Danny is one of Danny's oldest and most used characters, originally created for Super Smash NSider Melee. He is Danny's most used character in the The Yoshi Bodyguards and most other RP stories. He is considered to be either random or serious depending on the situation at hand and always likes to mess around.

Bio
Danny Joseph Chu is a Pikachu from the Pokémon World. He's a Pikachu that is half Shadow Pokémon, half normal Pokémon. When he was mutated by Team Rocket with a beta Shadow Pokémon conversion gas, it gave him new abilities and gave him the ability to speak English. He almost always hangs out on the Pokéworld and will always help out if there's trouble. He was also a Yoshi Bodyguard member until they disbanded.
History
Early Life
Danny was born like any other Pokémon, in a Pichu styled egg. When he was 5 years old, he and his family were captured by Team Rocket, along with his unhatched brother, Pichup, and they mutated Danny and his parents with a special powerful prototype Shadow Pokémon maker, which turned them into part Shadow Pokémon and allowed them to speak English. Pichup was also mutated with a special ray that would allow him to utilize any Pokémon type if he was in contact with it, and it also gave him the ability to speak English, even when still in his egg. Luckily, he and his brother escaped from them, but their parents did not. They eventually went on a journey that I was originally gonna fan fic but forgot about it and gave up. The Yoshi Bodyguards
Eventually Danny and his brother Pichup ended up enlisted in the Yoshi Bodyguards and went and adventures with them and stuff and I'll fill in more stuff later if I can remember what Danny did.
He was around when the gate to the Shadow Dimension was opened, leading to the Shadow King's invasion of Star World. He entered the Shadow Dimension with the others so that they could create new Crystal Stars. Strangely enough, although Danny wasn't granted a new Crystal Star at the shrine, Pichup was. With the Crystal Stars they were able to destroy the Shadow King and free the Shadow Dimension from his tyrannical rule.
Danny was one of the YBs who went to a party hosted by Princess Peach in honor of them. Unfortunately, the party was interrupted by Metal Top, who used a speech Peach gave to awaken the Beanstar. It then raised Peach's Castle into the sky with a giant version of itself and used the Beanstar to become invincible and blast the YB out of the castle. To defeat Metal Top, the YBs traveled to Star Haven to get the Star Rod, but found it had been shattered. This sent them on a journey to rebuild it from the shattered fragments.
While gathering one of these fragments at the bottom of Thwomp Volcano, it was revealed to the other YBs that Danny had Shadow Pokemon powers. Later on when they had reached Metal Top's ship with the rebuilt Star Rod, Danny encountered Metal Danny and Metal Pichup for the first time. They then reached Metal Top and used the Star Rod to engage in a wish battle, finally destroying it.
Later Danny assisted in keeping back a rex that had been altered to appear more like a tyrannosaurus rex from attacking the HQ. This was the latest in a series of incidents involving a dark mist that infected and altered creatures to a darker, stronger form. The very next day some koopatrols infected by the mist captured Top and brought him to a floating castle. The YBs followed and encountered a brown batamon wearing a mask they knew as Meta Top. Inside the castle they found Top and Bowser's father, Morton Koopa Sr., whom they had thought dead several months earlier.
In the ensuing fight, Meta Top's sword broke a machine in the room and everyone was teleported away. They arrived at a dark, barren wasteland with ruin all around, and Meta Top told them it was the future. They fled the open area as an army of armored koopatrols marched at them. They fled to Vanilla Dome, where the last line of defense against Morton's dark rule of the future resided, whereas most of the planet was possessed by the dark mist. Of these resisters was a future version of Danny, having evolved into a Raichu.
They planned to sneak into Morton's castle and use his time machine to send them back in time and stop Morton before he enslaved Star World. They snuck into his castle but were attacked by his high-ranked minions. They were able to reach the time machine and make it back to the past, after which they located Morton Koopa Sr. in the present--on a meteor in the Zornell Sector. They went out there to destroy him before the future happened, learning in the process he was undead; a final assault destroyed Morton's spirit once and for all.
Pokéworld Peril
In the beginning of this story, a random Beldum in a ship suddenly bursted into YBHQ and ripped off part of Danny's fur. Eventually, the YB got a message that Yoshi researchers were kidnapped on the Pokéworld, and so they decide to head out. Eventually, on Mt. Moon, they find why the Beldum stole some of Danny's fur; Team Rocket had created a clone of Danny and infused it with shadow energy, resulting in Dark Danny. After battling him multiple times and going through many Team Rocket bases, the YBs eventually reached their final base, where Danny found and managed to purify his parents. Then they fought Shadow Ho-Oh and Dark Danny one last time, and rescued the final Yoshi researcher.
otherthing
Soon after this the YB were alerted by Anubis, their current leader, and Asmodeus III, their future leader, that they were trapped on Koholint Isle in Hylia. They arrive on the planet, learn how to reach Koholint, and sail on a wooden ship to the island. Along the way they're caught in a storm and thrown overboard; they landed on Koholint and met up with Az and Anubis.They're told to find eight instruments so that they can leave the island, but a coyote named Mermus appears trying to gather them first.
Later Mermus attacks a village, and when the YBs arrive to stop him they find he is being helped with versions of the YBs from an opposite universe. Danny fights Nadyn and is just barely able to beat him. Anubis then returned after disappearing for a time, bearing the last six instruments; Danny took hold of the Thunder Drum and played it. They then traveled up the mountain and fought against their opposite-counterparts one last time, Danny defeating Nadyn and escaping back to the real world.
Pokéworld Peril 2: Darkness
(TO BE RE-WRITTEN SOONISH) Yoshi was kidnapped AGAIN by Dark Danny and the YB went to the Pokéworld where Danny got somesort of magical sword thingy to fight Dark Danny with but Dark Danny managed to kidnap Danny and force him to absorb the Shadow Orb, which changed Danny's appearance to what it is today. Danny, with the help of the YB cheering him on, managed to gain control over the Orbs power and defeat Dark Danny. Both Yoshi and Peach were saved and the YB went back to Star World.
Pokéworld Peril 3: Not Dark Danny's Fault
(TO ALSO BE RE-WRITTEN SOONISH) Metal Danny kidnaps Yoshi and the YBs are once again forced to come to the Pokéworld to rescue him. After a series of events, Metal Danny is defeated, but before he exploded, he releases Dark Danny, whom now has the power of Phazon in his system. He plays the Azure Flute which summons a portal to Arceus's dimension and he possesses Arceus and eventually after a long battle he's forced out of Arceus's body, and manages to grab a Smash Ball. Right before he uses his Final Smash, Danny jumped into action with his beam sword and knocks the Smash Ball out of Dark Danny and takes it himself. He peforms his unnamed secondary Final Smash and slashes Dark Danny in two with his beam sword, and Dark Danny explodes. Yoshi is saved and blahblahblah you get the rest.
After the YB
Danny and his brother eventually left the YB and returned to the Pokéworld to continue living their lives, occasionally helping out other disbanded YB members on their missions and even saving other worlds on their own.

Originally made by SZM, this was supposed to be a character like Spongette to Sponge but to annoy Danny. Despite this idea just being a cruel joke, she is being used again in Pyro's Adventure 3: Pyro Unleashed and Top the Movie: Danny's Inside Story as Princess Peach's replacement(!).

I was gonna have Danny use this reguarly but I got bored with Super Princess Peach and scrapped it, however I did like Pyroshi crying on Kanden in MDY's one story.

Personality
Danny is remarked for his randomness and his anger issues. Despite this, he can be serious and heroic if the situation calls for it. He also likes to be full of himself, which sometimes causes issues with other characters.

Final Smash: Shadow End
Danny is engulfed in a orb of electrical shadow energy, similar to Pikachu's Volt Tackle, and flies around everywhere while shadow meteors rain down onto the ground.
Final Smash 2: Light Speed Meteor Slash
Danny can use this Final Smash if he is wielding his Beam Sword of Light. He dashes forward toward his foe with great speed and does this, then he does a series of light speed slashes all over his opponents body, similar to this, and ends it with a final slash straight through the foe.
Family
Danny's family is normal, like most other families. He has his father, mother, and his younger brother, Pichup.
Items
Danny's Beam Sword of Light
Danny got this ancient technology blade in Pokéworld Peril 2: Darkness. The blade was destined to destroy the darkest of evil, and that evil came to be Dark Danny. Danny used it multiple times to destroy him, and also used a new Final Smash utilizing it. Danny can combine his Pokémon attacks with it, and, despite it being a weapon to drive out evil, Danny can combine it with his shadow abilities for special attacks.
Imagine something similar to this, but more...ancient technology-like for the handle. When it's supercharged, it looks similar to this.
Residence
Danny lives in his house on the Pokéworld in Viridian Forest after the Yoshi Bodyguards disbanded, where he has all of his games and stuff.

Dark Danny

Of course, being his dark side, Danny hates Dark Danny. He wants to make sure he doesn't get the chance to rule the universe.

Danny considers Top as a good friend, even though he likes to pester him a lot. They both sometimes like to act odd and random toward each other. He met him and most of Topmonhit's characters when he joined the Yoshi Bodyguards.
Oshy

Danny also considers Oshy to be a good friend, even though Oshy likes to act serious most of the time.
Topper

Danny doesn't interact with Topper much, but he still considers him a friend due to them both being Pokémon.
Sneen

Considered a good friend, Danny liked Sneen because of his intelligence. However, Danny was devastated when Sneen died due to Dimentio tricking his dark half, and swore revenge.
Anubis
Danny respected Anubis when he was leader of the Yoshi Bodyguards.
Asmodeus III
At first, Danny was annoyed by Az when he kept saying stuff to him that escapes me at the moment, but soon began to respect him.
Chibi

Although considered a friend, Danny doesn't like Chibi very much due to her attitude, especially when she didn't care when Sneen died.
Dr. Pikachu
Being another Pikachu, Danny and Dr. P get along well. They've also combined their electricity to help out in different situations.

I can't remember much of Danny's interaction with Mack, so eh.

Despite P.B. being serious most of the time, Danny considers him a good friend.

Danny hasn't interacted with Sunset much, but still considers him a friend.

In the early days, Pyro used to annoy Danny by constantly calling him a kitty or fat, but now they usually get along. Usually.
Sneezier

Danny and Sneezier usually don't get along much since Danny keeps insulting his inventions, but still considers him a friend and has helped him from time to time.
Subsourian the Dark

Sub is almost always annoyed by Danny in one way or another, usually Danny calling him Quizno. Despite this, Danny still has some respect for Sub.
Trivia
- Danny was originally just a normal colored Pikachu until constant .png saved images somehow darkened his fur.
- Danny originally flew around using his Shadow powers until Pokémon Platinum came out and most electric types could learn Magnet Rise, so he uses that from now on.
- Danny's current look is inspired by a Pokémon anime episode where Pikachu was possessed by Groudon.
- In Topmonhit's Homestar Runner remakes with our characters, Danny is Strong Bad and Yoshichu is The Cheat.
