Dimentio is a major antagonist from Super Paper Mario and the real villain of the game. Although he begins as a minion of Count Bleck, he later reveals to be against him, and in the end attempts to destroy all worlds to make himself king. He is skilled and powerful in magic, with many abilities, including teleportation, duplication, invsibility, and some that are more dangerous, such as creating boxes that he can fill with explosions. He also has his own dimension, Dimension D.

Escape from the Underwhere
Dimentio remained in the Underwhere for about a year, stripped of his power, but remaining in wait for his next opportunity. It would come when Dark Sneen took control of the Underwhere when Sneen died; Dimentio used this opportunity to help Dark Sneen in his plan to freeze it over, and Dark Sneen gave Dimentio some of his powers back. Dark Sneen also promised Dimentio he would return him to the realm of the living once his plan had come to fruition. Dimentio wanted revenge on the legendary heroes Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser, however, and he wanted to take over their planet, Star World.
In order to prevent Dark Sneen from freezin Star World and killing everyone, thereby sending them to the Underwhere, Dimentio secretly enlisted the aid of The Yoshi Bodyguards--unbeknownst to them. Dimentio used the magical power he currently had to send an explosion to the realm of the living, destroying the Yoshi Bodyguards HQ and killing all the YBs inside. This sent them to the Underwhere, where they could defeat Dark Sneen--but Dimentio needed his full powers back first, and so he continued to help Dark Sneen.
First, Dimentio stalled the YB in the Underwhere Road by powering up the Underchomp; he then fought them himself in Overthere Stair using the power of apples. Dimentio wouldn't return until the YB were deep in the Underwhere, where Dimentio did a bit of overkill by sending a monster from another dimension, King Ghidorah, after them. Dimentio still planned for them to defeat it, however; he simply needed them to be distracted long enough for Dark Sneen to give Dimentio all his powers back and grant him permission to leave the Underwhere.
While Dark Sneen wasn't looking, however, Dimentio replaced the source of his powers--the Ice Heart--with a fake, which would cause Dark Sneen to die when he attempted to use it with Project S, a device that requires a powerful source of energy or it would drain the user of energy. Knowing that Dark Sneen would be defeated, Dimentio returned to the realm of the living.
A Top Plot for Takeover
Dimentio made his way around Star World, attempting to come up with a new plan, when he overheard Dark Top speaking with Bowser at the Koopa Kingdom about a grand plan he had. Dimentio wanted in on this, but although Dark Top refused at first, he realized he could use Dimentio and agreed. Dark Top's plan was to get Popworld, the planet he currently ruled, to form an alliance with Star World, but then make Popworld dislike Star World so he could start a war, fake his death, and take over Star World by surprise.
Dark Top managed to obtain a robot of Top, Metal Top, and reprogrammed it to obey him. He sent it to kill the former ruler of Popworld, Blork, but to register Light Top and the others as allies. Dimentio then came in and scrambled Metal Top's circuits to see them as enemies, thereby directing them away from Dark Top. This scrambling also caused a wave of energy that disabled all machinery on the planet, which was how Dark Top got Popworld to dislike Star World: By blaming it on them. A war began, and Dimentio stole all of Star World's nukes so they were unable to use them. After Dark Top faked his death, ending the war, Dimentio entered the race for the new ruler of Popworld, though in disguise as Meson.
After forging a large number of votes (which Subsourian the Dark did for the other side as well), Dimentio won and trapped most of the high-ranking people on the planet, including Subsourian (who was there to oversee the election) in the presidential castle and revealed himself to be Dimentio. Sub called for backup from Star World, leading the way for Dark Top and Bowser to attack The Mushroom Kingdom. Dimentio threw the fight once the others had arrived, and showed up again when Dark Top was explaining his grand scheme to their kidnapees (those who had gone to fight Dimentio at Popworld).
Dimentio left to elsewhere in Peach's Castle, where he attacked Bowser Jr., Kamek and Kammy, stealing Kamek and Kammy's wands. He then placed Bowser and Light Top (who had been frozen earlier) in compact magic shields, and Dark Top revealed he had planned to betray Bowser. He flew off in a Metal Top mech to take over Bowser's castle, but then Dimentio revealed his intention to kill Light Top, thereby killing Dark Top and taking it all for himself. He teleported in one of the nukes he stole, but then was hit by ice bullets from Chills Pacone's boys. Although he was frozen, Dimentio somehow managed to escape and disappear once more.

Nintendo Anecdote 3: Not Really a Trilogy
Dimentio appeared in his own dimension, Dimension D, where he held a jiggy. Although Tron first appeared, he had to leave, and Danny and AFLAC later came instead. Yttik then appeared as well; eventually, Dimentio was defeated, relinquishing his jiggy, but stated that the world was not was it seemed, hinting at the fact the entire world was simply a game board inside The Cloud being played by Topmonhit and AFLAC, as was revealed in the end.
Trivia
- There is a character in The 1576 Kingdom Novel named Insemento who is very similar to Dimentio, although he doesn't betray the main villain in the end.
- There is a character of Topmonhit's named Accordiono who has a similar style to Dimentio, but is much less powerful.
- Litera, when in his original, Cosmic Subsourian form, is slightly based off of Dimentio, having similar personalities and eye styles.
- There was a planned comic series with Dimentio as the main villain, but because Topmonhit quit comics and the series heavily rooted in sprites, it was never done.
