The Gouf Rangers are specialist robots created for combat support or to take roles in special tactics such as assassination, sniping, and stealth via swiftness, viciousness and dexterity, even though they aren't the strongest robots. They are created after the their first encounter with the Cornerian Force because the Zaku Troopers are not good with special tactics due to their AI limitations. They are common as the Zaku Trooper and they are in very high demand.

Design
Unlike their Zaku cousins, the Goufs have more weapons and variations. Much of their weaponry depends on their variation, the Flyers get Crusher Claws and Spike Ball attachment, Assassins get Sniper Rifles, Sonicblade Daggers, and Stealth Devices, and Armorbusters get Bazookas.
During the Metal Wars, they support troops and caused major trouble to the enemy. The dreaded Sonicblade swords was responsible for killing and injuring millions. They also oversee slave labor and force POWs into Roboticizers. Even though they are formidable foes, they are no match against ARC Troopers but even against Ork Nobs.
There are certain source that explains that the Gouf Ranger design vaguely resemble Popstar's Murmington Industries' butler robots, whenever it's a coincidence or it has something to do with Metal Sneezier's secret past.
Weapons and Items
Wrist Gun
The wrist gun is the Gouf's main weapon attached to the left arm. It is deadly and powerful as the Spiker Assualt Rifle. It uses plasma beams instead of Spiker bullets to cause damage to the enemy. The energy also can deplete deflector sheilds.
Sonicblade Sword (and other bladed weapons)
The Sonicblade weapons are the most lethal weapons beside the sniper rifles. The edges of the weapons were a vibro-edged with a stun module that could knock a Manticore unconscious using a concentrated nerve impulse similar to that featured in the stun setting of a blaster. The impulse worked by overloading the central nervous system, effectively knocking the victim unconscious. When the weapon was set to maximum it could rip through any metal bulkhead and easily dismember most organic beings. The control settings and power generator were located at the weapon's hilt. They come in many forms, swords, foldable knives, spears, tridents, claws, and shivs.
