XBW Wrestling
From Bywpedia
XBW Wrestling (XBW) formerly known as Xtreme Backyard Wrestling that confused fans with the contradicting fashion of the federation's first name and the product, is a privately held well-known American backyard wrestling group of friends based in Baltimore, Maryland that had been established by Nemesis in the fall of 1999. While its events originally occured on ground prior to trampoline and now permanently mattress, it progresses on a series of season episodes composed of regular shows and Supercards and has succeeded to Season 5, their scheduled final season. XBW has been variously owned by wrestlers in storyline such as War, Jesse James and latest, Deathwarrent. But factually, XBW is not particularly owned by anyone and instead has been a collaborative effort since it had been turned into a backyard wrestling tribute promotion to fallen leader Nemesis, who is the genuine real-life brother of Deathwarrent in which died in a bicycle accident on March 28, 2001.

Federation history
Season 1: 1999-2001
Youth period
XBW Wrestling (known once as Xtreme Backyard Wrestling) debuted in Maryland in the fall of 1999 and was created by Nemesis. It incepted with the likes of young boys that imitated professional wrestling during its boom period that is more notoriously recognized as "The Attitude Era". As by this time the craze of backyard wrestling was at an all-time high and of a vigorous violent nature, XBW followed the trend in some aspects introducing an element such as fire although no one was put to harm in it. The federation preferably focused on "throws" and verbal attitude, not exceeding the boundaries of personal safety by means of using detrimental weapons or performing high spots or any other risky activity.
They hosted their first offline show in the backyard that was Inferno. At this time, consider the booking made at random by a group of kids only planning to wrestle and have fun. Episodes were not posted online during this season. On their Episode 1 tapings, the XBW Maryland Championship and XBW Championship were already possessed and both contested on the same show which both champions in Deathwarrent (XBW Champion) and Nemesis (XBW Maryland Champion) retained, making a fact that both real-life brothers were inaugural champions of their held championship. Likely if pondered, it was due to the fact that Nemesis was owner and factually older than the rest, thus, used his leadership influence leading to why he began as champion as well as Deathwarrent beginning as champion, with him being the younger brother.
As episodes wore on, XBW spiced up in a hurry. The show Revolution was implemented and alternated with Inferno. Supercards would be hosted in addition. Two memorable feuds ignited that would see The Icon battle Nemesis consecutive times to try and capture the XBW Title and would do so at Hardcore Haven on Episode 6 in a Texas Death Match. In result of his loss subsequently to Deathwarrent at Hallowicked 8 episodes later, he would soon form the familiar creation of Lost Boyz alongside Nemesis as they ruled with sheer dominance. But as soon as Stevens' jealousy got that better of him, Lost Boyz would split and begin the mutual war that would have Nemesis remain champion. The same instances would be seen with Nemesis against his brother Deathwarrent in a raged-on personal rivalry that lasted lengthy because of a brother envy that radiated off Deathwarrent for he wanted to be Mr. XBW that his brother was. The feud carried XBW and both fought in some of the early most vicious matches of XBW. Deathwarrent also became Owner of XBW somewhere in this season; some episodes are lost and most Season 1 episodes are grainy footage.
Hiatus/Death of Nemesis/In Memory Of...
When XBW Wrestling went on hiatus later down in the season after an active season of wrestling and filming, the world of XBW took a tragic turning point when the unthinkable occurred. On March 28, 2001, 17 year old (at time) Nemesis was killed in a horrendous bicycle accident, leaving the XBW roster, his brother Deathwarrent and the extended family devastated and emotionally distraught. This halted the Deathwarrent-Nemesis feud as Deathwarrent was truly never able to find out who was better out of him and his brother down the line. Furthermore, it was after this unspeakable incident did the federation become a tribute to Nemesis and ran on dedication and that the Supercard, In Memory Of was created to commemorate him with a Nemesis Memorial Battle Royal taking place each event there for the Nemesis Memorial Cup.

After discovering Season 5 will be the series finale of XBW, the expectancy of the season was to kick off with a bang and it certainly was not short of expectations. XBW Owner Deathwarrent would be the face that opens the season with the JCW Championship in his possession before disposessed when Reilly Davidson utilizes his rights as JCW Owner to strip Deathwarrent who is working with XBW.
XBW Decline
A drastic plummet in the XBW fan base happened consequently when XBW Wrestling experienced a devastating slouch in progress by the near end of Season 4 (2007-2008) which moved fans away from the product when episodes were untimely despite the management giving a specific week of the upload and were extremely slow in the works of editing and being hosted online that disappointed fans. The announcement in Season 4 that Season 5 would officially become the series finale was another contributing factor that ensued a departure of many fans and forum members, not to mention the fact that the season would not entirely finish or conclude as envisioned by many because of real-life conflict.
Within all the seasons, however, XBW has slowed their rate of progress down due to personal issues within the group unseen backstage and personal life business and proceed to inevitably milk the anticipation on the forum boards of an upcoming episode until it is completed. Moreover, as XBW wrestlers (who some are staff as well) have actual lives outside of the hobby they find delectable, they laboriously dedicate their time and efforts to ensure that in the end, the fans are contented with worth-waiting visionary showcases.

The Backyard Connection
The successful negotiations that brought in TWFX's Spardis to invade XBW at Season 3, Episode 22 Revolution to feud with Jesse James only hinted the backyard connection XBW and TWFX would consolidate as. After an unforgetable rivalry that ended Season 3, Episode 25 at Kings of Carnage, both federations who are bonded as friends grew more intimate. Following the feud resurrection Season 4, Episode 11 at Mayhem before ending Episode 23 at Breaking Limits and prior to that the whole Spardis and No Fear invasion only solidified the deal. Both backyard federations have been joint together since TWFX decided to rid their old forum boards due to inactivity. XBW and TWFX will serve out their last days co-promoted and joint together on the same forum.
