KZUP-TV (Anime 19) is the local Anime America Affiliate for Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It transmits its analog signal on UHF channel 19. It is owned by Taylor Media Stations Group.
The station signed on the air in 1999 as an UPN affiliate, but went to an independent station after its contract ended in 2003. It lost the rights to Raycom Media's WBXH, also known as "My BR TV".
For some years, the station once carried telecasts of the Texas Rangers baseball team. It also aired Family Feud during the 2002-2003 TV season, the first season hosted by Richard Karn--prior to that period and after that period, the show aired on WAFB. Then in 2007, the station became an Taylor Media Network afffiliate.
The station airs a telecast of the Shepherd's Chapel and The 700 Club every morning. During the day, it airs programming from JTN. During prime-time, it airs Anime America programming. During the evenings, the station airs the Funimation Channel.
In 2008, KZUP will become an affiliate of the Retro Television Network as KWBJ-LP take on the Anime America affiliate via Anime 100.
