WJXE-LP channel 15 is an Japanese Television Network serving Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding communities. Its transmitter is located in Jacksonville. WJXE-LD, the station's digital channel, will launch on December 1, 2007 and will be branded as "WJXE-JTN".
The station's over-the-air signal will likely only reach homes only in Duval County. However, WJXE has entered an agreement with Comcast to make the station available to all of its 300,000 subscribers in the Jacksonville area. It will be offered on Comcast channel 14.
JTN programming will be targeted towards the sentai fans. The station will not have a news operation but will offer a weekday morning show entitled the JTN Breakfast Club. The station will also offer local high school sports and will broadcast Jacksonville JAM games. In addition, the station is talking to local historically black colleges and universities about providing programming.
By September 2008, WJXE had completely sold to Taylor Media Stations Group.
WJXE will lease space from local Anime National affiliate WJXT to produce its programming. The station, which is still licensed to the Jacksonville area, changed its call sign to WVVQ-LP on June 29, 2009.
