-Danny, The Oddtastic Adventure (Comic 2: The Bowser Bunch!)
The Oddtastic Adventure is the final comic series Topmonhit made. It was never finished, as comicing became too difficult for Topmonhit. It has a very bizarre plot with several plot twists, and twice the plot shifts into a completely different direction. There was another story, Grodus Rising, that is about events going on during the Oddtastic Adventure, but having less to do with it directly.

Story
Act 1: Mario
After the Topmonhit's Comics Theme Song, it was revealed some unknown characters were watching it on a screen. One of them yelled for them to stop playing it and to begin spying on Mario, so they began to. They were about to land when a Toad appeared, telling Mario that Bowser had kidnapped Peach again. The characters watching Mario decided to use this to their advantage.
As Mario began heading to Bowser's Castle, Danny and Super appeared, demanding to go with him. A random koopa shell hit Mario, and inside was a note from Bowser, explaining his plan; his castle was locked by five keys that were scattered throughout five identical castles, and the only way to get in was to get the five keys. Thus, Mario, Danny and Super went off to find them. Meanwhile, Bowser was having a meeting with his minions. Bowser said he sent Mario a letter so that they would have five attempts to defeat him, and told the group closest to where Mario would be to get ready.
When Mario, Danny and Super arrived at the castle, goop was scattered all about, and Mario slipped on it into the main area. Danny and Super got left behind until Super found a plug under the lava. Inside the main area, Mario found Tutankoopa and Petey Piranha, who were confident they could win since Mario's partners were gone until Danny and Super managed to get in. Pyro randomly appeared as well, and they began to battle. In the end, Tutankoopa and Petey Piranha were defeated, and they obtained the first key. Later, in a meeting, Bowser yelled at them for being incompetent. The other minions began to argue, but Bowser told them to shut up.
When Team Mario arrived in the second castle, they found Bowser inside! They quickly attempted to attack, but it revealed to be a robot with a Smart Bomb inside, and it exploded, damaging everyone. The Koopa Bros. then appeared and attacked them with their Super Spinning Attack. Super used an egg bomb to knock them apart, and a 4-on-4 fight began. Danny was defeated with a double shell spin; eventually they were defeated, though, and got the second key.
When they arrived at the third castle, Sub appeared, saying he had been waiting for them for five comics. They then went into the castle, and split up to find Kamek and Kammy! Kamek absorbed Super with his wand, then began to chase after Mario. Sub was able to defeat Kamek, then Pyro defeated Kammy and found the key. Bowser told everyone that was defeated thus far was on probation, leaving only two castles left.
In the fourth castle, Sally randomly appeared. They then went into the castel and encountered Ludwig, Morton, Roy and Larry. They split up and began fighting, during which Pyro was defeated. They were able to win, though, and get the 4th key, leaving only one left.
Outside the 5th castle, Team Mario was waiting for the next guest star. The Cloud told them to just go on and it'd take care of everything. Inside the castle, Bowser Jr., Iggy, Lemmy and Wendy appeared; when Team Mario got in battle poses, the Koopalings retreated. They were confused until a massive robot appeared! Although they had no way to defeat it, suddenly something crashed into the castle and Card Hero appeared! ...he splatted against the robot. Although hope still seemed to be gone, Card Hero found a self-destruct button and the robot blew up. They began to fight the Koopalings, Sub being defeated by a giant bowling ball, but in the end the Koopalings were defeated and they obtained the final key.
Bowser was very angry at Mario's success, but still had a backup plan. When Mario arrived in the castle, he found Bowser to be a hologram and a voice proclaimed that the castle self-destruct had been activated! Mario, Sally and Card Hero began to run for it while Bowser and his troops began to leave in the Koopa Cruiser. Team Mario attempted to jump onto the cruiser, but missed and splatted to the ground. The castle then exploded, supposedly killing Team Mario. With that, Bowser celebrated his victory until something rocked the cruiser and Mario, Sally and Card Hero appeared! It turned out they flew in on Card Hero's Sand Bird, so Bowser prepared to fight them... after making sure Mario would take the blame for the exploding castle so he could get insurance money.
Danny and Super returned for the fight, and Sally was defeated during it. Ironically, after Bowser said his weight was useful for shockwave attacks, the floor under him cracked and then gave way, causing him to fall below. They were blocked by a bunch of Koopatrols from escaping, though, and Bowser came back up. Suddenly the ship began shaking and outside it was being attacked by a ship much, much, much larger. The cruiser began shaking more and more until it suddenly exploded, sending everyone flying away except Mario and Peach, who were abducted by the ship! Meanwhile, Luigi was in the Mario Bros.'s House, looking for a stuffed yoshi doll, when Bowser suddenly crashed through! A Toad came in, saying that the Koopa Cruiser blew up, and Luigi realized Mario was in trouble, so he went off to save him.
Meanwhile, in something completely unrelated, four out of five doctors agreed Releetocin would cure anything, so says the commercials. According to Dr. Mario, however, it would cause mind control. His credibility plunged down, which angered Chibi, so she randomly enlisted Black Kirby to help her prove Dr. Mario right. Inside the Releetocin building, Kooptopher was looking for the pills when Chibi and BK came in. Before they began to fight, a cage came down and trapped them.
Act 2: Luigi & Yoshi
When Luigi arrived in Toad Town, ready to save Mario, he realized he didn't know what to do. Just then, Yoshi appeared, saying that because he hasn't appeared in the comics very much, Topmonhit wants him to appear. Just then, Super and Danny crashed into Luigi from above, and explained what had happened. Apparently the ship headed west, so they began to go west. Meanwhile, on the ship, Grodus and Lord Crump were revealed. They were working with someone, though, but that was a secret. Whoever they were, though, they knew who Luigi was, so Grodus sent Lord Crump to intercept Luigi.
The X-Nauts appared to attack Team Luigi/Yoshi, and during the fight Pyro returned. The X-Nauts were defeated, though, and Lord Crump reported to Grodus. Grouds said modifications to Crump's Magnus had been finished, and was sending it. Grodus then said after Crump left that he had lost all confidence in him, though.
Then came the 250th comic. Lord Crump was prepared to defeat Luigi with the Magnus von Grapple 5.0, but suddenly there was static and Eldred appeared! He began to tell everyone they should stop reading the comics because they were weird, stupid and nonsensical. His speech took up the whole time of the comic, and in the end the Magnus exploded, sending him and Team Luigi/Yoshi flyin everywhere.
Meanwhile, in the X-Naut Ship, Peach began speaking with the computer of the base, TECII. Although it seemed TECII had gotten the same problem as the original TEC, it was revealed to be a trick by Grodus to learn more about Luigi. It turned out it was pointless, though, as Grodus had set a time bomb inside Magnus 5.0, which would not only blow up Luigi, but get rid of Crump as well. Meanwhile, in the Mario Bros.'s House, Popple came in, looking to have his revenge! Suddenly Bowser began to come to...
Act 3: Top & Oshy
Suddenly Top appeared! He and Oshy were the stars of the next act, but began to argue until Whacko stopped them. Sneezier then appeared and they found some Shroobs nearby! Apparently they were working with the X-Nauts, but the Shroobs pulled out some pudding which formed the Chocolate Pudding Monster.
During the Chocolate Pudding Monster fight, Sneezier's mechs exploded due to malfunctioning from pudding, then was destroyed by Stinkoman, who had randomly appeared and defeated the pudding monster.
Meanwhile, in Peach's Castle Sewers, the Shroobs were looking at the time machine. Suddenly another Shroob came up holding the Elder Princess Shroob in Mushroom form! They laughed, and headed off. Meanwhile, Chibi and BK were still caged when they heard a clang and saw Dr. Mario in a cage as well! Meanwhile again, Top and Oshy were having trouble finding Yoshi... until they saw him nearby. He was across a small pit of lava, but Lava Piranha came up. It had a device on its head, and they suspected it was being controlled by the Shroobs; suddenly it spoke the intro dialogue from Zero Wing then the comic ended forever.
Closing Letter
After Comic 17, Topmonhit could not bring himself to continue making comics, so he made a speech explaining the rest of the story.

Oveeeeeeeer!
...well, I had a good run I guess. I topped 250. I doubt very few others have managed to do that, whether a good or bad comic.
You see, I have figured out that I just can not go on, as I said. I still like sprite comics, but me making them? I can't keep doing it. I I'm afraid I must end my sprite-comicing.
But what about The Oddtastic Adventure?
I shall now reveal the rest of the story...
- opens a comic book page and begins reading from it* *or something*
Top and Oshy battle against Lava Piranha, defeating it, and it goes back into the lava. The lava magically disappears, and Yoshi is saved. But where is Luigi? Meanwhile, on the X-Naut/Shroob ship, the Shroobs have returned with the Princhess Shroob Mushroom. However, Luigi, who had landed nearby the ship, has snuck on board. He shows up where Grodus and the Shroobs are, but Grodus says he's too late... and Mario is fed Princess Shroob! Mario becomes shroobified and stuff, and Luigi must battle against Grodus and Shrario. Luigi is, against some odds, defeat them, however, and save Mario. Peach, too. That's when Top, Oshy and Yoshi run in... late to the battle, though. Suddenly the entire ship begins to shake!
And that ends act 3 of the series. I was originally going to keep making the series, then quit here and explain the rest of the story, then I'd decide whether I'd make the next series or not but not make it canon. I've decided not to. So here's act 4, the biggest part, and kind of a continuation of X-Chaos.
So anyway, suddenly there would be an explosion and... Dr. Eggman would come crashing in with some big machine! Everyone guessed him. It's too bad I can't keep going--I have absolutely no other plans with Eggman, and I like him. Oh well.

Eggman demands to know where the emerald on Star World is. See, Sub, I had a plan for that all along! Top accidently reveals it's at his house, so Eggman leaves after setting a time bomb to destroy the ship. Top and Oshy, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Peach, Grodus and the X-Nauts, and the Shroobs manage to escape. Princess Shroob, however, is unable to, and is sent blasting off into space from the explosion... off far away... to a star-shaped planet... onto a mountain of food... that Kirby's eating. SZM, what's wrong with you? You were the only one wrong! This would have put you in last!

At this point, it gets more or less a bit all over the place, so I'll just go one step at a time. Eggman gets to Top's house and steals the emerald, so Top is sad and stops being a main character. Peach goes back to the castle and Mario, Luigi and Yoshi go off to another planet to locate an emerald. Meanwhile, Grodus, with a new ship, blasts off into space as well to find some emeralds of his own. His destination? Popstar. Meanwhile, at Popstar, Kirby sees Princess Shroob and decides to eat her, becoming Shroobified. He begins to wreak havoc until Gooey shows up... and the KDL3 Animal friends: Rick, Kine, Coo, Pitch, Chuchu, and Nago! Wow. No one guessed the animal friends. And only Chibi guessed Gooey.

So Gooey and the animal friends have to battle Kirby and defeat him, unshroobifying him. No one knows what happened to Princess Shroob. Meanwhile, at Dedede's Castle, Dedede has found a glowing gem that he plans to make into a fancy ring or something. Suddenly there's a crash as a giant ship is attacking the castle... Grodus' ship! It lands, and Grodus heads into the castle. Meanwhile, also exiting the ship is... POPPLE AND BOWSER AS ROOKIE! Yes, they had snuck onto the ship earlier apparently, and they head off to find something valuable! They somehow get to the Fountain of Dreams, and Popple is about to steal the Star Rod when Meta Knight and Dr. Pikachu (see, he shows up!) stop them! Aw, only MDY didn't guess him.

Popple and Rookie are defeated and run away. Meta Knight comments that Dr. P was right about there coming great evil, but Dr. P says that wasn't what he meant. Meanwhile, Chibi, BK and Dr. Mario are sitting around when they hear a slam--the people who made the Releetocin product are back. Chibi quickly brings up that it takes control of minds, but Dr. Mario begins to calm her, saying he made it up because it was taking the profits from his Megavitamins... until the creater of the product lets out an all-too-familliar laugh and the 2 of them reveal to be Cackletta and Fawful! Good. All 3 of you guessed Cackletta, Fawful and Grunty. That shows you're paying attention.

Cackletta reveals Dr. Mario's fake claim was in fact true, and it was possible with the Chaos Emerald they found on Rareworld! As they spoke, Grunty was collecting yet another one at Hylia (LOZ world). And speaking of which, Grunty was returning from there, heading over Popstar. On Popstar, Grodus and Dedede finally go into battle. Grodus easily defeats Dedede and gets the emerald, then uses its power to suck Dedede into his staff! This is when he detects another emerald nearby, on Grunty's ship, so he hurries to his and goes off to attack it. Popple and Rookie also head in just in time. And so, Grodus attacks Grunty and gets on board... but before a battle can start, Popple and Rookie jump on too! So it's a 3-way battle (until Grunty leaves due to lacking battle sprites, but then Bowser regains his memory and so it really IS a 3-way battle), but Grodus cheats by filling the area with dark shadow so Bowser and Popple can't see anything, and so Grodus defeats them and sucks them into the staff (along with Grunty). He realizes that sucking them into his staff allows him to use their powers. Still skipping around, we find ourselves on the Pokeworld, where Mario, Luigi and Yoshi are looking around the Tin Tower in Ecruteak City. Suddenly something appears... Entei, Raikou and Suicune! Ho-Oh also appears, talking about evils approaching and blah blah and gives them the emerald. Ho-Oh then asks if, before they leave the planet, they could stop by the Orange Islands and check up on Lugia, Articuno, Zapdus and Moltres. He has a suspicion that Lugia and Articuno have been dating, which is strictly against the code of law, but then Oshy stops this from going any further. Top complains they didn't get to the balloon Lugia joke. I don't know if anyone remembers, but those were 2 things that Spencer apparently found on the internet at some places, and so... REFERENCE! So... oh, wait, no one guessed those guys. Meanies.

Meanwhile, on Mobius, Sonic is runnin', runnin', runnin' along until he finds himself in a cave with a black chest. It's a Curse Box, and for some reason it curses him with the knowledge of the events in the series so far. Yeah. I don't get it either. At this point, I'd go ahead and mention Tails and Knuckles are showing up later, which is the last of the characters.

Thus, SZM somehow came in last and MDY was 1st. Obviously now it doesn't matter one bit. Back on Star World, Cackletta and Fawful are about to initiate the mind-control portion of the Releetocin when there's a knock on the door. It's Eggman, demanding their Chaos Emerald. They refuse, and a battle almost starts but Grodus shows up and it's a 3-way battle. In the end, Grodus wins AGAIN and sucks up Cackletta, Fawful and Eggman, and now with 5 emeralds and multiple people sucked up, Mario, Luigi and Yoshi come. Grodus is easily able to defeat them and get the 6th emerald. Where's the 7th? Nowhere. Bad planning left one at the Metroidlands. And so, Grodus is about to gain... near-ultimate power when suddenly it's a giant character attack! Mario, Luigi and Yoshi are healed magically; Peach shows up; Tutankoopa, Petey Piranha, the Koopa Bros., Kammy, Kamek, the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. show up to save Bowser; the Shroobs show up to battle; Dr. Mario enters the battle, Chibi and BK enter the battle too; Top and Oshy are there; Kirby, Gooey, Rick, Kine, Coo, Pitch, Chuchu and Nago come after being told what was going on by Meta Knight and Dr. P, who are also there; and I'd have been nice enough to have the other guest stars in this battle too. So it's a huge battle. Not everyone would have battled at the same time, of course. In the end, despite all their efforts, Grodus still won't go down... until Sonic, Tails and Knuckles arrive. So what, you might ask? After a bit longer, Tails is able to use an emerald teleporter to teleport the emeralds away. Then it's a free-for-all as everyone blasts Grodus to kingdom come! Everyone is saved, and it's a happy ending. THE END!

The final scene would show Grodus and the X-Nauts in a technological room. Grodus is once again just a head, but what appears to be a body is in some sort of chamber. Of note is that Lord Crump is nowhere to be found.

Trivia
- Jr. Troopa was originally planned to appear with the Koopa Bros., but there were no adequate sprites for him to appear.
- Kamek absorbing Super and using his powers is a reference to Mushroom Kingdom 1nsanity by MarioMK1, where Kamek did the same thing with other characters.
- Topmonhit realizes now that a lot of the final act of the story would be near-impossible due to the lack of a lot of sprites.
Connections to Other Stories
- The Chaos Emeralds had been scattered across planets in X-Chaos, which had Whirl scatter them to prevent Dr. Eggman, the X-Nauts or Slike from obtaining them.
- Grodus Rising follows the story of The Oddtastic Adventure, but tells it from the point of the X-Nauts.
- Lord Crump's last blunder was in The Blackest Days, where he failed to take control of Chronis. This was Crump's last chance, according to Grodus.
- Dark Top reads a newspaper article about this story in The Top Plot for Takeover.
