The Geara Dogas are Upgraded Zaku Troopers with NMAR parts. While slimmer, they have better defense and higher agility thanks to multiple thrusters. During Omega's reign of the Metal Army, upgrades are mandatory, gradually shrinking the numbers of Zaku Troopers and became Geara Dogas. Like their predecesors, their strength are in numbers which is now easier to achieve due to ease of producing their bodies using less materials.

History

Origins

In November 2008, Dr. Albert is very busy designing NMAR robots so they can inherit the Metal Army as victorious overlords or as exlied beings so they will be mass produced after the Metal Wars. The Geara Dogo is the result of redesigning the already successful Zaku Trooper into the Geara Doga by adding more thrusters, made the body slimmer, and smarter AI. Shortly before the Fall of Mekkai, the Zaku Zaku Trio begged the good doctor to be upgraded. Having the perfect opportunity, he upgraded their bodies which is successful. He made more of them around the three hundred mark for Omega's personal force, the Platinum Leigon. With the heir to the Metal Army, they later left Mekkai via a secret warp gate.

Geara Dogas have slimmer builds which deceives enemy soldiers to be weaker in defense but their upgraded appearance is a major deception. The body has actually have better defense due to their new crematic Denzium alloy bodies. The new design also makes room for aditional thrusters for better speed and agility. Making them formidable foes. Their newest abilities along with their snouted cousins is spewing exhaust from their snouts which is toxic to any organic. The joints can move fast and freely like an organic being. They also survive decapitation so the head can fly around and reattach to another body, much like a Mechawful.

They are one of the well known robots to have the infamous mono-eye from the Murmmington Industries robot line. The Mono-eye system was first introduced by Dr. Albert used on working machines as the main opic sensor. The system consist of a main optical sensor (main camera) mounted on a rail system so that the sensor could freely slide on the rail to increase the sensing angle so the robot could look around without turning the head. It can incorporate various visors such as the combat visor. In order to capture the distance of the objects, two pictures taken by the Mono-eye have to be processed and compared. The NMAR version now has multiple visor modes, original ones, copied versions. Not only it gives the eye clear HD redition, it makes the unnessessary little scrawls of code invisible, lock onto targets faster via HUD, survey squad member status, and scan targets for upload into the Metal Army Database.

All NMAR robots like the Dogas have red liquid with nanomachines inside their bodies, the answer to a living being's blood cells. With them, they can self recover from most attacks and maintain their bodies without any assistance from an engineer or any repair drone. If they receive any wounds, they "bleed" out the nanomachines like an organic's bloods, it could be unsettling for most people which could make them confused for either cyborgs or people in robotic armor.

The head processor contains 8 maximum output links. The internal, SAGE-type CPU contains a system that is capable of executing mathematical logical enactment and an analog neuro-connection between all components. It allows the A.I. to be "sentient", capable to feel and act like a living being.

Sub CPU: Skynet ZFX Chip v.5

Containing a 10 link system connecting to all major body components governs the power control system, while a Murmmington 4000 Chip Series 12, with 12 basic loading ports, utilizes HUD imaging in the optical area.

The Spiker rifle is the main weapon for the Zaku Trooper replaceing the RZ-14 submachine gun. A .75 cal projectile weapon that fires extremely hot and sharp bullets called "spikers" to wound and kill enemies. The rapid-firing, razor-sharp, heated projectile could tear through armor and flesh with ease creating devastating wounds, extremely painful for the rare few who survived being hit by one of the spikes. The weapon is industrial strengh so it can penetrate most energy sheilds. When a Spiker is fired, it leaves a fowl smell, similar to smog. The perks are scopes, a cluster gernade launcher, grapple claw, beam bayonet, and an invisible lock-on laser.
RS-45 Spiker Shotgun

Originally a sidearm for the Gelgoogs, it's a hybrid of a shotgun and a revolver in compact size. It can be used for close range due to the shotgun's short range. It also have blades for suprise melee attacks.
Beam Axe

A standard issue melee weapon for the Zakus. What lacks in easly handling makes up for it's sheer powerful just by swinging it. Not only it can be used for melee combat, it can be thrown like a boomerang.
Shoulder Sheild

The Shoulder Sheild is the most powerful part of the Zaku's body, when blocking, it can absorb energy weapons thanks to it's anti-bean coating, projectile weapons, and even melee attacks.
"Jump" thrusters

A standard issue equipment for all Zaku soldiers, it allows the troop to jump good as the Mario Bros. It allows for accurate and precise jumps from location to location, giving the Zaku the mobility and tactical flexibility that they often lack. Unlike the Flyer Packs used by Gouf Rangers, these do not provide them with a permanent airborne presence or the ability to accurately fight and hover. It is designed for use on a terrestrial environment where after the initial jump they can rely on gravity to bring them back to ground.
