Character History

Powers and Abilities

Peter Parker was bitten by a spider that was exposed to the Oz compound. Due to this, his DNA has been genetically altered to displays several traits of a spider. Peter can adhere to walls and other surfaces, even through his clothes. He has greatly enhanced strength (shown to be powerful enough to lift a car) and agility. He also has a extra sensory warning system that allows him to react to danger. Calling this spider-sense, Peter can preemptively sense any physical dangers to his body and together with his enhanced agility and reflexes, react accordingly. Due to this combination, Peter can dodge physical attacks almost effortlessly, going as far to dodge bullets. Peter also possesses accelerated healing, though the rate has not been detailed.

Peter also has a pair of homemade web shooters of his own design. He uses these with a molecular adhesive that was started by his dad, and finished by Peter. The webs have incredible tensile strength, being far more than enough to support the weight of several persons and immobilize most people (Dr. Octopus' mechanical arms were shown to be strong enough to break the webs). The deployment mechanisms (web shooters) can be adjusted on the fly to deliver different consistencies of the fluid.
