• Magneto announces that his plan to wipe out the human race will occur at midnight. The Citadel is currently located at the North Pole.

• The Brotherhood of Mutants attacks camp X-Factor and releases the mutants contained there (including Xavier).

• Cyclops disrupts Magneto from using the amplifier and sends a beacon to the X-Men, providing them the location of the citadel.

• Shadowcat destroys the amplifier with her phasing ability, but not before Magneto destabilizes the core of a nuclear reactor in Florida.

Notes:

- Wolverine nearly decapitates Sabretooth during the battle. Sabretooth is revealed to have survived this wound in Ultimate X-Men 66.

- Colossus goes into a frenzied rage when he sees that Magneto is harming Wolverine.
