Decisive Plan! The Finale of Black Cat Slike! is the second episode of the Mobius Chaos series. It involves Slike's most successful plan yet, but which ends in his worst failure. It also ends in Whirl and Evelyn finally getting together, almost seeming like a culmination of the Whirl Vs. Slike saga.

Story

Part 14-1: Fastest Mech in the Pecos

It all began while Whirl was in his lab, thinking of events that had been going on in the past few months, when Evelyn came in, interrupting him. He began to complain when Glerk came in, saying Slike was attacking Station Square. They rushed out to find him. At Station Square, Slike was inside a new scorpion-themed mech, Skorpil. The one fighting it, however, was Sonic.

When Whirl, Evelyn and Glerk appeared, they accidently distracted Sonic, allowing Slike to hit him and cause Sonic to drop the Chaos Emerald he had. Tails came just in time and grabbed it, and Sonic told them to escape while he distracted Slike. Unfortunately, Slike somehow caught up with them and caught Tails; Tails threw the two emeralds he had to Glerk, and Whirl, Evelyn and Glerk continued to escape. Slike appeared again, but this time Metal Chaos appeared and allowed them to keep escaping.

Unfortunately, Slike caught up to them again, this time in front of them, and bashed Glerk away. He was able to get the two emeralds, and was about to take Whirl's when Glerk attacked the mech, telling Whirl and Evelyn to get out of there. This time, they succeeded in escaping to the sewers. Slike had five emeralds, they had one, and the X-Nauts had one (unbeknownst to Whirl; he thought the Metal Army had it). They began to head through the sewers towards the Mystic Jungle, wondering how Slike got his mech so fast.

Part 14-2: A Band of Six

Outside Whirl's Lab, Slike was gathering any useful things he could find. He found information on the Chaos Emerald at Alinos, and told them to build robots like those of the Metal Army to spy on it and find out what they can; for now, he had things to do at Mobius. Meanwhile, at Mystic Jungle, Whirl and Evelyn were just getting out of the pipe. Whirl took out his Palladium Fire Flower to call for help; he got ahold of Sub, but heard gunshots going on, and found out the Metal Army had launched a full invasion on Star World, and soon after the line went dead. Evelyn asked Whirl if they would be okay, and Whirl assured her, lookin into her eyes, they would be okay.

...the tender moment was then ruined by Hey You staring at them rather closely. Whirl, Evelyn and Hey You were about to go when a telephone booth crashed near them and The Doctor stepped out. He and Whirl recognized one another from four years earlier, and Hey You nearly sang his theme song again. Plasshi and Sera then made the most boring character appearance ever and joined up with them. After the inroductions, Whirl said Slike was likely looking for them, so they should hurry and keep moving.

Part 14-3: I Thought Chao Were Peaceful

The six of them traveled through the jungle for an hour until they came across something shocking: The Doctor's TARDIS! Realizing they've been going in circles, and Evelyn began to panic then fell to the ground. Whirl tried to calm her down, but found there was a dart on her; more began to come at them, and three chao with war paint appeared. They kept firing darts at them, eventually knocking all but Hey You out. However, no matter how many times they hit Hey You, he wouldn't get knocked out, so they just tied him and the others up.

When they woke up, they found themselves in a Chao Village, and the emerald was sitting on a stand. The chao were collecting wood around the wooden posts they were tied to, and the chief of the chao spoke up, saying they were evil. Just before they were going to start burning the wood, Kioles appeared, saw them, recognized Whirl, and began to yell at the chao to let them go. The chief finally agreed, and they found out Slike had attacked the village recently. Whirl explained the situation, and the chief decided to help.

Part 14-4: Suspicions! And They;re Both of Girls! What;s With That!?

The next day they awoke, and soon after a girl appeared out of nowhere: Enni. She asked if she could see their Chaos Emerald; at first they were suspicious of her, but The Doctor said she seemed trustworthy, so they let her see the emerald. After explaining that the others were in the hands of evil, Enni said she could help them out. Meanwhile, Slike sent his Metal Army fakes off to Alinos while making plans to comb through Mystic Jungle.

The heroes continued looking for shelter away from out in the open until they came across a large, old, worn-out mansion. Before they came closer, Arami came out and saw them in the bushes, and told them to come closer. Kioles was suspicious, but The Doctor said she seemed all right. Kioles still doubted her trustworthiness, but they came up and went into the mansion, finding it to be old and rather dusty. Arami welcomed them warmly, though.

Part 14-5: Arami's Mansion

Arami decided that a good trade-off for them staying there would be them cleaning the mansion, given it hadn't been cleaned in years. After a long day of cleaning, they were exhausted, and went to bed; there was one room they didn't clean, however, which Arami claimed nothing was inside. That night, Arami went into a hidden room and began to write in her diary about the guests that had come. She was considering keeping one for a bit, and wrote them all down; after marking off most of them, Whirl and The Doctor were the only ones left.

Part 14-6: What's Up, Doc?

Throughout the next day, Arami followed The Doctor from above, watching how he interacts with the others. When she came down to speak with The Doctor and Kioles after The Doctor noted she hadn't been seen all day, Kioles suspected she was eavesdropping. He began getting really tense from no one believing him, and later that night, Arami almost wanted to choose The Doctor from what she had seen, but decided to watch Whirl for a day.

The day was cut short, however, when she saw Evelyn give Whirl some flowers for valentines day (which it was), and she thought they loved each other, so instead she decided to go for The Doctor; that night, she crept up to The Doctor opened her mouth... but although the rest of the scene wasn't shown, the next day it was revealed she decided not to bite him because she liked him too much.

Part 14-7: Reversal of Fortune

Evelyn and Arami were outside the masnion, watching the snow fall, when Evelyn saw Kioles hiding in a bush. He began to accuse Arami of biting The Doctor, but she denied it, and they began arguing when Evelyn finally stopped them. Arami began to sing I'm Going to Go Back There Someday, and Kioles began to join in as well. When the song ended, however, they heard the sound of a loud motor and trees falling and saw Slike with a tree-cutting mech in the distance!

They rushed inside and hid in the cellar, the room Arami hadn't show them earlier. When Slike came into the mansion, Arami greeted him warmly and was able to detract him from his mission long enough for her to get close and bite him, injecting her venom in him. Slike was about to attack her when everyone burst out of the cellar and attacked him, knocking him to the ground. Arami revealed to Slike what her venom does, which meant in six hours Slike would be under her control.

Part 14-8: Begin the Explosition

The next day, everyone woke up and realized they were tied up! Slike was now up, and clearly not under the venom's power--then another Slike appeared. Soon after the entire room began to be filled with Slike! A mech that flew in the air came into the room and opened up, revealing a very old Slike from the future. Slike of the present began to explain that not long after the previous story, he was in his lab, brooding over his recent loss. He complained that a great plan wouldn't come falling out of nowhere, and then a pod crashed into the lab, the pod in question having Dr. Eggman's insignia on it. It opened up, and the future Slike came out.

Part 14-9: I Don't Like This Future

After the future Slike convinced the present Slike he was really him, the future Slike explained that there's a plan in the far future for world domination that works. The future Slike was too old to get past the defenses, but the younger Slike could, so he got in the time pod and went into the future. When Slike arrived, however, he was instantly captured by a bunch of Egg-Robos. As it turned out, the future was ruled by Dr. Eggman. Slike was thrown into a jail cell, and saw the Whirl of the future (although he had dropped the nickname), as well as the Evelyn of the future. Slike was going to kill the future Tabbir so he wouldn't have to share a cell with him, but then Tabbir told him about a plan to escape they had.

Part 14-10: Prison Break

The future Tabbir explained who else was there, but said that Sonic had disappeared years earlier. Slike suggested that Eggman had made him a robot, which riled Amy up; Miles got an idea from this, and had Knuckles break the camera in their cell. Soon after, a repair robot, along with two guard robots, came. One guard robot used a tractor beam to hold Miles and Knuckles still while the camera was fixed, but Tabbir called for the other guard robot to tell it the camera there was broken.

It wasn't, but when it came over, Slike slashed it with his claws. The first guard robot fired an energy blast at them, but Tabbir and Slike backed away and the cell bars were destroyed from the blast. Slike then jumped out and attacked the guard robot, freeing Miles and Knuckles from the tractor beam and Knuckles smashed the guard robot.

They then used an arm from the destroyed robots to blast the other cells open. The only problem was the cells still had cameras in them, and a voice echoed through the base to find the escaped prisoners. A large group of guard robots began to come their way, so they began to run.

Part 14-11: This is Metallic Madness! This is the Eggman Empire!

A group of guard robots were in their way, so they began to pummel through them until they were destroyed. They continued to hurry until they reached another room, which was then locked down and Metal Sonic came in. It stated that it was the roboticized Sonic, and they began to fight. During the fight, they tried to get Sonic to come to his senses, but it was kind of hard considering that during the fight the real Sonic came in and attacked Metal Sonic, revealing that it was never the real Sonic at all. They began their fight...

Part 14-12: A Plan for World Domination

Metal Sonic was defeated, although Sonic had taken a good amount of damage from it. The fight had made a hole in the door, so they headed out and began to go after Eggman. Slike, however, slowed down until he was behind everyone, and instead went to find the plan for world domination. He found a warp pad and used it to get to the computer room, but just as he was about to read the file a guard robot destroyed the computer. In a rage, Slike destroyed the robot and went to the time pod hangar so he could return to his own time.

While Slike was yelling to himself, he accidently hit the button labeled "TIME STABILIZER". He seemed to be unharmed when he returned to his time, though, and began yelling at his future self. While he was yelling, though, they realized there was a second Slike... and a third Slike. They realized there was a whole mass of Slike in the room, and that destabilizing the time pod caused Slike to be sent to many different times, each time returning to his time, causing him to essentially break time and have multiple Slike at one time.

Part 14-13: Unlucky for the X-Nauts

The Doctor was appalled at what Slike had done, but Slike didn't care and brought in a bunch of Slike-bots to bring them to Station Square, now known as Slike Square. A Slike then mentioned to them that they found out the X-Nauts had the emerald at Alinos, not the Metal Army. Meanwhile, at Alinos, Grodus was speaking with some X-Naut PhDs, who were telling him the robots were found to be made by Slike. Grodus told them that if any enemy ships are found coming towards the citadel to stop them at all costs; they needed the emerald for the Ultimate AI. Back at Slike Square, Slike was examining the situation at Alinos, and was planning...

Part 14-14: Slike Vs. the X-Nauts

At Alinos, the X-Nauts began to panic when a fleet of ships began heading the citadel. Slike contacted Grodus via hologram to gloat, then left as the fight began. The main ship, The Black Cat, began to fire lasers at the X-Nauts that did tremendous damage, but the X-Nauts began firing on the eyes of the ship. Eventually they were able to destroy the lasers, but then the X-Nauts were rocked again as The Black Cat appeared from bein cloaked over on the side.

Part 14-15: Solid, Slike. Real Solid.

Out of The Cat Cruiser came a small, undetected vessel that the "main" Slike was in. He was able to get to outside the citadel, then pulled out a monitor box and broke it open, gaining an electric shield. He then ran through, the plasma cannons bouncing off him, but he was detected by TEC-X3 and some Zaku Troopers went after him. Slike was able to evade them and get to the central core; he then used the Zaku Troopers' shots to hit the core.

The emerald was broken out and deactivated the Metal Army robots. He then grabbed the emerald, and pulled the others out of a cube he had brought along. Grodus told all the X-Nauts to intercept Slike before he escaped with the emerald, but then there was an explosion at the citadel. Soon after Slike disappeared, X-Nauts of all types were pummeled, and as the X-Nauts panicked the remaining ships of Slike's escaped.

Part 14-16: The Cavalry Has Arrived!

As the prisoners spoke of past events, Whirl mentioned how he was rooting for the guys who tried to kidnap him half a year ago. But now they were jailed and had no plan... until in came Knuckles and Team Chaotix, there to bust them out! They destroyed the machines controlling the energy cells, allowing them all out, and they went down the hole Knuckles and Team Chaotix made to get there. Elsewhere in Slike Square, some Slike came back from a coffee break and saw the prisoners escaping and quickly sent some Slike-Bots to attack them.

Everyone but Team Chaotix and Metal Chaos had made it down the hole when the Slike-Bots arrived, and Metal Chaos sent Chaotix down the hole then blasted the ceiling, causing the room to collapse. The Slike-Bots were destroyed, but Metal Chaos was able to get down the hole in time. They then went through the tunnel and came out just outside Mystic Jungle, on a hill overlooking Slike Square. They heard some footsteps, and turned around to see...

Part 14-17: The Power of Teamwork?

General Distinct arrived, and began by apologizing for their previous encounter, but now they knew they were on the same side. With General Distinct and his soldiers' help, they began to head back to Slike Square for a showdown with Slike. The Doctor, however, stopped Arami, Kioles and Charmy, telling them he had a plan that would end better for all, but needed the help of five others, so Charmy went to get Vector and Espio.

Elsewhere in Slike Square, Slike was just returning from Alinos and the future Slike told him the prisoners had escaped. Slike was confident, however; they had all seven emeralds now. They sent the Slike-Bots and something called the Jaguar out to stop them, although Slike wanted to fight Whirl personally. While General Distinct's soldiers and the wild chao fought against all the Slike, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles began to fight the Slike-Bots, although there were so many of them they decided to use their Team Blast.

Part 14-18: A Turn For the Better or Worse

Suddenly two flying Slikebots grabbed Tails and Knuckles, separating them from Sonic! Meanwhile, the others heard the roar of a wild cat and in came a large mech, The Jaguar, a large jaguar-based mech with two turrets. Hey You, Plasshi, Sera and Enni remained while the others went on to find the main Slike. During the fight, Plasshi and Sera used Bolt, but then found out the Jaguar was using the attacks to charge up for a massive energy beam. Meanwhile, in the TARDIS, The Doctor had a plan and needed Arami, Kioles and Team Chaotix's help with it: the plan was to stop Slike's fiddling with time before it began.

Part 14-19: The Future Feline's Fury

Once Whirl, Evelyn, Glerk, Metal Chaos and General Distinct got to the inner area of Slike Square. The future Slike appeared, and General Distinct disappeared. The future Slike began fighting them with his vessel. The future Slike mentioned Glerk's family to him, which stunned him for a good part of the battle. Near the end, Whirl, Evelyn, Glerk and Metal Chaos worked together for an attack that paralyzed and damaged the future Slike's mech, but then turrets came out of the room manned by Slike, after which some ships came in that began to repair the future Slike's mech.

Part 14-20: The Corrupted Timeline (Super Part)

On the roof of the main tower in Slike Square, Slike hit a button to teleport Whirl onto the roof but instead got General Distinct. Slike went ahead with the fight anyway and used the seven Chaos Emeralds to become Dark Slike; he then began to fight against General Distinct, beating him up easily. He was about to be defeated while everyone else was also nearly defeated.

Elsewhere, and elsewhen, Slike was flying through time back to just after he had left when the future Slike first came to him when the TARDIS appeared, landing on the time pod and sending it elsewhere in time. Dark Slike was about to kill General Distinct when the TARDIS landed right between them, stopping the attack. Slike came out, and because none of it ever happened, time turned inside-out and imploded, then completely fixed itself with the Chaos Emeralds.

Suddenly everyone was at Station Square, and everything was back to normal. The only ones who remembered what had happened were Whirl, Evelyn, Glerk, Metal Chaos, Hey You, Kioles, Arami, the Chao Chief and all the Chao, General Distinct and his men, The Doctor, Plasshi, Sera, Enni, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Team Chaotix, and Slike.

Everything was back to normal, except Slike was now arrested by General Distinct and brought to jail. That, and with Slike in jail, Whirl and Evelyn finally got together. Enni obtained one of the missing Chaos Emeralds, while another ended up at the citadel at Alinos. And finally... Hey You was now in the TARDIS!

  • This story was originally scheduled to occur at the same time as Pokemon Obscure Metal, but then was shifted to the same time as the Metal Wars Climax.
  • I'm Going to Go Back There Someday is a song from The Muppet Movie sang by Gonzo.
  • Part 14-6: What's Up, Doc? is a reference to the catchphrase of Bugs Bunny. Coincidentally, the main character of this story is also a rabbit.
  • Part 14-11: This is Metallic Madness! This is the Eggman Empire! is a reference to both the movie 300 and the final boss of Sonic Heroes, Metal Madness.
