- Lower Lea Valley: Hobby hunting over Lea Navigation & Walthamstow Marshes, 1500hrs; 5 Sand Martins (inc. breeding pair again in drainage pipe, Lea Navigation), 4 singing Linnets, Lesser and many Common Whitethroats, Walth. Marshes; 2 Common & 20 Black-headed Gulls, Millfield Park South; Common Whitethroats breeding, Hackney Marshes (Mark Pearson & Paul Robinson Hackney Wildlife)
- Brent Reservoir: Hobby, 8 LRP, 3 Green Sands, 2 Lapwings, Redshank & Common Sand (Andrew Self, Roy Beddard).
- Greenwich Peninsula Eco Park: esc Streaked Seedeater present again this a.m. - poor plumage condition, injured leg (Nick Tanner per DMc).
- London Wetland Centre: 2 Hobbies, 2 LRP's, 2 Green Sand,1 Common Sand, 1 ad Yellow Legged Gull, 146 B.H.Gulls inc 1 juv, 8 ad & 7+ juv Common Terns, c. 180 Swifts, 1 Kingfisher, 3 Chiffchaffs, 1 juv Willow Warbler (NPS).
- Rainham RSPB: 2 Hobby, Peregrine, 2 ad Yellow-Legged Gull, ad Med Gull, 8 Common Tern, Common Sand, Cuckoo.(Paul Hawkins); Greenshank, Garden Warbler (J Lethbridge).
- Paddington Green: 2 Black-headed Gull, Common Gull, 109 Swift SW in 10 minutes (storm clouds in area) (Des McKenzie).
- Amwell GP: Common Sandpiper, Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Grey Wagtail (J Lethbridge).
- Stoke Newington Reservoirs: 300+ Swift, c15 Sand Martin (TeRNS).

Saturday 5th July
- Alexandra Park: 4 Crossbill flew east over deer enclosure at 10.55, also 7 Common Terns, my personal highest count at the res at 10.20-1028, but down to 2 by mid-day. The park year list now stands at 106 v best ever of 113 in 2007 (John Murray).
- Beddington SF: 2 Curlew (one over, one appeared to settle out of sight), adult summer Med Gull, male Peregrine, Common Sandpiper (Kev McManus, Josh J Shaw, Grant Prater, David Campbell etc)
- Brent Reservoir: 5 LRPs, 2 Lapwings, 2 Common Sands & 30 Marbled Whites (Andrew Self, Leo Batten & Andrew Verrall).
- Coppetts Wood: 2 Crossbill North over early pm (G.Harper).
- Hogsmill SF: Hobby over (Nick Tanner).
- Southbury Road, Enfield Town: 1 Grey Wagtail (Phil Rhodes)
- Stoke Newington Reservoirs: Hobby SW 15.10, (2nd site record this year), 200+ Swifts, c18 Sand Martin (TeRNS).
- Paddington Green: ad Yellow-legged Gull in area mid-afternoon (Des McKenzie).
- Greenwich Peninsula Eco Park: possible Streaked Seedeater (esc) this a.m. at least (Nick Tanner per DMc).
- Barking Outfall: Yellow Wagtail, 3 Oystercatchers, 39 Shelduck, 7 Great Crested Grebes, 12 Pied Wagtails, Curlew, 4 Common Terns and 2 Grey Wagtails.(Dave Morrison).
- WWT London Wetland Centre,Barnes: single Green & Common Sandpipers (all day); Little Ringed Plover(1); 1 Lapwing chick; C Tern 2-3 chicks still on rafts, 6+ fledged juveniles on islands; Peregrine, Hobby & Kestrel(Angus Innes), Curlew over early (reported Martin Honey)

Friday 4th July
- Rotherhithe,SE16: 1 adult Yellow-legged Gull (as well as several LBB Gulls & a few Herring Gulls) on River Thames off Old Salt Quay Pub 8.15pm plus 1 Sand Martin, 120 Black-headed Gulls (3 juveniles) & 3 Common Terns (adults). 5 Common Terns (adults) late evening off Greenland Quay plus 1 Grey Heron (Richard Bonser).
- Wormwood Scrubs: 1 Hobby chasing Starlings over the grassland, 2 Swallow, a Lesser Whitethroat plus the usual stuff. (David Lindo)
- Tyttenhanger GPs: 2 Green Sandpiper. Ringed Plover. Redshank (Juv). Hobby. (Steve Blake)
- South Norwood Lake: 1 Great Crested Grebe, 8 Tufted Duck, 1 Sparrowhawk, 12+ Swift, 2 House Martin, 4 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Green Woodpecker, 1 Nuthatch, 3 House Sparrow, 4 Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff, (John Watson)
- Stoke Newington Reservoirs: 24 Common Terns (29 yesterday - highest ever counts), 31 Pochard, Common Whitethroat, Sedge Warbler, 1 Swallow, 12 Sand Martins, 5 House Martins, 8 Black-headed Gulls, c80 Swifts, Little Grebes with young, Sparrowhawk, plus all the usuals. Also 2nd year Common Gull & 3 Shoveler yesterday (Mark Pearson & Tony Butler Hackney Wildlife). 0900 - 1200: 9 C. Tern, GC Grebe + chick (TeRNS).
- Dagenham Chase LNR: 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, several Sand Martin. ( Vince Halley-Frame ).
- River Thames @ Mortlake: 1 Oystercatcher flew W @ 0740. (Dan Monk)

Thursday 3rd July
- 2 flocks of Crossbills over Wimbledon tennis this lunchtime, 7 over Centre Court at 12.05 and 11 over Court 8 at 12.25 (RBA).
- Beddington SF: Peregrine, 11 Green Sandpiper, Common Tern (Dip or Glory).
- London Wetland Centre: 2 Common Sandpiper, 6 ad and 8 juv Common Tern (LWC Website).
- Rainham RSPB: 4 Green Sandpiper, 2 Greenshank, 5+ Ringed plover, 13 Ring-necked Parakeet, 12 Little egret, 50+ Swift (Paul Hawkins, Shaun Harvey, Howard Vaughan).
- Leytonstone/Bush Wood: 30-40 Swifts circling at 8am - highest number I have seen here in one go (J Lethbridge).
- St James's Park: brood of Ruddy Ducks (Andrew Self).
- Paddington Green: at least 6 juv Herring Gull at local colony (Des McKenzie).
- Tyttenhanger GPs: 3 Ringed Plover (inc 1 juv), 3 Green Sandpiper, Hobby, Buzzard (Steve Blake).
- Willows Farm Puddle: Green Sandpiper, Lapwing, Mallard with 8 young (Steve Blake).

- Ingrebourne Valley: 6 Little Egret, Common Snipe, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Common Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Cetti's Warbler, Willow Warbler, Garden Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, Cuckoo, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Green Sandpiper, Green Woodpecker, Lesser Whitethroats, Long Tailed Tits, 2 Cetti's Warbler, Sedge Warbler (ELBF).
