Kioles is a young Chao who was abandoned in the forest when he was very young. He was forced to fend for himself, and therefore is very tough for both a young age and a chao. It is unknown why he was abandoned in the forest; his parents may have left him there for a number of reasons, or he may have been a tamed Chao egg that was lost in the forest. He is often untrustworthy, but if you get to know him he can be pretty agreeable. He seems to be like a Knuckles version of a chao, actually.

Top Story Bio
Kioles is a chao who was abandoned by his parents when he was a baby chao. He ended up having to fend for himself in the wild, and because of that, he’s very tough. He’s serious and refuses to take anything from anyone. He’s distrusting of most robots and technology. He’s (another) fire-based character, but also has skills in regular fighting and can pound his way through a boulder even though he’s a tiny little thing and only 9 years old! Despite seeming like Knuckles, however, he isn’t gullible, which apparently isn’t in the dictionary. Oh, wait, yes it is.
History
Abandoned
Kioles doesn't actually remember much of anything from his early life; all he really knows is he's never known any parents, and he's fine with that now. At least, that's what he says. Whether he's completely fine with it or not is unknown.
At some point he met Whirl. Then at another point Pyro showed up looking for a Gemerald Star, and Kioles helped him look for it. However, SZM was slow at RPing back then, and Kioles eventually left.
Kioles was hijacked by a random Chao UFO that somehow brought him to Star World. There, the Chao UFO began turning everyone into chao. Kioles ended up destroying it, however. This was how he met Top. Top then brought him back to Mobius, and Kioles did a lot of nothing until he met a tribe of wild chao that he began to live with.
The Finale of Slike
One day, the tribe of chao found a Chaos Emerald. They kept the emerald safe until they were attacked by Slike and it was stolen; soon after, the tribe attacked a group that wandered too close to the tribe, thinking they might be attacked again. When Kioles found out that one of them was Whirl, however, he convinced them to let them go. He and the chao tribe then began to travel with the group (consisting of Whirl, Evelyn, Hey You, The Doctor, Plasshi, and Sera. They soon encountered a girl named Enni who also joined them.
They came across an old, dilapidated mansion a spider girl named Arami lived in; Kioles didn't trust her one bit, but everyone else did, and it began to drive him crazy. However, a few days passed, and after she and Kioles sang a song together, he began to lighten up. A bit too late, however, as Slike suddenly showed up. Kioles and the others hid while Arami spoke to Slike, eventually biting him and injecting her venom into him, which, in six hours, would put him under her control.
The next morning, however, Slike was not under her control, and everyone was tied up! Slike revealed he had more or less broke time and there was now an uncountable number of Slike in existance at one time. After explaining how this occured, Slike brought all of them to Station Square, which was now Station Slike. Luckily, Knuckles and the Team Chaotix were able to break them all out and they escaped. They prepared to go on the offensive after escaping, but The Doctor brought Kioles, Arami, and Team Chaotix to his police box, which was really the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space), and together they used that to prevent Slike from ever breaking time in the first place. This caused everything to revert back to normal before Slike broke time, and ever since then, Kioles occasionally dropped by Arami's mansion to visit.
The Getcro Kingdom
Half a dozen months later, Kioles fond Arami traveling through the jungle, and learned that Dr. Eggman had attacked her mansion. The two stayed together in case Eggman showed up again, but then came across a robed girl at the Mystic Ruins. Kioles was suspicious, but Arami went to meet her, and eventually it seemed she was okay; she introduced herself as Karma. Soon after Glerk and Metal Chaos showed up with a letter from the Getcro Kingdom asking about the missing Prince Glerk. Glerk said it was a mistake he was going to fix, so they all went with them to the kingdom.
When they arrived, it was found Glerk wasn't the prince, but the king suspected him of being an imposter and the guards attacked them, sending them to the dungeon. They were broken out by a short human named Dyna, but while they were escaping the queen, Queen Kinnio, engaged them, trying to stop them with her magic abilities. During the fight, however, the temple was attacked, and they found it was by Dr. Eggman, who had been tricking the Getcro Kingdom. Dyna was there as well, actually named Ridley and helping Dr. Eggman, as was Razabi.
Eggman was trying to get the Nega Emerald, which could increase the powers of the Chaos Emeralds, but during a skirmish Arami accidently activated it with the purple emerald she had and became temporarily evil. With Kioles trying to convince her she didn't want to be evil, however, she managed to stop herself and was then knocked off the emerald by Ridley. Eggman Nega and a strange version of Arami, Imara, then appeared in the room, and Eggman Nega revealed the emerald was actually built by him for Imara to use as a powerful weapon. Although Imara managed to activate the emerald, Metal Chaos stopped it with a massive influx of power, destroying the emerald.
Kioles really didn't do a whole lot in that story, did he?
Personal Information
Personality
Kioles is a tough-as-nails chao who had to fend for his own all his life. Because of both his appearance and personality, he seems similar to a Knuckles version of a chao. Unlike Knuckels, however, he isn't very gullible; on the contrary, he often has a hard time trusting people, especially when first meeting them.
He is willing to help others, but doesn't usually accept help from others for his own problems. This is likely due to his having to fend for himself all his life. He also has a strong moral sense, although most of his morals are geared towards his own survival.
Appearance
Kioles is an orangish-red chao with a massive number of spiky hair-like protusions coming out the back of his head. Unlike regular Chao, he has no narrow part on the top of his head with a small, floating sphere.
Abilities
Kioles has an unusually large amount of strength compared to other chao and other creatures overall, as well. He can punch his way through a boulder. He also has a limited power over fire, able to throw large fireballs and burst himself into flames without harming himself. He also, like Knuckles, can sense certain items from far away. Not too far, though.
Final Smash: Vulcan Fireball
Kioles jumps up and starts punching the air, which causes a firey version of vulcan jab to come out. After a few seconds or so of traveling, the fireballs explode.
Family
Kioles has no known family; he never knew his parents, and was abandoned at a very early age.
Interactions with Other Characters
Top
- Main Article: Top Mon Hit
Kioles has had one encounter with Top, and he'd gladly make it his last. At first, Top didn't seem that bad. Then, Top brought him back to Mobius. Needless to say, Kioles may never step into another ship as long as he lives. He now thinks Top is completely crazy.
Whirl

Kioles thinks Whirl is an okay guy. He doesn't really understand or like a lot of that scientific stuff, but is still friends with Whirl.
Slike F. Elion
- Main Article: Slike F. Elion
Kioles dislikes Slike just as much as anyone else. He figures if Slike succeeds in taking over Mobius, he might tear down all the forests, and besides that, he's evil. Evil is evil, and Kioles is against it.
Glerk
- Main Article: Glerk
Kioles' interactions with Glerk have been few in number, and as most have been with Whirl, he often doesn't interact with him, actually to the point where he couldn't remember his name when Glerk wasn't with Whirl.
Arami
- Main Article: Arami
At first, Kioles disliked and distrusted Arami immensely. Something about her was very unsettling to him. After time, however, this unsettlement dissipated, and he was even able to become friends with Arami; the two are in a fairly similar situation in that neither of them ever knew their parents or any of their family, in fact. Their trust has bonded into a good friendship now.
Pyro

Kioles helped out Pyro a while back in some Gemerald Star hunt, but overall Kioles found Pyro to be annoying and kind of forgetful. He probably didn't see Pyro's piloting skills or something.
The Doctor
The Fourth Doctor
Kioles found The Doctor to be overly trusting, although this may have been because everyone they met was trustworthy. He bears no ill will towards him, and also helped out in the TARDIS.
Trivia
- Although Kioles is often cited as being similar to Knuckles, the sprite is based off the Sonic chao from Sonic Advance 3. As it turns out, this is intentional.
