WHCQ-LP is a low power television station licensed to Cleveland, Mississippi which broadcasts on channel 8. WHCQ's programming can also be seen in Webb, Mississippi on WEBU-LP channel 11 and in Clarksdale, Mississippi on WPRQ-LP channel 12.
WHCQ is affiliated with the My Network TV. Previously, it was a full-time affiliate of ION Television and America One and then The CW. The station maintains a secondary affiliation with NBC to fill in for WHCQ's timeslots during the daytime and overnight. The station is also carried on most of the area's cable systems. WHCQ is one of three low power stations under Taylor Media Stations Group.
Taylor Media Stations Group added 4KidsTV (Now Kids Box TV) on Sunday since WABG-DT2's Fox affiliate doesn't carry that affiliate and runs only for a few hours. Weekend Marketplace airs on its' sister station WEBU-LP, however. There are future plans for WEBU to affiliate FOX along with RTN if WABG doesn't make it's subchannel a 24-hour station. Taylor Media announced that all three stations will flash-cut to digital and become seperate affiliates.
