From Yb Timeline
"It's Star Haven. This place is so peaceful!"
-Goombario, Paper Mario
Star Haven is a place high in the sky of Star World where Stars live. After being raised by Ninjis in Starborn Valley, Star Kids fly into the sky and get to Star Haven. It is also the place where the Seven Star Spirits live.

History
It is unknown when Star Haven was first created, although it is assumed it has existed for as long as the planet itself. It is also unknown when the Seven Star Spirits became Star Spirits, or if they had always been Star Spirits.
In Paper Mario, Bowser and Kammy Koopa invaded Star Haven, stole the Star Rod, and kidnapped the Star Spirits in cards. Mario had to go and rescue the Star Spirits, then went to stop Bowser with help from them.
[Please have Dr. P add information for Omnia Causa Fiunt.]
In The Adventure of Wishes, Star Haven was attacked out of nowhere by Wart. The Star Rod was shattered to seven pieces, one of which Wart himself was able to get. The Yoshi Bodyguards showed up, wanting the Star Rod to help because Metal Top had awoken the Beanstar, but because the Star Rod was shattered, the YB had to go collect the pieces. In the end, the Star Rod was brought back together, and the Beanstar was saved.
In Paper Luigi: Pickle Star Dream, Luigi dreamt that Star Haven had been destroyed, and the only thing that could restore it was the seven Pickle Stars, which he then went off to retrieve.
Seven Star Spirits
The Star Spirits are the most powerful of the stars in Star Haven. They watch over the Star Rod in the Star Palace.
Eldstar
Eldstar is the elder of Star Haven, as shown by his large, white mustache. It is possible he is also the most powerful, as he was able to speak to Mario as a hologram without the other Star Spirits in the spiritual link (on the other hand, the other Star Spirits may have been redirecting some of their power to him). In Paper Mario, Eldstar was the first Star Spirit rescued.
Mamar
Mamar is a kind-hearted and happy Star Spirit, and also somewhat motherly. She wears a pink bow. She can also sing almost anyone to sleep with a lullaby, which is how the Beanstar was originally put to sleep. In Paper Mario, Mamar was the second Star Spirit rescued.
Skolar
Skolar is a scholarly Star Spirit who is always studying. He has a brown mustache and wears glasses, and is purple for some odd reason. In Paper Mario, Skolar is the third Star Spirit rescued, although he actually escaped before being kidnapped by the Boos of Forever Forest.
Muskular
Muskular is a Star Spirit that is blue for some odd reason. He also wears a blue sailor hat. His name seems to imply he is muscular, so perhaps he also eats spinach and drinks spinach soda. In Paper Mario, Muskula was the fourth Star Spirit rescued.
Misstar
Misstar is a Star Spirit with a yellow ribbon on her head (or something like that) and is the color pink. She appears to be strong-willed, and also a lovely Star Spirit, as hinted by part of Goombario's tattle of her (which was simply a heart) and by her Star Power, Smooch. In Paper Mario, Misstar was the fifth Star Spirit rescued.
Klevar
Klevar is a Star Spirit that, as his name implies, is clever. He is always seen holding a book under one arm, and he also wears a bowtie. In Paper Mario, Klevar was the sixth Star Spirit rescued.
Kalmar
Kalmar is a Star Spirit with a much simpler design than the others: He simply has a mustache and a pair of eyes, and the mustache isn't even as fancy as Mario or Luigi's. He is often calm and prefers to avoid fights, as shown by his Star Power, Up & Away, which turns all enemies into stars that fly away. In Paper Mario, Kalmar was the seventh Star Spirit rescued.
Twink
Twink is a young star from Star Haven, having just arrived there when the events of Paper Mario began. When Princess Peach wished for help, he came arriving to grant that wish. Throughout the game, Peach and he would find out information on the location of Star Spirits, then Twink would go down to Mario and tell him what they found out. In the end, he battled and defeated Kammy Koopa, then helped the Star Spirits help Mario defeat Bowser.
Other Information
The Star Rod
The Star Rod is a magical item that can grand the user any wish they desire. For this reason, Bowser stole it in Paper Mario, but was eventually defeated. Later, Wart attempted to steal it, but only succeeded in shattering it into shards, of which he gained one piece. It is likely the most powerful object on Star World, as anyone who takes possession of it could have any wish they wanted.
Beanstar
The Beanstar is a star that can grant wishes, but was put to sleep by Mamar and given to the Beanbean Kingdom. Cackletta and Fawful stole it once, and because the only voice that could awaken it was Princess Peach's, they also tried to steal her voice, but their plan fell apart due to Prince Peasley knowing of their plan beforehand. At one point, Federation of Evil Acquaintances stole it, but then Metal Top stole it from them and used a speech given by Peach to awaken it. The YB were able to stop his plan with the Star Rod, and the Beanstar was put back to sleep. During The Great Creator and The Great Destroyer, it disappeared after The Dark Perforation Army supposedly stole it, but it was not found in the aftermath.
Star Haven Shop
- Life Shroom: 25 coins
- Mushroom: 10 coins
- Shooting Star: 15 coins
- Stopwatch: 15 coins
- Super Shroom: 10 coins
- Super Soda: 3 coins
This is the cheapest place to buy a Life Shroom, as in Shiver City it is 40 coins and in Boo's Mansion it's 50. On the other side, it's the costiest place to buy a Mushroom, and ties with the Bowser's Castle shop for the price of the Shooting Star. The Stopwatch costs less here than in Boo's Mansion, and it is also the cheapest place to find a Super Shroom. It is also the only place you can buy Super Soda.
Trivia
- The Star Rod first appeared in Kirby's Adventure, in which it didn't grant wishes, but created dreams. It is thus possible that there are other similar facilities, and thus Star Rods, on other planets.
- The Star Spirits returned in Mario Party 5, and although they were no longer in paper form, they had lost their mouths.
- Star Haven was originally going to be one of the Metal Army's main targets but the concept was scrapped due to time constraints.
