Kraven arrives at the Hammer industries scene and challenges Spider-Man to a battle. Spider-Man declines and begins tending to the wounded. He finds that Justin Hammer has died from a heart attack during the fight with Otto Octavius. Kraven attacks Spider-Man while he is attempting to help, Spider-Man dodges Kraven’s attacks easily and tries to get Kraven to cease attacking. Eventually Spider-Man punches Kraven once and knocks him out cold.

• After defeating Kraven, Spider-Man helps Hammer’s assistants out of the wrecked limo. He is applauded by the attending journalists. He is asked by a reporter if he knew Justin Hammer to which he replies that he did not, and that it’s just sad when someone dies for no good reason. Spider-Man then attempts to leave the scene, but is stopped by the reporter who offers to interview him and let him tell his side of the story. Spider-Man accepts and gives a quick interview. He leaves when the cops are heard approaching.

• Kraven and his crew are arrested by the cops.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Carter arrives at the scene and proceeds with containment. She is questioned by the reporter, who is identified as Traci by her cameraman, and does not respond except to tell her that she lost her feed. Ben Urich is shown making notes and leaving the scene.

Peter arrives home a 3’o’clock in the morning to find his Aunt May waiting for him. May accosts him to find out where he has been all night, Peter tries unsuccessfully to lie, saying he was at the Bugle and then with Mary Jane. May reveals that she has called both places and knows that Peter is lying. May grounds Peter until he stops lying to her and tells him that she will call the cops on him herself if he does not obey.

Otto Octavius is placed into a containment cell by agent Carter and her partner. They reveal that Hammer industries have been confiscated and that all illegal genetic experiments have been stopped.
