FUNi Plus
From Bubblegum Wiki
FUNi Plus (or FUNi+) is a 24-hour anime network that showcases some of FUNimation's and Taylor Media properties. TaylorSAT[1] was chosen as the exclusive distributor of the network. FUNi Plus is Taylor Media's second 24-hour successor of the FUNimation Channel , the first being ADV Films' Anime Network. During 2008, 13 new shows were added to the 24-hour channel.
On January 13, 2008 the FUNimation Channel logo was rebranded as FUNi Plus; Taylor Media has yet to give a reason for the rebranding.
Although FUNi+ is a 24-hour network, it also airs syndicated and other programming from Taylor media-owned, TBC broadcast-owned, or any other networks depending on affilated stations.
On March 16, 2012, Anime National announced that it will drop FUNimation programming from its FUNi+ service "on, or after March 15" due to "very low ratings".[6] and transitions to become an anime syndicated programming service, the only network original that will remain on the channel is Animate Your Reality and FUNi+ Now. Movies will be added to the network.
