FUNi Plus
From Bubblegum Wiki
FUNi Plus (or FUNi+) is a 24-hour anime network that showcases some of FUNimation's and Taylor Media properties. TaylorSAT[1] was chosen as the exclusive distributor of the network. FUNi Plus is Taylor Media's second 24-hour successor of the FUNimation Channel , the first being ADV Films' Anime Network. During 2008, 13 new shows were added to the 24-hour channel.
It is also available to Verizon BiOS customers. It is currently not available on Dish Network or DirecTV.
On January 13, 2008 the FUNimation Channel logo was rebranded as FUNi Plus; Taylor Media has yet to give a reason for the rebranding.
Although FUNi+ is a 24-hour network, it also airs syndicated and other programming from Taylor media-owned, TBC broadcast-owned, or any other networks depending on affilated stations.
On March 16, 2012, Anime National announced that it will drop FUNimation Channel from its FUNi+ service "on, or after March 15" due to "very low ratings".[6] and transitions to become an anime syndicated programming service, the only network original that will remain on the channel is Animate Your Reality and FUNi+ Now. Movies will be added to the network
