Story

Part 25-1: That’s Your Horoscope For Today!

At Gisho Castle, Topper was about to read his horoscope in the newspaper when Top yanked it from him and began a musical number about horoscopes, where he stated everyone's horoscope until Topper kicked him through the ceiling. Topper then read his horoscope, which said that he would "be met with a blast from your past, leading to new connections." Just then, there was a knocking at the front door, and Topper went to answer it, seeing that it was his brother, Opt.

Topper began trying to attack him, but Opt stopped him, and everyone looked outside. Opt explained that he was there to get help, stating there was an evil force on Pokeworld trying to conquer it. Opt gave a sincere apology to Topper, and revealed the force was what killed their parents. Topper agreed to help out, and Top and Oshy decided to come too.

Part 25-2: Welcome to Pismo Beach!

Team TOT, Opt, Scorch and Tron arrived at Rock Tunnel, and went inside; inside, something burst up under Top, and Tigarun came out of the ground, followed by Danny. Apparently, they were going to Pismo Beach; Danny saw Opt and recognized him from Pokemon Realgar, but they explained they were working with Opt to fight against an evil force. Soon after they ran into the future Sera, who was doing some type of weird documentary or something.

Top screamed, and they realized he was screaming at a giant Bastiodon head-like plate that was moving towards them; it slammed into them, knocking them into a wall. Danny tried to attack it, but his attack bounced off. Topper tried to attack it, but was slammed away; the same thing happened to Opt. Finally, Tron used his magnet powers to pull it off the mechanism it was on, and the plate slammed into him, smashing them both through a wall, although it did stop the giant plate.

Part 25-3: Rock Tunnel Laboratory

Suddenly Topmonhit remembered PB and Sunset were there. All along. Anyway, they soon came to a fork on the road, and Opt said they both lead to the villain's lair. Top, Tigarun and Opt went one way, and the others went the other way. Eventually the larger group came to a cave room filled with "extremely advanced and scientific machines. There were computers, a chemistry table with various chemicals in test tubes, maps of the surrounding solar system, of the planet, and of differing regions. There were also two bookcases filled with all sorts of books. There was also a poster of the world, which was circled in yellow paint."

In the room, Danny noticed a test tube filled with shadow energy, and suspected it to be a Team Rocket base. Tron, however, found a poster of a Team Rocket R that was crossed out with some darts stuck in it. Sunset found some plans for eradicating Team Rocket, but also some for taking over the world. Just then, Medulla entered, asking what they were doing there. They asked what she was doing there, but before they got an answer, Tigarun was thrown into the room, smashing into. Top came after, and Opt flew in, revealing he had tricked them to get a device from Medulla: Headphones. Medulla said they were invented to control Pokemon so they'd turn on the humans, but it never worked; she then revealed she was there trying to take over the world.

Part 25-4: Opt's Climax

As they ran out to confront Opt, Medulla explained she had good intentions, wanting to rule Pokeworld to make it a better place. They didn't believe her, but didn't have time to care; when they came outside, they found Opt. Medulla said that it had never worked, but Opt said he had figured out how to make it work: Connect it with a Master Ball. Opt began to activate it, when he heard a robotic voice in his head, and the headphones exploded.

No one was sure what had happened, but Opt attacked Topper, beating him up with new moves. Opt said things would end differently, but Oshy said that was because they'd be there too, and joined the fight against Opt. Eventually, Opt was defeated, and escaped by digging away. Scorch realized Medulla was gone, and they saw a note on the ground from Medulla. She had realized they would never believe she was working for the better good, and so she had already escaped. Her lab then exploded. Everyone was ready to go when beeping occured near Danny and Tron.

Part 25-5: Return to Number Two

Danny and Tron realized it was their Platinum Shrooms, and when Danny took his out, a hologram of Relvia appeared. She spoke that Regirock, Regice and Registeel were attacking Cindek, and that help was needed. Swal was there too, trying to eat Regirock. They quickly left for Cindek to help, and when they landed in Cetids City, Relvia greeted them and Danny was hit with Spe, who was thrown by Regirock. Gifforoffig was there as well, fighting Regirock, while Rob was just staring ahead.

Tron asked where Dingle went, and Spe said she disappeared. There was a short scene of the future, where Dingle was narrating the events at Yoki Yoki while Leevi caused chaos and destruction. Back in the present, Rob fell on Danny. They began to fight against Regirock, but noticed it had a helmet on its head; Spe said that must be controlling it, so they should aim for the helmet.

Part 25-6: A Realgar Repeat

Relvia attempted to distract Regirock while others went for the helmet, but Regirock continued attacking everyone. It sent Swal flying into the air, and just when Danny finally got Rob off of him, Swal fell on him. Angry, Danny went into overkill mode and blasted Regirock, destroying the helmet. They then left for Aurigids City, the location of Regice, where Lucky and Iris were, fighting it. The others landed, they all said hi, and then fought Regice. The leader of the Aurigids gym, Flear, showed up to help, and Tron finished off the helmet with Zap Cannon, disabling it. Finally, Registeel was at Phoenicids City.

Part 25-7: Three for Regi

At Phoenicids City, they were hit by a sneak attack from Registeel (however it sneaks), but saw that Rose was fighting against it, surprisingly. Cody, Cheri and Oran showed up to help out, as well. Relvia teleported over to Rose to suggest she use Sunny Day, and though Rose wanted no suggestions, she eventually gave in. With that, they began to use more fire attacks on Registeel, but eventually it prepared to use Explosion, which could wipe out the whole city.

Out of nowhere Topper showed up, being carried by Wing Top in the air, and was thrown at Registeel, using multiple attacks on the helmet to destroy it completely. Registeel then left, going back to its cave. Topper was confused at no super final boss, but either way, they all returned to their ships and began to leave the planet...

Part 25-8: The Problem with Pichu

Top's Star Ship, the Danny Cruiser, and the Nightwind IV began to fly away from Pokeworld when Team TOT realized they were getting behind of the others. Top's Star Ship began smoking, and broke down. It seemed like they were stuck in space, but because they were still close enough to Pokeworld, the ship began falling towards the surface. Seeing this, everyone began to go back to get them. On the surface, Team TOT survived the impact, but the star ship was totaled.

Team TOT saw some Pichu gathering around them, and they greeted them. They had landed at a civilization known as Machu Pichu, and had never gotten outsiders before. They still greeted them well, provided they didn't reveal their existance to the outside world. When the Danny Cruiser came down, however, the Pichu all panicked and ran away. Everyone got out to help Team TOT, but all the Pichu came out in battle armor and without warning attacked Danny, tying him up.

Part 25-9: At Once, Everyone Said, “Oh.”

They heard a squeaky voice speak up, and saw Hey You at a fruit stand he had set up at Machu Pichu. Hey You explained the Pichu are usually peaceful, but for some reason they hate Pikachu and Raichu, their evolved forms. The Pichu always tie the Pikachu up and sacrifice it to their Pichu gourd... a gourd shaped like a Pichu head. That fails, so they throw it into their volcano... which is inactive. Next, they tie it to a cement block and toss it into their lake... which was about two decimeters deep.

So then they decide to feed it to their pet Garchomp... but the Garchomp is a vegetarian. So finally, they decide to sacrifice it to their Pichu god... which actually is a giant Pichu. They finally decided to probably go help them, and Top ate Hey You's fruit stand so he'd help. The giant Pichu came to life, and Danny destroyed the metal rod he was on, but the giant Pichu slammed him into a building.

Part 25-10: A Godly Pichu

Danny fought against the Pichu God, but began getting pummeled, so PB went in to help. The Pichu realized they were attacking their god, so they had the god attack them all. After enough hits, the Pichu god mutated into gaining longer arms, long claws, its ears became tentacles, its feet became pincers, and it tore its tail off, forming it into a weapon. It then slammed Topper through the air, across the area.

As the others continued to fight, Topper began to get up when something purple grabbed his foot and dragged him away. The others continued fighting the Pichu God, and eventually a team attack damaged it enough for it to explode. Machu Pichu began to fall apart, and all the Pichu ran away, their civilization destroyed. The entire area became just a grassy wasteland... suddenly, Opt came out of hiding!

Part 25-11: Brobot T-Type

Opt revealed his plan was not over yet, despite a minor setback, and was ready to defeat them all. He began to attack them, while they all retaliated with their own attacks. Opt gave it his all, but was damaged heavily by a team attack between Tigarun, Scorch and Tron. Just then, however, Danny was attacked by some rockets from behind, and a robot Hitmontop came out, which Opt introduced as Metal Topper. Opt explained that if Topper wasn't going to join him, he would construct a new brother, and together they would spread chaos, destruction and turmoil across the land, just like he was given all his life. The two sides then began to fight.

Part 25-12: Final One-On-One

Top and Oshy began to fight against Metal Topper, but were pulled away when Oshy grabbed it with his tongue. The others fought against Opt, dealing him damage, but Opt and Metal Topper kept fighting until something smashed into Opt, knocking him into Metal Topper. It was Topper, who had returned from wherever; Opt was confused as to how he was there, but Topper explained that he was really, really unlikable. Opt decided for the two of them to have one final one-on-one battle, right there. Topper agreed, and the two began to fight.

Topper and Opt attacked each other with everything they had until one final attack damaged them both, knocking them both to the ground. Opt was the first to wake up, his robotic arm blasted apart, but began to prop himself up with his other. Topper then woke up, and pushed himself up with both arms, and Opt's remaining arm gave way, and he fell to the ground, having lost again. He was enraged, but noticed a beeping sound, and teleported away. Topper realized that everyone had disappeared, and he was alone.

Part 25-13: It's the Same Ol' Story

Everyone was unconscious, shrouded in darkness; Top, however, saw a single Celestial Architect. It slapped Top to wake him up, and he saw he and the others were in cages in a cave, with Metal Topper watching them. As everyone began to wake up, Metal Topper said it had hit them with sleep powder bombs. Opt came in, his robotic arm repaired, but Metal Topper revealed its intention to betray Opt, destroyed Opt's right foot, and threw him out.

Back at Machu Pichu, Topper woke up, and remembered everyone was gone. He began to go look for them, but tripped over something in a bush: Opt. Opt was bruised and dented up, and explained that Metal Topper had betrayed him. It had kidnapped Topper's friends (and Danny), so Topper figured they had to work together to defeaet it, and though he didn't want to, agreed (provided he could be Mario).

Part 25-14: Once a Brother, Always a Pain! (A-BIT-LARGER-THAN-NORMAL-BUT-NOT-QUITE-SUPERSIZED-PART)

At Metal Topper's hideout, Metal Topper sat watching the prisoners, seeming to wait for something. When a door opened, they had come: Topper and Opt. The two began fighting against Metal Topper, but when Topper had take enough damage, Opt betrayed Topper once again, revealing that his plan was to wear Topper out until he could kill him once and for all. Just before he attacked Topper, however, an Iron Tail slammed into him and an Arbok came in, who was introduced as Memery.

Opt and Metal Topper began to attack them, but during the fight some of the cages broke open and the others came out to help. Oshy found the keys to the other cages, while PB found his staff at Tigarun's sword. Danny destroyed Metal Topper, and Memery grabbed Opt before he could escape. He was brought to a prisoner ship, where he was flown off the planet and brought to the icy prison planet, Torres. Everyone else began leaving, but Topper said there was something he had to do, and eventually only Top and Oshy were left, waiting for Topper.

A few hours passed, and he came back, ready to go. He said he was sayin goodbye, and Top, ready to go, jumped in. As they flew off, Topper sang about how Opt was acting nice at first, but then betrayed them; he then continued, singing that despite this, he was glad they came, as he found the love he seeked. Down below, on the planet, Memery watched the star ship fly off, and looked at what she was holding in her coils: An egg.

Part 25-S

Sub pretty much revealed the password, but you still have to figure it out and read the part to know what goes on here. >} The part itself occurs between Part 25-10 and 25-11.

But as usual Sub ruins everything

Trivia

  • This is the first appearance of Opt since Pokemon Realgar.
  • This is the first appearance of Medulla.
  • This story hints at the eventual conceptualization of Aob.
  • The song Top sings at the beginning of the story is based on "That's Your Horoscope for Today" by Weird Al.
  • Machu Pichu is semi-based off the real-world location Machu Picchu.
  • This is the only Team TOT Trilogy story not a part of a saga.
  • Although Top's Star Ship is totaled when they crash, it later appears in working condition.
  • Memery's appearance was not very well explained in the story. Opt had hired her to keep Topper busy until he could imprison his friends, but ended up taking a liking to Topper and let him go, betrayin Opt in the process. When Opt tried to get Topper to help him defeat Metal Topper, Topper called for Memery to stand by just in case, which was lucky, as she came in just before Opt killed Topper.
  • The song Topper sings at the end is based on a wishing song Gonzo sings in The Muppet Show.
