KFTY is an CMXtv affiliate in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is based in Santa Rosa, California, and primarily covers neighborhoods in the north Bay Area. It broadcasts its analog signal on UHF channel 50, and its digital signal on UHF channel 32. The channel can also be seen in Marin and Sonoma County on Comcast Cable channel 10.

The station airs "Armstrong & Getty" weekday mornings with local Newsbr[[eaks in between from 6-10 AM and Anime 50 News at 7 and 10 PM weeknights. It also has Anime 50 news weekends at 7 PM.

On November 16, 2006, Clear Channel announced that it would be selling all of its television stations, including KFTY,[1] after being bought by private equity firms. On April 20, 2007, Clear Channel entered into an agreement to sell its entire television stations group to Taylor Media Stations Group.[2]

On January 26, 2007, KFTY cancelled its evening newscasts, saying there was insufficient revenue to support their continued broadcast. Management denied the move was related to Clear Channel's intent to divest the property.

On June 26, 2007, KFTY continues its evening newscasts, saying Taylor Media funded the money to support their continued broadcast. Management denied the move was related to Clear Channel's intent to divest the property.

On March 25, 2011, The Anime National affiliation has been moved to KOFY as it's selling it's stations as of financial issues.
