Anivision is a cable television network created by Taylor Media Stations Group which primarily shows a mix of anime and non-anime programming. The original American channel began broadcasting on October 1, 2006 with Samurai Pizza Cats being its first-ever aired program. Anivision originally served as a 24-hour outlet for classic anime properties from the Taylor Media libraries. Anivision is mainly youth-oriented, but shares channel space with a late-night adult-oriented block called Late Night Crayon. In recent years, Anivision began airing more anime-action programming, including movies and series.
