Arami is a spider girl from Mobius and has somehow become Topmonhit's favorite female character of his. She seems to have the second-most long, thought-out history of his characters, second to Sneen. This Wiki should let him find out. She has a venom that is a mind-control serum, which she uses on travelers who come to the mansion she lives in. She seems to have a mixed personality, with various traits on her inside and outside.

Top Story Bio
Arami is a spider girl with a poor childhood; she was orphaned when she was very, very young. For the most part, there were only two other orphans there, however: one was a pelican named Pailem—he was more of a go-getter than Arami or the third; and the third was a whatever—they didn’t know what he was, but he thought he was an alien; he was named Zornt. At any rate, one day the orphanage told them there was a new schooling program where they would be able to go to school. Unfortunately, when they did, it turned out all the kids at the school made fun of them constantly—not only for being orphans, but to Zornt for being such a weirdo, and to Arami for being a creepy spider-girl. Eventually, Arami got sick and tired of it and one day bit one of the taunters. Once she realized what she had done, she ran into the jungle. About 6 hours later, however, she saw the person she had bitten in the jungle. She was afraid she was going to be hurt until he suddenly referred to her as “mistress”. It was then she realized what she had: venom that was a mind-control serum. She couldn’t go back, though, and continued to live in the jungle until she found an old, worn-out mansion. She had him completely clean up the mansion as she began to form a large spider web in the front room. A year passed, and Arami began to learn more about her venom, including how to make the antidote, and so she gave her then-slave a jar of antidote, told him to return to Station Square, and then drink it. 6 years had passed since then, and she continues to live in the mansion; whenever someone finds it and enters, they usually find themselves bitten. The venom takes 6 hours to take full effect, however, which sometimes can cause problems. She never keeps them, however—she always eventually lets them free. She often misses her old friends, Pailem and Zornt, though, and wishes she knew where they were. While she is devious and wily, she is also kindhearted, although sometimes she can be a bit wicked. On the outside, she seems cunning, manipulative, and somewhat cruel, but deep inside she is very insecure and almost like a scared child. Although she knows some about how her venom works and the antidote, she actually does not know a whole lot about it, and wishes she could learn more, not to mention just who her parents were, as that might give her more answers that she seeks. Over the years, however, rumors about her existence have sprouted up, causing some searches for her by various organizations, from military groups searching for dangerous myths and legends, to bounty hunters. Thus, she rarely comes out of her mansion, and has not stepped foot in or near Station Square since that fateful day 7 years ago…
History
Orphaned
Arami never knew her parents--the longest back she can remember, she was living in an orphanage. Not just any orphanage, but an old, run-down orphanage. Every so often other orphans would show up, but they wouldn't usually stay for some reason. The only orphans that remained there eventually became Arami's best friends. One was a pelican by the name of Pailem, while the other was a strange creature no one knew what he was; his name was Zornt. The three of them were just about all they had for many years at the orphanage.
One day, when they were around 10 years old, the orphanage announced they had gotten funds to send them to school. Although they were enthusiastic (yet nervous) about it at first, after they arrived they found their classmates to be absolute monsters, tossing insults and more at them. Mostly they made fun of them for being orphans, but some made fun of Arami specifically because she was a creepy spider girl. Back then, she wasn't exactly the prettiest thing in the world. For the next couple years, they were forced to go through taunts, insults, pranks, and all other manner of jerkish acts. But soon, Arami would have enough...
The Mistake
One day, a particularly cruel kid--a dog--was tossin rocks at her, and saying nasty things to her. There was no one else around, and as she got hit with a rock, she became infuriated and finally lost control--out of nowhere she lunged at the kid and before she knew what she was doing, she bit him. The kid became terrified and ran, while Arami also became terrified of what might happen to her. She quickly hurried away from area and ran into the jungle, not looking back.
While in the jungle, sitting on a large rock near a river, she began to wonder what she would do... she was alone, she had bitten someone, they were probably looking for her; she felt like she was going to have a mental breakdown when she heard something out in the bushes. She nearly had a heart attack when she saw that it was the kid she had bitten, but something was different about him--he was acting like her servant, and calling her mistress. She wasn't sure, but she began to think that when she bit him, she may have injected a venom she didn't know she had into him, which enslaved him...
She wasn't sure, but told him to follow her deeper into the jungle. Eventually, they came across an old, dilapidated mansion; inside it was old and run-down, but Arami decided to make it her home, creating spider webs all around the inside of it, and keeping her slave to help her out with clean-up of the mansion and whatnot.
New Life
For the next year, Arami stayed in her mansion, having her slave bring her food and water from the jungle. One day, a badger came by the mansion. Apparently, he appeared to be a scientist--a chemist, at that. Once Arami had him under her control, she was able to have him help her find more about her venom, although she wasn't able to learn a whole lot, mainly that if you mix it with a strange type of berry's juice--bueberry juice--it will create an antidote for the venom. She decided to have her two slaves go get her a large amount of bueberries, then she mixed them with her venom to create some jars of antidote. She then gave them each a jar and told them to return to Station Square, then drink it--then, when the venom lost its control over them, they would forget all that had happened. She would never see them again.
For the next 6 years, she lived at her mansion, and every time a traveller came by, she would take them in and keep them as a slave for a short time; she would always free them eventually, however. This practice began to create myths about a creature that enslaved people, and those myths began to be investigated by various government organizations. Nothing had ever been found, but they continue searching. She has missed her old friends ever since, wondering whatever became of them, hoping they didn't get in danger from her actions, but all at the same time not wanting to set foot in Station Square for fear of the people there.
Mobius Chaos
One day, she saw a group of people outside her mansion--a rabbit, another rabbit, a dodo, a red chao, a bunch of other chao, a human male (later she learned he was simply called "The Doctor"), a dinosaur, a baby dinosaur, and a human female. She invited them in, and allowed them to stay for a few days. While they were there, though, she began to spy on Whirl and The Doctor. She believed Whirl and Evelyn were in love, so she decided that she would bite The Doctor and keep him for a little while. However, she ended up deciding she wasn't going to bite him at the last second, and so didn't.
Later, she finally got Kioles, who, the entire time, had severely distrusted Arami, to trust her a bit. Just then, a black cat appeared, who revealed to be the reason they were hiding: Slike. They had a Chaos Emerald, and so she told them to hide in her cellar while she would take care of Slike. After lowering his defenses with a massage, she was able to bite him and the others incapacitated him so that he would be unable to move, and he would be under her control in 6 hours. The next day, however, it turned out he wasn't and they were all tied up! Slike explained to them how he went through time and accidently created a whole bunch of himself, and then they were brought to Station Square, only now it was Slike Square.
They were imprisoned there until Knuckles and Team Chaotix appeared and broke them free; they escaped from Slike Square, and once they did, they ran into a dog named General Distinct. Not fond of military types, as she had learned some government organizations had learned about her, so she stayed away from him. While everyone headed to Slike Square for a final try, The Doctor asked Arami, Kioles and Team Chaotix for help with something else: They all arrived at his police box--er, Time And Relative Dimensions in Space (the TARDIS), and used it to bring the Slike that had created the mess-up in time that brought so many Slike into the same time to their time, so that he would never make all those Slike and thus his plan would fail. It did, and Slike was defeated; Arami continued to stay away from General Distinct, however, and so quickly left as soon as she could. Later, Kioles appeared, apologizing for his distrust before, and he began to come visit every so often.
Imara
One night, while alone at her mansion, Arami heard some mechanical noises outside. She looked out to investigate and saw Dr. Eggman coming towards her mansion. She quickly escaped through the secret cellar exit, leaving the mansion to be destroyed. She came across Kioles in the jungle, who told him Eggman had attacked her, and the two stayed together in case Eggman showed up again. At the Mystic Ruins, they saw a girl sitting at the ruins with robes; Kioles was unsure about her, but Arami went over to meet her. She introduced herself as Karma, and the two began to converse.
During their conversation, Glerk and Metal Chaos, friends of Whirl's, appeared. Apparently they had gotten an invitation to a kingdom called the Getcro Kingdom, as the prince there, Prince Glerk, had disappeared a while ago. Glerk said that he wasn't their prince, and was going to sort things out, so Arami, Kioles and Karma decided to go along with them. At the kingdom, however, it turned out Glerk wasn't the prince, and the king declared he was an imposter; the guards then attacked them and tossed them in the dungeon.
A short human named Dyna (or so he claimed) showed up and broke them out of the dungeon, however, but as they were escaping they were confronted by the queen, Queen Kinnio, and used her magic abilities to fight them. During the fight, a part of the kingdom's temple exploded, and some guards appeared telling them that Dr. Hyneman had betrayed them. Dr. Hyneman was in fact an alias of Dr. Eggman's, and Dyna was in fact Ridley, who was helping him. Razabi was helping him too. At any rate, they hurried to the temple to confront them.
At the temple, Dr. Eggman revealed that he was looking for the final part of the Nega Emerald, an emerald opposite that of the Master Emerald; the Nega Emerald had the power to increase the power of the Chaos Emeralds to unimaginable levels. Eggman had the yellow emerald, and during a brief skirmish Arami was revealed to have the purple emerald. The Nega Emerald activated when Arami was near it, causing her to become temporarily evil and to use the Nega Emerald to start attacking everyone. Kioles was able to get her to fight the evil power, though, and Ridley knocked her off of it, knocking her unconscious.
When she came to, she saw Eggman Nega and what appeared to be a darker version of herself come into the room, Imara. Eggman Nega explained the Nega Emerald was, in fact, an emerald of his own design made for Imara to use. Karma attempted to stop Imara from getting to the emerald, but Imara bit Karma, releasing her venom into her, and revealed her venom worked much quicker than Arami's. Before Karma could attack anyone under Imara's control, though, her sword spoke, revealing to be sentient, and jumped out of her hands. Imara made it to the Nega Emerald, though, and began to use it.
Despite all the power of the Nega Emerald at her disposal, Imara was defeated when Arami and Kioles distracted her long enough for Metal Chaos to get the two Chaos Emeralds and cause an influx of power with the Nega Emerald, shattering it to pieces. Eggman Nega left, leaving Imara to be sent to prison. Just when they were about to leave the Getcro Kingdom, a mailpelican showed up to deliver a letter. Arami recognized the pelican as Pailem, and the two rejoiced at finally seeing each other after all those years. Arami explained to Pailem what happened, and Pailem told Arami Zornt had left the planet to try and find where he came from. With that, Arami remained in the jungle, despite Pailem attempting to get her to come to Station Square--she still felt most comfortable in the jungle.
Personal Information
Personality
Topmonhit often states Arami as having a mixed personality, with many different and complex layers. In terms of her venom, she sees it as her most powerful tool (with her webbing being her second tool), and usually uses it freely. However, those she uses it on are often those she does not know very well or dislikes. She has given herself a rule about her victims, which is to never date them. Why? Who knows.
On the outside, she seems very sweet, nice, and charming. Depending on who she is speaking with, however, she can also be alluring and enticing--whatever she seems like on the outside, it's likely to lower the guards of whomever she is speaking with. This shows that she is devious, not always being completely honest, and being very careful and calculating. She uses her cunning to get into someone's head so that she can manipulate them until she can bite them and make them her slave.
Whenever she bites them, she usually then quickly traps them in a cocoon of silk; sometimes, she does this beforehand, making things much easier for her. Sometimes, once she has them immobilized, she tells them what she's done, just so she can watch them go from a state of panic, anger, or other such things slowly into a state of submission. Other times, however, such as if she has a certain fondness for them, she won't tell them until just before the 6 hours are up so that they won't be panicky.
While all this may make her seem cruel, she is really a kindhearted person. Her years of insults from the schoolkids have made her somewhat bitter, while her years of loneliness in the mansion is often what drives her to put travelers under her control--simply so she can have some company for a time, then she always lets them go later. In fact, she usually deactivates the venom temporarily (after immobilizing them with some silk) and then asks them what they think of being under her control, and if they would like to stay as such; if not, she always gives them the antidote... maybe not right away, but... She never wants to hurt anyone, unless they're trying to hurt her first.
Even deeper inside her is someone who is very insecure. She feels unsafe if she strays too far away from the mansion, and thus does not leave the mansion very often; sometimes she will go out some ways, but not very often. Inside, she is fairly timid, but is able to mask that very well; her timidness is another reason she puts him under her control, as she is less timid around those who are her slaves. Sometimes, though, she feels like a scared child--if a situation has gone out of her control, she can become terrified, especially if her life is endangered, which has happened before. She has also been shown to have a fear that she is truly evil, or that her parents were evil, or that she is connected to evil in some way. This fear was reinforced a bit by Imara.
To summarize, she's cunning and alluring, yet kindhearted and sweet; yet devious and manipulative while at the same time insecure and frightened. All that rolled up into a spider-girl with mind-control venom.
Appearance
Arami is a spider-girl with black skin, and several protrusions on the top of her head. She has semi-large fangs, but are normally concealed in her mouth. She has four arms, each with a gloved hand, and four legs, each ending in a red, heeled slipper. She wears a purple dress with no sleeves that ends around her knees. It also drapes over her abdomen, which is about the same size as the rest of her body and is striped with darker and lighter stripes, with the lighter stripes thicker.
Abilities
Arami has two main abilities: The ability to shoot silk and webbing from her abdomen, and her mind-control venom. With her silk, she has created a vast amount of spider webs inside the mansion. She also has various types of silk, including a type she used to make her own clothing.
Venom
Arami's venom is a mysterious serum that can take control of the mind of anyone who is injected with it. What makes it even more mysterious is that when mixed with bueberry juice, it creates an antidote to the venom. Arami herself knows very little about her own venom, in fact, and thinks that if she knew who her parents were, might be able to get a better idea about it. Either way, her venom is her most-used ability, and her most powerful. Once someone is under her control, the only two ways they can be free is if Arami snaps her fingers (in which case the victim will only be free until she snaps her fingers once more, as the venom is still inside them and can take control at any time (not to mention that it's not just any snapping, Arami has to have the intent of freeing them/unfreein them)), or if the victim drinks the antidote, which, unless Arami is the one to give it to them, they will likely fight back to avoid taking it.
The main drawback is that it takes 6 hours to have a full effect, which leaves the victim a good amount of time to try and force her to give them the antidote; on the other hand, if they take it gracefully, it can be a good thing, giving them a time to do some things before falling under her control. Of course, usually Arami traps them first, making such a move impossible. In addition, after three hours have passed, the venom begins to effect the brain, making them dizzy and lightheaded. It appears to be possible for this to be empowered to where the venom takes effect almost instantaneously, but this is only backed by Imara.
Family
Arami never knew any of her family, as she was orphaned at a very young age. Her venom is a possible clue as to who her parents were, but as she doesn't know much about her venom, that isn't a very good clue.
Residence
At a young age, Arami lived at an old, broken-down orphanage with little funding. It was a dreary place with mediocre staff, but it was home.
After she fleed into the jungle, she found an old, decrepit mansion that she moved into. It has two floors and many, many rooms. She filled the higher areas of all the rooms with spider webs so that she could get around easier. There is also a cellar, which she filled with the antidote to her mind-control venom. Because she is so deep in the jungle, she doesn't get news very often, although when travelers come by and she enslaves them, she often learns of recent events from them. She also has some of her victims give the mansion a good cleaning and fixing up, as it usually needs it. She rarely leaves her mansion, anad when she does, it's not for very long or very far away.
After Dr. Eggman destroyed the mansion, Arami went to live in the jungle for a while by covering a group of trees in spider webs.
Imara
Imara is an alternate dimension version of Arami, coming from the dimension of Blaze the Cat and Eggman Nega. Imara is what could be seen as an evil Arami, who is much more ruthless and willing to put anyone under mind control. It is not certain, but it is possible this evilness came from outside influence by Eggman Nega, as he has said that he had taken Imara out from the orphanage she was at, hinting that she was at an orphanage like Arami. Even when Eggman Nega deserted her, though, she refused to go back on her evil ways and was sent to prison vowing revenge. She seems to have a thirst for power. Her appearance is very similar to Arami's, only she has a more regal outfit with red at the edges of her dress and a necklace ending in a red jewel, as well as her fangs being visible and her gloves being black.
Interactions with Other Characters
Whirl
- Main Article: Tabbir "Whirl"
Arami has a bit of distrust of Whirl, like with everyone she meets, but in the case of Whirl she seems to have a bit less distrust than usual. She realized early on that he loves Evelyn, although that is not the main reason she chose The Doctor over him in Mobius Chaos Episode II: Decisive Plan! The Finale of Black Cat Slike!
Kioles
- Main Article: Kioles
At first, Arami disliked Kioles, mostly due to Kioles' dislike of Arami, but after the distrust between them disappeared, they began to be on more friendly terms, as both of them never knew their parents and live out in the jungle. In the end of Mobius Chaos Episode II, Kioles began to come visit her in her mansion every so often. The two now have a bond of trust and are good friends.
Slike
- Main Article: Slike
Arami dislikes Slike a lot, somewhat wishing that she could put him under her control and keep him there as a permanent slave. At the same time, she would rather not, just because she doesn't like him.
Evelyn
- Main Article: Evelyn
Arami seems to trust Evelyn a bit more than most others, and they're on fairly friendly terms, with no real problems between them. Despite this, she didn't say farewell at the end of Mobius Chaos Episode II, but this was due to General Distinct being nearby.
Zornt
- Main Article: Zornt
Zornt is confirmed to be one of the two orphans Arami knew when she lived at the orphanage, but their exact relationship is unclear.
Pailem
- Main Article: Pailem
Pailem is one of the two orphans Arami knew when she lived at the orphanage. The two were good friends, given they had only one other friend, and Arami hated herself for not saying good bye before escaping into the jungle many years ago. Despite this, when she and Pailem finally met again, she was still too afraid of Station Square to move back with him, and remained in the jungle, even without a mansion. She hopes Pailem will come visit her sometimes, however, as she missed him dearly during the time she hadn't seen him.
Enni
- Main Article: Enni
Arami seems to distrust Enni a bit more than most people, although the reason for this is unknown. By the end of Mobius Chaos Episode II, this distrust had subsided, but it still lingered a little.
Guerrera
- Main Article: Guerrera
When Arami first saw Guerrera, she went to her to meet and converse with her, not paying heed to what danger might lurk there. Although Guerrera gave a false name out at first, Arami feels Guerrera is someone she could have as a good friend.
Plasshi
- Main Article: Plasshi
The fact that Plasshi has a daughter seems to make Arami trust her a bit more due to her seeing this as a sign of caring and compassion.
The Doctor
- Main Article: The Doctor
Fourth Doctor
Arami sees The Doctor as friendly and nice, choosing him over Whirl to try and keep there, but ended up choosing not to bite him due to her having a fondness for him. This does not, however, mean that she loves him, and in fact if given a choice, she would likely not go with him, as her insecurity continues to keep her in her mansion.
General Distinct
Arami has a dislike for all military and government officials, for she has learned that military and government organizations have heard myths about her and have been searching for her, making her uneasy around them in that they might realize who she is.
Imara
Arami is fearful of Imara as she is essentially an evil version of herself, fearful that she could very well be like that. After hearing Eggman Nega say he took Imara from an orphanage, however, she feels that Imara may have become evil due to Eggman Nega's outside influence. Either way, she is still wary of this alternate dimension version of herself.
Trivia
- Arami is the only character Topmonhit has made other than the Slubes characters that was made on a forum other than one most everyone in this wiki goes to.
