DISCLAIMER or something we need one of those fancy box things: This article is about events that took place at Tick Tack Dude. Therefore, some information may be incorrect.
Return of FOEA was a Yoshi Bodyguards RP by Topmonhit, and was also the first he did at Tick Tack Dude. A small part of it was the prelude to a two-point-five-part story arc he had (this was the first .5).

Story
Act 1: Treasure Hunt
One day, Top randomly finds a treasure map somewhere. It had been a couple months since anything had happened, so the YB went on a treasure hunt with it (some other YBs, including Sneen and Abby, stayed behind). Unfortunately, Wario and Waluigi overheard they were looking for treasure, as did Team Flash, so they followed. While they were making their way to the island the map said to go to, Team Flash appeared, and Sneezier attacked them, blasting their hot-air balloon away. Eventually, they made it to the island, and camped out for the night.
Meanwhile, at the YB HQ, the five shards the YB had been collecting suddenly acted up and crashed around Sneen's room (which was also his lab), smashing into various chemicals and combining two viles of DNA Sneen had to form a strange creature, which then ran off. Sneen went after it in his cruiser, and it just so happened to make its way to the island the other YB were at. Wario and Waluigi, who were looking around the island for the treasure, encountered the creature and ran from it. Sneen found the other YBs, then Wario and Waluigi showed up and the creature revealed to be a mutated Yoshi and Rex, or Yoshirex. After it was defeated, the shards split from it and made their way through the island.
While the YB and Wario and Waluigi were chasing the shards, Team Flash, who had crashed onto the island, saw them and also chased after it. The shards made their way to a treasure chest, opened it up, and a 6th shard appears. The shards merged together to reform a complete star, and then a strange ghost with a similar appearance to Monstar appeared. It was named Darkost, and the YB began to battle it. Strangely enough, however, it went down fairly easily. With there being no actual treasure, the YB, Wario and Waluigi left.
Act 2: Key to Defeating the Darkness
When the YB returned to their HQ, nothing much happened for a day or two until one night, while it was storming, Top tried to do a prank call on Sneezier with his Platinum Shroom. It didn't work out, but then Top began acting strange. Unbeknownst to anyone, Darkost had not been defeated, and instead hid inside Top's PS. When Top used it, he entered Top and took control of him. Top, now controlled by Darkost, then left. Soon after, a dark figure burst into the HQ! ...it revealed to be Wiggly Jr., along with... his father!
Wiggly Jr. and his father began to explain that Wiggly Sr. was inside that star along with Darkost, and freeing Darkost freed him. However, Darkost would not be defeated so easily, and Oshy suspected that he may have possessed Top, as Top was acting strangely. Wiggly Sr. explained that he had fought Darkost many years ago, but was unable to defeat him, only able to imprison him in that star, but he was also imprisoned. Somehow, they tracked Darkost to Star Haven, where he had taken it over. Wiggly Sr. said the only way would be to imprison him once more, and the only place to find another star jewel would be at the Crystal Palace. Some YBs, however, wanted to try and fight against Darkost (who was still in Top), so they split temporarily.
One group went to the Crystal Palace, and saw Gluposs once more. Unfortunately, they found out the location the star jewel was required a key to get inside, but that gave Oshy an idea. They had to make their way to Rareworld, while the other YBs began to fight Darkost. They found, though, that when they got there, Darkost unpossessed Top, and instead left enough darkness inside Top to allow Dark Top to control him! A battle then ensued; meanwhile, the others got to Rareworld, and went to Freezeezy Peak. Unfortunately, Wozza told them that the key was taken by some strange people, the descriptions of which matched Cackletta, Fawful and Grunty, so they made their way to Cauldron Keep.
When they arrived at Cauldron Keep, they found the Ice Key, but Fawful refused to let them take it. Just then, Cackletta appeared, saying that if Star World is being taken over by not-them, then the YB should be given the Ice Key so they could save it so that they (Cackletta, Fawful and Grunty) could take it over later, so the YB got the Ice Key. When they left, however, Cackletta ran back out, revealed to be Gluposs in disguise, and so the YB were chased back to Star World. When they got to the Crystal Palace, they opened up the door, got a new jewel star, and went to Star Haven. They successfully trapped Darkost inside it, but Wiggly Sr. was once again trapped as well. Top became dizzy as the darkness began to leave him and Dark Top began to lose control, but before anyone realized it, Fawful had grabbed Top with a claw and sucked up the darkness that was leaving him! Fawful escaped with Top, leaving the YB without their... Top.
Act 3: What Does This Have To Do With Anything?
Several days or so passed, and Topper showed up, wanting to rejoin the YB. So he did; Top wasn't around, though. Anyway, they they suddenly obtained an alert from Popstar that King Dedede was having all the Kirbies in Dreamland locked away! The YB hurried over there, burst into Dedede's castle, and fought against a number of Waddle Doo, then found Dedede. When he was defeated, Dark Matter came out of him and attacked the YB; after a short battle, Dark Meta Knight appeared and joined in the battle. In the end, Cackletta, Fawful and Grunty appeared, along with Dark Top, who was now in control of Top again, and they gloated, saying they were going to bring FOEA back, then had O3 or something attack the YB. It was defeated, but they still had to give chase.
Act 4: The Return of FOEA
When the YB returned to the HQ to gather supplies, Wiggly Jr. appeared, saying Cackletta, Fawful, Grunty and Dark Top had stolen the jewel star. The YB immediately set out to Tubba Blubba's Castle, but when they arrived, they were kidnapped. It turned out FOEA had kidnapped Yoshi, too, and Missingno. was there as well. I think they used Missingno. or something to glitch the jewel star so Darkost could get out and possess Yoshi, then Oshy sang a song about the YB and the villains dispersed to begin their evil activities.
The YB escaped somehow and went through the castle defeating foes and Grunty gave them a quiz and Fawful challenged them to a card game and in the end the YB battled Cackletta's Spirit and Darkost and Dark Top and in the end Wiggly Jr. defeated Darkost once and for all, saved his father, FOEA was redisbanded, and Dark Top lost his total control over Top. The end! Well, not entirely, for now Wiggly Jr. learned from his father that the person he thought was his mother wasn't, and that led to his second journey. Blah blah read his article for that.
Trivia
- The dark ghost originally had no name and no real identity; however, recently Topmonhit has come up with a backstory in order to give a future story of his some more plot.
- Tubba Blubba's Castle was used early by FOEA as a base when they successfully took over Star World.
Connections to Other Stories
- Wiggly Jr.'s journey to search for his father ends with this story; his second journey began at the end of this story.
- The first time the YB met Gluposs was in The Adventure of Wishes, which was also the first time they found a shard.
- The five shards were found in the stories The Adventure of Wishes, The Koopgang Family Story, The Yoshi Bodyguards in Lemon Lime Time…, Pokéworld Peril, and The story with the Dream Island and Wind Fish and it was the last YB G&W story.
- This is the final appearance of FOEA, which disbanded near the end of The Dark Ages. King Boo, however, did not return for this story, nor did Metal Top. Dark Meta Knight, on the other hand, was not in the original FOEA.
- This story began a 2.5-part story arc involving Stop 'n' Swop. The only real connections, however, were the Ice Key's appearance and the Witchy Fury Trio. It is interesting to note that while the next story, Stop 'n' Swop Yoshi Bodyguards, was a YB story, the final part, The Plot of Evil Dreams, was the first story of Topmonhit Story.
