A fault in Joel's latest invention creates a virus that ultimately destroys Bonus Stage.

(opening credits)
(cut to June outside a restaurant, looking irritated and constantly looking at her watch. The sun is setting. A muffled pizzeria song can be heard. After a short time, Joel appears, tired from running and carrying a metal box.)
JOEL: Hey June...(puff) Sorry I'm late.
JUNE: (still irritated) I should hope so, it's nearly seven!
JOEL: Never mind that, I'm here now.
JUNE: Oh don't throw that 'I'm here now' c*** at me! I've been waiting here for three hours!
JOEL: Oh, um...crap! I forgot to put this in the machine! (indicates the metal box)
JUNE: (p***ed) WHO CARES!?!
JOEL: I was meant to put it in almost immediately after the other parts! But now I can't make it back on time! It will rip apart the space-time continuum!!
JUNE: And who ever cares about that?
JOEL: (whispered) Trust me on this one - all of Bonus Stage could be destroyed if we don't hurry!
JUNE: Blah.
(short pause)
JOEL: You don't care for our lives, do you?
JUNE: Not if all you care about is your stupid inventions.
JOEL: Well-
(Cut to Phil watching TV in his new house. The colors in this scene are heavily distorted, and dialogue from Just Passion Through can be heard from the TV.)
PHIL (in Rya's Season 5 voice): Hey Jessica, do you know where the remote is?
JUNE's VOICE: (offscreen) Jessica isn't in the program anymore, remember?
PHIL (Topato): Oh. Yeah.
(Cut back to the initial scene with Joel and June.)
JUNE (Joel): Don't worry, I'm sure everything's ok.
JOEL (June): (freaked out) THEN WHY AM I YOU?!
JUNE (Joel): Don't worry, I'm sure everything's ok.
(A waiter comes out of the restaurant.)
WAITER: (passing by) You just said that, sir...ess.
(June's eyes narrow and she growls (in Joel's voice). Cut to Joel's Lab, where a furiously shaking box is flashing whiter and whiter from orange.)
PHIL: (offscreen) Hey Elly, can you get me the cola from Joel's Lab?
(Elly moves in from the right.)
ELLY: Fine, um...lazy...pants.
(Elly opens the box and everything becomes static. Though there is no video, within a few seconds of us losing it and the sound, we hear the following lines of dialogue as though through a walkie-talkie. Because it is.)
JOEL: Is everyone ok?
(June, Phil and Elly all say yes.)
JOEL: Okay, I'm activating an emergency shutdown.
(The static is replaced with a white screen, then fade to High Score Joel, Phil, Elly and June standing in the Virtual Drawing Machine.)
JOEL: Right, I think we should take a break while I fix the virus.
PHIL: Virus? Is that why I'm alive again?
JOEL: (uninterested) Huh?
ELLY: What are you talking about?
PHIL: I'm meant to be dead, guys...honest.
JOEL: I wonder...Rya?
PHIL(RYA): You got me. What's going on?
JOEL: What happened to cynicism?
PHIL(RYA): I am honestly concerned about what's going on. Is all.
JUNE: If we honestly knew, we'd tell you.
JOEL: Hang on - where's Phil? (everyone else becomes shocked)
(cut to Human Rya lying horizontally in a black screen. Parts of her body have rotted away to the bone, and she is horribly frightened.)
RYA: Hello? Joel? Guys?
(roll closing credits, with a 'spooky' feel)
