Secretaries of Strategy, but on the same day the kingdom was overrun and they had to escape with a diamond of immense power that the kingdom had been keeping safe. When they went to Mobius to help stop Metal Top from taking the Master Emerald, however, that diamond was stolen and Top's house destroyed. Luckily, Oshy was able to get them rooms at Gisho Castle. When the Metal Army invaded Star World, however, he had to help get Apricot, Oh Gee and Testube to safety.
Although it was meant to only be temporary, Topper convinced Oshy to have Team TOT remain at Gisho Castle. Soon after, they learned the Pokeworld was under attack by Metal Top and an army of Pokemon Robots. Thus, Team TOT hurried to the Pokeworld. Unfortunately, they were blasted in space by an enemy ship and crashed at Saffron City. When they regained consciousness, they found themselves in the basement of Silph Co. with a Lickitung named Slurp. They were able to escape, and once they made it to the top floor, found that Metal Top had been there, but he escaped to the roof. They headed up and encountered it, but Metal Top escaped.
They decided next to go to Sunyshore City, where one of the four battleships were located, and met Relvia and Iris there. They battled against a crazy Porygon-Z, who then retreated into the ship. When Team TOT entered, they got pushed into a portal-door leading into the ship's computers, where they fought the Porygon-Z a second time. This time, it was defeated, and they prepared to damage the ship when they found out doing that caused it to begin smashing around the city like a giant, metal Wobbuffet. Luckily, the gym leader, Volkner, shocked the ship, stopping it.
With Sunyshore City freed, Team TOT went to Cerulean Cave, where the final group of Pokemon robots had gathered. There, they met the other characters of the story, and battled against the super-Pokemon of the army, Metal Mewtwo. It had the diamond from before as its power source, but it was eventually defeated. This caused the diamond to go critical and begin to have so much energy it was going to destroy the planet, but Top managed to fling it away using his Star Ship's ability-function. Metal Top escaped to fight another day.
The Dark Perforation Invasion
About a month later, Shi'un came to live at Gisho Castle for lack of a proper home. She and Oshy seemed to get along okay. Less than a month later, however, The Dark Perforation Army attacked Star World, trapping it inside a strange shield that prevented anything from coming out or getting in. Top left for the Koopa Kingdom, where Metal Top was, while Topper went to the Mushroom Kingdom to help them. Oshy remained at Gisho Castle to fight any creatures that came there, along with Power Box, Sunset and Subsourian. When Sneezier failed to arrive, however, PB and Sub went to look for him.
Soon after the castle was attacked, but Oshy, Sunset and Testube fought against them, keeping them from getting into the castle. Sub and PB returned, while Sneezier fought against Hurtilu's battleship in the Ultima Gundam. Hurtilu retreated, and Dinosaur Island was safe. They regrouped at The Mushroom Kingdom, where Wario and Waluigi appeared and revealed Diamond City had been invaded, but the invaders had brought a portal to the space station controlling the shield around the planet. Thus, a group went to liberate the city, but Team TOT remained behind.
Team TOT would end up going out to Mount Mushmore, where they found the Anti-Team TOT, having been brought back by The Dark Perforation. They were defeated, though, and their plan to attack the Mushroom Kingdom with a laser was thwarted. The other team was able to destroy the shield around the planet, and the invaders retreated away. Everyone then gathered together to form a plan as to how they would realiate against The Dark Perforation. They would split into two teams; Oshy was a part of Crusade, the team to liberate any prisoners at the castle.
When the attack began, Top went ahead too soon with the ship having the Burning Ability and slammed into the front of the castle; this was able to damage a good number of ships still docked, however. When the others came down, they began to go through the castle, eventually reaching the back area. Oshy, Colin, Bread, I.M. Ugly and Amphy were in one group and found the prison, where they freed nearly all the prisoners of the castle. They then regrouped and went on for the final fight.
First, Minorbu, Orp and Hurtilu appeared; Sub fought Minorbu alone, so Oshy helped fight against Orp and Hurtilu. Once they were defeated, Metal Top appeared, and they all fought against it. It was defeated, deactivated and destroyed in the end, and then came The Dark Perforation itself. They began to fight, but learned physical moves had no affect. They were finally able to defeat it, however, when Shi'un used her Final Smash on it. This caused disaster, though, when The Dark Perforation appeared to form into a black hole and sucked Top up!
Metal Top suddenly began speaking, opening up a file that explained The Dark Perforation was actually a black hole that was controlled by a space virus. Everyone was eventually sucked in, but somehow appeared in an arena with the space virus in the middle. The virus said it lost control over the black hole, but if it absorbed their energy it could regain control. They refused, however, and fought.
The virus had a shield preventing their attacks from hurting it, but then Queen Snophia Icle and Stawl used some star power of their own to destroy the shield. Colin then used such a powerful musical attack that it nearly destroyed the virus and killed him, then Oshy, along with Topper, Snophia, Glerk and Metal Chaos, used a Team Attack that defeated the virus once and for all. They escaped the castle, which soon after faded away (along with the rest of what The Dark Perforation had created), and Oshy returned home to Apricot.
Seeing Stars
About a month later, a rocketship crashed into Gisho Castle, which was revealed to hold a shaman named Mershin and a baby star. Oshy, Team TOT, PB and Sunset learned from Merlon that they should go to Starborn Valley to find his son, Merle, and along the way they found Gluposs, who was kicked out of the Crystal Palace by Crystal King. Before they could go any further, Crystal King and his army attacked them, but were defeated with help from Frob and Bread.
At Starborn Valley, they learned that a great evil, Kastrodoms, the author of The Dark Prognosticus, was likely about to begin his revenge for being killed years ago when he tried to take over Star World. The star was to be usd to stop his revenge, and the shaman they needed was north at the star temple. There, they met Wiggly Jr. again, then met the shaman they were looking for, Merlia.
Merlia had a vision that they needed Luigi to use the star, so they set out for Toad Town when Bowser and Kamek appeared. They were after the star, but were defeated in battle. Suddenly Kammy appeared with the Dark Prognosticus, revealing Kastrodoms was her ancestor and now she had the power of the Dark Prognosticus. Team TOT, along with Gluposs and Merlia, escaped to find Luigi while the others stayed to fight Kammy.
Oshy and the others made it to the Mario Bros. House and told them what was going on, and they hurried to Shooting Star Summit via underground. They went to Star Haven, and watched as Kammy and her army of Darkost ghosts attacked the Mushroom Kingdom. The Star Spirits gave them a boost of power and they went to Peach's Castle to fight Kammy. Luigi fell down a trapdoor while Darkost appeared to attack them, but Gluposs poofed into a kart and Top became Light Freeze Top to freeze the Darkost.
Near the castle top, they freed some characters Kammy had kidnapped, and then fought against Kammy herself. There were too many Darkost to get a hit in on Kammy until Luigi showed up and with the power of the baby star was able to hit Kammy and defeat her. The Dark Prognosticus then projected a ghost hologram of Kastrodoms, who revealed he now had the power to begin his revenge. They had used the baby star's power already, but the Star Spirits used their power to prevent Kastrodoms from summoning any Darkost, and eventually they destroyed Kastrodom's energy ghost and the Dark Prognosticus disappeared.
Dark Top's New Plan
About a month and a half later, Team TOT and some others were called by Snophia to help her--her kingdom had been on hard times since the reconstruction, and she had decided to get help from the planet's ruler, Chills Pacone, in order to keep her kingdom intact. She needed their help in the discussion with Chills. When they arrived, however, things went sour when Chills thought Sneezier and Light Top were Dark Sneezier and Dark Top. Chills had his boys fire on them, but Power Box was able to cause a momentary ceasefire for them all to figure out what was going on.
They learned that Chills father had been killed by Dark Sneezier and Dark Top when they began Darkcorp, and Chills wanted revenge. Luckily, Topper managed to convince Chills that this was a good thing, as in the death of Chills' father led to Chills being ruler of Shiver Star. At that, Chills agreed with that logic, and an agreement was quickly made between Snophia and Chills. Their work done, Team TOT returned to Gisho Castle... only to find Dark Top there!
Light Top was ready to fight, but Dark Top explained he was there for diplomatic relations. Specifically, he was now in rule of a planet known as Popworld, and wanted an alliance between it and Star World. There was tension and uneasiness, but something was worked out. Dark Top did mention, however, the former ruler of the planet, Blork, often caused trouble, and asked Team TOT and the others with them if they could do something about it. They found Blork and fought against his loyalists, but ultimately Blork escaped.
A few weeks later, Dark Top asked for more help concerning Blork, and they went to fight him again. This time, they actually fought against Blork himself, but before they delivered the final blow Blork wanted to make a proposition, for the two to work together against Dark Top, asking them if they really trusted him. Just then, a missile came down and exploded, followed by a volly of bullets that ended in Blork being killed. Metal Top then came down with blue eyes, rebuilt from being defeated before. Light Top began to go crazy, especially when Metal Top stated Dark Top as its master, but then listed Light Top as an ally.
Before Metal Top could leave, though, Dimentio appeared out of nowhere. He scrambled Metal Top's circuits, and it attacked Team TOT and the others. Metal Top was defeated, but then woke up, apparently after a rebooting, and was back! It was about to attack them when it opened up a new file which sent a massive wave across the planet, disabling all machinery. Sub quickly teleported them back to their ships and they escaped the planet before their ships were disabled. Light Top returned to Gisho Castle, hoping Dark Top would now be unable to do anything.
About a week and a half later, however, the machinery on the planet was running again and Dark Top declared war on Star World. Although Team TOT did no fighting in the war, less than a week after it began Dark Top was assassinated. Light Top began to panic, expecting to die any second, but Oshy froze him with an ice egg so they could try to find a way to keep him alive later. After Dark Top was supposedly killed, the war ended, and Star World attempted to bring democracy to the planet. Unfortunately, after this democracy made Dimentio the ruler of the planet, Oshy and Topper were called to help stop him.
Once they managed to defeat Dimentio in battle, they learned that Bowser had attacked the Mushroom Kingdom. They all hurried there, only to be trapped in an energy shield. Dark Top revealed himself to have not been killed, and Dimentio also appeared, the three having been in on the whole plan together. Dark Top explained his long and convoluted plan, but then Light Top crashed in from out of nowhere onto Dark Top. Bowser and Dark Top fought against Light Top, nearly defeating him, when Kamek and Kammy rushed in, saying that they had been betrayed by Dimentio!
A compact magic shield surrounded Bowser and Light Top, and Dark Top revealed he was working with Dimentio and betrayed Bowser. Dark Top brought out a large mech of Metal Top and went to take over the Koopa Kingdom, leaving Dimentio to take care of the others. Dimentio revealed his plan to kill Light Top as well, though, thereby killing Dark Top too. He was about to do so using one of Star World's own nukes when he was hit with ice bullets and frozen. Chills Pacone came in, saying he heard about Dark Top being there. Light Top said that he had to be the one to defeat Dark Top, however, because he had the power of sacrifice. Light Top went to fight Dark Top alone, and later they got a call from Top--Light and Dark Top had merged once more, ending the evil plan.
Return to Gisho Island
In the couple of months prior, Oshy had began to set up plans to recolonize Gisho Island. Finally, in early October, Oh Gee and Testube left to do some research on the island, and one week later Oshy, Apricot, PB, Sunset and Sally prepared to leave. When Top and Topper wanted to go with, however, Oshy told them Apricot didn't want to go, and when Scorch came Oshy said he didt want any SWDF influence on this. With that, they left to Gisho Island. When they arrived at the former site of Gisho Town, Oh Gee said that Testube had disappeared soon after they arrived, and they went to go look for him on the island.
They first tried going to Egg Village, but instead of Testube they came across something much worse: Shroobs! The Shroobs that were there attacked them, but they fought back and made it into one of their buildings where they found an incubator. After destroying the incubator, they came out and saw more Shroobs, a large egg, and Dr. Tyrato! Tyrato yelled at them, but then told he Shroobs to retreat and had a few Dr. Shroobs attack them while the others escaped. Suspecting they may have Testube, Oshy and the others followed them to Deserted Plateau and the Rexeum.
In the Rexeum, they were trapped up on a stage and Tyrato had whatever was inside the large egg attack them: a Dino Shroob Piranha! They were able to defeat it, however, which enraged Tyrato, as it was supposed to be a pet for Rexor. A trapdoor activated that dropped the five of them into the caverns, and they were then trapped down there. They went down a tunnel, taking a southwest path, and eventually reached Gisho Town, where they found General Guy and a bunch of shy guys. They attacked and defeated them all, including General Guy, sending him flying away, but it was then they noticed Oh Gee was missing.
They began to look for him when Top, Topper, Scorch, Tron, Hey You and Testube showed up. Top, Topper and Scorch had secretly followed them, while Tron and Hey You just showed up ou of nowhere and Testube had been kidnapped by some of Bowser's followers. As it was now late, they decided to look for Oh Gee in the morning, but when morning came Apricot had disappeared! They found a message from Rexor stating he had kidnapped her and was at the lava pit, so they went there and found a new castle Rexor made.
Inside the castle, they were trapped in a room and attacked by Shrowser, a Bowser that was controlled by a Shroob helmet, but they managed to defeat him and move on to the next room, where Rexor was. After four different fights, one of which was against an undead Dry Rexor and another was against a giant living one, Rexor was finally defeated and Apricot was saved. They still needed to find Oh Gee, of course, but they then heard a voice call out to Oshy, telling him to come to Star Cavern. They did, and there they found Oh Gee. Oh Gee brought them to a purple yoshi, Lavinia, who was revealed to be Oshy's mother. She was merely a spirit, though, there to guard Gisho Island because of Rexor and Bowser's meddling. She did warn Team TOT of something, however: Something was coming, something large in number, and it would come before they knew it.
Topper's Story
A month later, Opt appeared, coming to Team TOT asking for help. Opt gave a sincere apology to Topper, stating that there was someone trying to take over the Pokeworld. Team TOT agreed to go with him there, along with some of their friends. When they arrived, they went into Rock Tunnel, with Opt splitting so they could surround the villain. It turned out not to be a villain, but a Pachirisu with an enormous head, and although she was trying to take over Pokeworld, she claimed it to be for good reasons.
Either way, Opt suddenly came back in with some headphones Medulla had created, stating that he had brought them there to distract Medulla while he stole the headphones, and he blasted out. It turned out the headphones were an invention of Medulla's used to control Pokemon, but it had never worked. Once again it didn't work, and Opt, enraged, attacked them, but ended up losing and escaping. Danny and Tron then recieved a message on their PSes from Relvia, who said Cindek was under attack by Regirock, Regice and Registeel. They left to go to Cindek, where they fought against Regirock, then Regice at another city, and finally Registeel at a third. However, that was it--it all appeared to be over.
They all left Pokeworld, but as they were leaving, Top's Star Ship suddenly malfunctioned and it fell back to the planet. It landed at a place called Machu Pichu, a civilization of Pichu. When the other ships landed, including Danny's, the Pichu went into a panicked. They ended up attacking Danny and tying him up. At the time, Hey You had set up a fruit stand there, and explained the Pichu hate Pikachu for some reason. They tried to sacrifice Danny to their Pichu god (a giant Pichu), but Danny escaped and battled against it, along with the others helping out.
They defeated the Pichu God, destroying Machu Pichu, and then Opt appeared to fight them. During the fight, a robot version of Topper, Metal Topper, appeared, but then Topper returned after disappearing to help fight. Angry, Opt began a one-on-one fight with Topper, during which everyone else was hit with sleep powder bombs and fell asleep. They all woke up in a cave with Metal Topper looking at them. Opt came in, but Metal Topper told him he was no longer needed and kicked him out.
Soon after, Opt returned with Topper to fight against Metal Top. During the battle, however, Opt revealed his true intention was to let Metal Topper weaken him so he could be defeated once and for all. Just before the final blow, an Arbok named Memery appeared, attacking Opt and Metal Topper. The two worked together, in addition to freeing everyone from the cages they were in (Oshy located more keys to open more cages), and Metal Topper was destroyed. Opt attempted to escape, but was grabbed by Memery and caught. With Opt caught, he was sent to an icy prison planet in the far reaches of the galaxy, and after everyone said their goodbyes, Topper took hours doing something else. When he was finally done, they finally left the planet.
A month later, Team TOT were outside Gisho Castle relaxing when Luigi showed up; Mario had gone on another adventure, and Luigi was lonely. Hearing Mario was on another adventure, Top refused to be left behind and the four of them dashed off to Nimbus Land. They made a crash landing, unfortunately, but when they got up they went inside the castle and encountered a cloudy character named Count Bleah, who had taken over Nimbus Land and locked everyone up. Team TOT and Count Bleah began fighting.
Meanwhile Luigi helped Mario out of jail, and the five of them were about to fight Bleah when Count Bleah formed two portals, out of which two magical humanoid creatures named Morphs came out and attacked them. Team TOT and the Mario Bros. each fought against a morph, and the two were eventually destroyed; enraged, Count Bleah attacked them, nearly destroying them, but then Sub appeared to fight Count Bleah. The next thing Oshy knew, he and Team TOT were back in Gisho Castle (what had really happened was The Cloud and Count Bleah fought, and in the end The Cloud wiped everyone's memories that had seen it).
Discrepancies
Adopt-a-Yoshi
Oshy's original concept came from this RP by DarkYoshi64. In this RP, you would adopt a Yoshi, once per day. Topmonhit's first Yoshi was a yellow one named Yisho; the next day, a white one named Oshy; the next 3 days had Sonic the Yoshi, Shadow the Yoshi, and Jalapeno, respectively. This is also the order in which Oshy and his brothers are aged--Yisho is the oldest, then Oshy, Sonic and Shadow are twins but Sonic is thought to have come first, and Jalapeno is the youngest. Oshy's personality also came from this--the white Yoshi was said to be smart in the RP. Thus, Oshy became smart and a bookworm. However, the Oshy in this RP has no connection with the canon Oshy.
The Yoshi Bodyguards
Most of Oshy's discrepancies in the YB come up around the Dark Ages time. Originally, when Oshy went to Gisho Island, he ate a magic fruit that turned him into what is known as a Giga Yoshi, which was a sort of phoenix-like Yoshi. In addition, after the Dark Ages, when he revealed his past about Gisho Island, the original plot involved the YB battling Dark Duller in Morton Sr.'s Space Station, and that eventually killed Duller when Dark Duller was sent out into space. However, Topmonhit gained an extreme dislike of that, and so a gaping plothole that you could drive a truck through began to form around Oshy's past. In order to fix it, Topmonhit claimed Duller had simply become old and died of becoming deathly ill (the other plothole was that Duller never mentioned Apricot or Oh Gee; Topmonhit got around this by saying Duller assumed that they knew the two, as he never knew the two boats became separated at sea).
Non-Canon Appearances
Tick Tack Emissary
In the Tick Tack Emissary, Oshy took the role of Captain Olimar, although he had no Pikmin. When he first appeared, he was attempting to destroy a giant ROB Outside the Modern Ruins. Before he was able to use a group of Clockwork Oshy Eggs, however, Werblebomb (Captain Falcon) appeared and destroyed it instead. After they defeated some enemies, they saw a purple transport with a trophy of Pichup (Donkey Kong). Soon after, Blizzard (Diddy Kong) appeared and untrophied Pichup. Oshy and Werblebomb came down, battled a group of enemies appeared. Once they were defeated, the transport continued into the island. Right at the end, Toon Super (Toon Link) appeared.
At the Tick Tack Bomb Plant, Oshy, Werblebomb, Pichup, Blizzard and Toon Super traveled through the factory, destroying enemies of all sorts from the Tick Tack Army. They eventually reached a dead end that Werblebomb smashed through, entering an area that had Chibi (Samus), Danny (Pikachu) and Hedge (Sonic). Also inside were a large number of ROBs and The Ancient Guy (The Ancient Minister). Suddenly Darkly (Ganondorf) came up as a hologram, telling the ROBs to activiate the Tick Tack Bombs. The Ancient Guy tried to stop them, but Darkly took ahold of the ROBs, causing them to attack The Ancient Guy. Darkly's hologram left, then suddenly The Ancient Guy revealed to be Topmonhit the Mii. All the Tick Tack Bombs had been activated, however, so they all began to escape to the Danny Cruiser. They reached it, but as they were escaping, Meta Dyna Blade appeared to attack the ship. After a fierce battle, they escaped the factory just as the bombs went off, engulfing the factory in... Tick Tack.
Once the Tick Tack Bombs had gone off, Darkly and Koogar (Bowser) were able to bring a massive Tick Tack Gunship out of the Tick Tack. They created yet another explosion, but then a final attack by various ships began. In the end, Top (Kirby) used his Star Ship to cut right through it, destroying it. They then entered the Tick Tack, revealing it was the Tick Tack Dude forum. They headed through until they found The Cloud (Master Hand) lying on the ground, along with a trophy of Koogar and Darkly. They then saw Count Bleah (Tabuu), who turned them all into trophies...
Later, he was suddenly untrophied by Some Pokemon Trainer (Pokemon Trainer), who had been untrophied by Tron, who had been untrophied by Testube (Luigi), who had been untrophied by some badges Dr. Pikachu (King Dedede) had designed to untrophy trophies after a set amount of time. Then, the heroes headed into the final battle with Count Bleah...
In The Mediocre Maze, Oshy, Fireflower (Werblebomb's replacement) and Cinder (Lucas) were placed in The 1576 Kingdom Novel. There, they fought against Councilplant Leslie and Peggy Koopa. Except that battle took 3 seconds, so then they ran from a large group of Buzzy Beetles and a Rhypherior. Well, the Rhypherior punched them away. After tossing Popple in lava, they appeared inside a temple where they fought Darth Leslie, who they defeated by freezing him.
In the end, Count Bleah was destroyed and it was a happy ending. The end.
Top's RP That Doesn't Actually Have a Name
In this Role Play, Top, Oshy and Topper were sent to a strange world along with some other characters to participate in a series of missions involving various characters. As usual, Oshy is one of the smarter and more serious characters, and is still a bookworm.
Personal Information
Personality
Oshy is shown to be an intelligent Yoshi who enjoys reading often. Unlike Top and Topper, he usually more serious-oriented and never very odd. This has not always held true, though, as in Return of FOEA Oshy randomly went into a song when the YB had been kidnapped.
Although he would rather read or help out by looking up information, he is a fairly good fighter who can help out in battles. He generally would prefer to not fight, though, as he's peaceful. However, this does not give him a cowardly appearance--he usually realizes that peace isn't going to come about, and will go ahead into battle anyway, especially when his friends are on the line.
He also has a high moral standard, as shown by his dislike of how the Clone Army is set up: While he isn't against the general idea, he dislikes how the lesser clones seem to be sent out right in a line of fire. This is one of the reasons that he left the YB. This has also lead him to dislike SWDF influence in things, such as in Return to Gisho.
He can also be very loving and affectionate... although only with Apricot.
Appearance
Oshy is a white yoshi who wears Cerulean colored shoes.
Abilities
Oshy has all the normal Yoshi abilities, from the long tongue, turning things into eggs, flutter kicking, ground pounding, strong legs, and so on. He has also developed the ability to make Fire Eggs, Grenade Eggs (neither of which are very pleasant), Ice Eggs, and Clockwork Oshy Eggs. He can also use Egg Roll with each egg, excluding the Clockwork Oshy Egg. In addition, when he eats any color of Koopa shell, he has the ability to become invisible.
Final Smash: Clockwork Transformation
Oshy tosses several Clockwork Oshy Eggs into the air, and when they open up, a Yoshi transformation bubble is with them and they become 1 of the Yoshi transformations. Helicopter flies around toward foes and will explode, the Mole Tank will dig into the ground then come up near a foe and explode, the car will drive around at a high velocity and explode when it hits a foe, the Train is like the car only a bit slower but with a larger blast radius, the Mushroom will float through the air gently until it hits a foe or the ground, and the Submarine will simply fall to the ground and explode. They all have an equal chance of happening.
Family
All of Oshy's family is from Gisho Island, making all of them but his brothers supposedly deceased. Despite coming from the same island and having the same last names, Oshy is not related to Apricot or Professor Oh Gee.
Yisho
Oshy's only older brother, Yisho is kind, caring, and a good role model. He never fully came out of his egg, but instead the egg gradually grew with him. He eventually developed wings, and also learned a fair amount of magic which he inherited from his mother. He cares for his brothers and Moll E. greatly, and will do almost anything to help out. He is a yellow Yoshi with an eggshell suit like that of Jr. Troopa.
Sonic & Shadow the Yoshi
Sonic & Shadow are the speediest Yoshis this side of being needlessly fast. Because of their speed, they took up residence at Yo'ster Isle, where they often race around. Shadow is a bit of an introvert, while Sonic is often talkative. Sonic is a blue Yoshi with blue quills where the red spikes normally are on the back, while Shadow looks the same only black.
Jalapeno
Jalapeno is the youngest of the 5 brothers (pronounced "Jal-ah-pen-o"), but is also the most fiesty. Born with a fire in his belly, he eventually moved to Glitzville, although instead of entering fights, he began to work for Hoggle, making flame-broiled hot dogs. He's a green Yoshi with a red nose.
Duller
Duller is Oshy's father. Duller was a kind and caring father who is now in the Underwhere. He often misses his sons, but is glad he got to see them grown up before he died. The younger Duller was shown to be worrysome at times, but with good intentions. No mother of Oshy's has ever been seen. Duller is a plain gray Yoshi.
Moll E.
Moll E is a female Toad who took Oshy and his brothers in when she found them at Toad Town docks when they were infants. She is a kind and compassionate woman, but is also independent. Oshy sees her like his mother.
Lavinia
Lavinia is Oshy's birth mother, a purple yoshi with powerful magical abilities. Oshy couldn't remember her from when he was younger, but met her spirit on Gisho Island once. She seems to be a very wise yoshi.
Alternate Forms
Anti-Oshy
Anti-Oshy is an unintelligent, but very powerful, version of Oshy created by The Dark Perforation (Metal Top's creator). He had the IQ of a brick.
Items
Egghold
Egghold was designed by Professor Oh Gee to be an item holder similar to Stuffwell, only egg-shaped. Egghold could originally talk and was a character in its own right, but eventually Topmonhit grew tired of having two speaking suitcases, so he changed Egghold from a character to an item (during the story, in fact!) It has a zipper which can be used to open it up. Like Stuffwell, Egghold holds various items for Oshy, including a number of various colors of Koopa Shells and Oshy's other shoes. It also has a hard outer shell, which Oshy can use as a shield.
Koopa Shells
Oshy has a wide range of various colors of Koopa Shells, each of which does various things when he holds one in his mouth. Because he's a white Yoshi, each one gives him the power of invisibility. It's important to note that these were not taken from actual Koopas, because that would be cruel. They were bought from a Shell Emporium.
Banjo-Kazooie Shoes
Oshy once had Turbo Trainers, Wading Boots, Springy-Step Shoes, and Suction Cup-Climbing Shoes (which were like Claw Clamber Boots). However, he sold the Wading Boots due to them never being used, and thus is left with Turbo Trainers, Springy-Step Shoes, and Suction Cup-Climbing Shoes.
Eggs
Oshy's main weapon of choice are generally his eggs. His normal eggs are like normal Yoshi eggs, which are also used with the Egg Roll attack. His Fire Eggs can set foes and things on fire, and can also blaze a trail with Egg Roll. Grenade Eggs are explosive, but are the heaviest kind. They are also the most defensive type with Egg Roll and explode when they collide with something, but are slower than most. Ice Eggs can freeze foes and things, but while they are the fastest with Egg Roll, they're slippery. The Clockwork Oshy Egg creatues Clockwork Oshys, which can move around and eventually explode. Oshy is unable to use this egg for the Egg Roll move, however.
Residence

Oshy once lived with Top in Top's House, but after that was destroyed, he, Top and Topper moved to Gisho Castle. Although at first it was intended to be temporary, Topper eventually convinced Oshy to have the three of them make that their permanent residence.
Interactions with other Characters
Top
- Main Article: Top Mon Hit
Top and Oshy are seen as good friends, although Oshy often gets annoyed by his extreme oddness. However, Oshy is always ready to give him a hand, although doesn't always let Top come along with him when he has to do something important. Top has saved Oshy once, and Oshy has saved Top once, so it's clear they're friends. He will usually spend more time with Apricot, however, which sometimes contradicts what Top wants.
Topper
- Main Article: Topper Mon Hit
Although Oshy and Topper are clearly friends, they seems to have less in common than Top does with both of them. On the other hand, they both get annoyed by Top's oddness sometimes, and they have worked together on some occasions. They have a bit of opposite stuff going on, though--Oshy is more inclinded to doing intellectual things, while Topper is more of a fighter. Like Top, however, Oshy will usually side with Apricot more often.
Whirl

Out of the three permanent members of Team TOT, Whirl likely respects Oshy the most. Oshy once did some inventing, similar to Whirl, but it never went anywhere. Oshy believes, however, that Whirl secretly likes Evelyn, and sometimes tries to get him to show it.
Sneen

Oshy and Sneen are shown to be on somewhat better terms than Sneen was with other YBs; in fact, it's said that Oshy was one of the few YBs that Sneen could actually stand. Sneen once helped out Oshy on a Kart called the Clockwork One, and Oshy (like most everyone else) was deeply saddened when Sneen died.
Kienstrom "Angry Scientist"

With Oshy's high moral standard, it seems only obvious that he dislikes Kienstrom's insane experiments on different creatures. Therefore, he also dislikes Kienstrom.
Team Flash

Oshy is not very fond of Team Flash, whether they're on the side of good or evil. The main reason for his is that they're only on the side of good if there's money involved, or something similar. However, he is willing to work with them if the need arises.
Princess Apricot Gisho
- Main Article: Princess Apricot Gisho
Ever since Oshy first saw Apricot, he felt a spark. After saving her and getting to know her, he found that he had fallen in love; with the feeling mutual, the two often are seen together. Any time Apricot is kidnapped, he has a need to rescue her, and will do nearly anything to do so. He would prefer to do anything than put her in harm's way, but enjoys spending time with her quite often.
Professor Oh Gee

Oshy has a deal of respect for Oh Gee, but also sees him as somewhat kooky. He thinks he's a good professor, though, even if his inventions aren't always perfectly useful. He often goes to visit him to see how he's doing, and to see what he's been up to.
Testube

Oshy's feelings on Testube are fairly mixed, mainly due to the fact all he can say is "Bun". He, nor usually anyone else, notices that Testube often gets the short end of the stick with Oh Gee's inventions.
King Rexor

Oshy has an extreme dislike for Rexor, believing him to be a brute and not very bright. As Rexor tries to kidnap Apricot often, Oshy often goes to his castle to rescue her, causing many fights between the two. Their relationship is essentially that of Mario and Bowser, with the exception that Oshy and Rexor have never worked together before, and in fact Oshy and Bowser have worked together (a little bit) against Rexor once.
Dr. Tyrato

Oshy also has dislike to Rexor's top scientist. At first, he was a bit sympathetic to the fact he had to wear some headgear to remain alive, but after he learned that it carried a Bullet Bill Blaster, his sympathy went away. However, he dislikes Tyrato slightly less than he does Rexor.
Anubis
Oshy saw Anubis to be a good leader, even if Anubis didn't think so himself. He also saw Anubis as a good way to keep the Clone Army in check; once Anubis was gone, it all went downhill.
Chibi

It's possible the only reason Top dislikes Chibi more than Oshy is that Chibi often insults Top. However, Oshy has an extreme dislike of Chibi's jerkiness, and would more often than not rather not travel with her.
Coshi

Although Oshy isn't fond of Coshi's warrior background, he is friends with him, and somewhat jealous of his and Plasshi's marriage. They're quite opposite, with Oshy being a bookworm and Coshi being a warrior, but that might also be a complement, in the way that if they worked together, Oshy could find data on things while Coshi could battle them.
Danny

Oshy generally tries to stay away from Danny, but is willing to work with him if the need arises, and unlike most others, Oshy generally doesn't make fun of Danny. He's a bit annoyed by a number of his traits, though.
Koop
Oshy tended to keep his distance from Koop at first, but over time he began to notice Koop would sometimes have bursts of seriousness, so during those times he would gladly help Koop out if he needed to. But if Koop was in random mode, not so much.
Power Box

Oshy is good friends with PB, and PB is good friends with Oshy since he's a yoshi. Oshy thinks PB sometimes strains himself a bit too much, though, and that he shouldn't try to force himself to be random. Oshy also trusts PB a deal, allowing him to come with when they went to recolonize Gisho Island.
Sally

Oshy gets along with Sally a bit better than her brother, and trusted her enough to allow her to come with when they went to recolonize Gisho Island. He recognizes her ability as an archeologist, which he finds interesting.
Sera

When Sera was born, Oshy realized that magic seems to be rather common among some Yoshis, with at least 4 that he knew that knew magic. While Oshy shares similar fears for Sera that Sub has, his fears are based on how she will grow up based on who raises her.
Shi'un

Oshy and Shi'un seem to get along better than Shi'un does with the other members of Team TOT (mainly Top). It would seem obvious, given they both like peace and both enjoy reading and knowledge and all that jazz. He thinks she's a bit weird in some aspects, though.
Sneezier

There are two things about Sneezier that bugs Oshy, and those are the Clone Army and his needlessly vast use of robotics and large ships. However, he does see that Sneezier has a good heart, simply just a little misguided sometimes.
Subsourian the Dark

Like with Sneezier, Oshy dislikes Sub's use of the Clone Army; despite this, he does have a deal of respect for Sub. He once mistook Sub's use of the word "bookworm" as an insult, but after learning that was not how he was using it, Oshy began using the term as well.
Trivia
- His name is often mistaken as "Oshi" which is likely due to the fact that Yoshi ends in an I. He gets upset by this despite the fact that it's likely near-impossible to tell a difference.
- White was the color of Yoshi in Adopt-a-Yoshi that was a bookworm, which is why Oshy's personality is as such.
- For Halloween 2008, Oshy went as Kazooie.
- For Halloween 2009, Oshy went as Captain Olimar.
