Story

Prologue. The Good Ghosts

"We receive word that King Boo has once again kidnapped Yoshi, and when we're about to go looking, Bloo shows up! But this is no evil appearance, for when Lady Bow appears, they reveal that Bloo has decided to be good (for reasons not mentioned but a bit obvious) and wants to help the YB beat King Boo. So they head to KB's Mansion and talk to E. Gadd. Boy, this seems familiar."

Chapter 1. The Ghost in Bottles

"The YB head into the mansion and go up to the first area, where every ghost from the YB's Mansion is partying. After a song, they're all sucked up. We open a chest, and 20 Phantos come out! Looks like we'll have trouble with the keys. Anyway, we head into the next room which is the same as before, blah blah blah, when we open a chest and get the key a Phanto attacks us. We head back and into the west part... where... it's full of dirt? It looks like an underground tunnel. Oh well. First we deal with a ruin maniac, then we go against a Mega Mole ghost, and then we get to... Devil Bottles! He uses the Pitchfork to throw fire at us while a Banjo-Kazooie ghost uses the moves Bottles teaches Banjo-Kazooie in Banjo-Kazooie. Wow. I said Banjo-Kazooie 3 times in that sentence.

Chapter 2. Atomic Interruption

"When we head into the bathroom, the door disappears and we're stuck. We jump into the toilet and come out via Warp Pipe in the Ball Room. We find Bullet Bill Cannon Ghosts firing Bullet Bill Ghosts. We suck up the Bullet Bill Ghosts and fire them back. When the cannons are destroyed we get a key and head into the next room which is... Boo's Carousal! And with the music. Anyway, King Boo shows up and a bunch of Boos too. The Boos all run off. Next we head to the fortune teller's room, where Merlee is. Well, she can like help us with something if we need it. Anyway, we head to the next room which is full of mirrors. What is this, a fun house? What looks like a miniature Dark Mind appears, but is really just a mirror ghost. We have to suck up its mirror reflection and get a key. At the Laundry room, there's... chocolate pudding inside the washing machine... yeech. Oh, and a key. Next we head to the music room, where A PIANO MONSTER TRIES TO EAT US! After destroying it, we get another key. We head to the next area which is a golden room with a large painting of Luigi's Mansion? Inside are all the Boos that came out with King Boo; they merge to form Atomic Boo and we battle it. When only a few Boos are left suddenly the entire room turns dark and we're knocked out.

Chapter 3. Luigi's Mansion

"OMGWTC!? We wake up and are in Luigi's Mansion! Yes, the mansion E. Gadd made Luigi at the end of the game Luigi's Mansion. On top of that, Yoshi is back! Well... then... I guess our adventure is over. Right? Top doesn't think so, he's skeptical. While a party is planned, Top thinks (with a sudden appearance of Kreafty... heh heh...). Oshy does some exploring of the mansion and finds (I'm not sure who'll appear here yet. Maybe Kamek, perhaps Petey Piranha, iono...). After battling, Oshy rushes down to where the party has begun. In the room is a painting of King Boo's Mansion, and a ghost comes out. Uh oh. Suddenly more ghosts come out and the room becomes distorted, and all the party guests (plus Yoshi) are kidnapped and Luigi's Mansion turns back into King Boo's Mansion. OH NOES!!! What a way to end a chapter... :(

Chapter 4. Weee, Darkness

"When this chapter starts, all the power goes out and it's really dark. Great. So we head to the Dining Room where once again Gourmet Guy is sitting at eating food. He runs out of food and we give him Cake; He goes crazy like in Paper Mario and jumps up, leaving a key. We take the key and head to the Tea Room where a bunch of British Ghosts are. So yeah. They just give us the key. We open the bathroom but then someone says "OCCUPIED" so we can't go in. We head to Merlee and she says she found a key, use it to open the room that used to be the Billiard Room. We head in and there's a tennis court. We have to beat a couple Tennis ghosts, and then we suck them up and get the key. Then we head into the projection room where we must suck up Arnold Ghostaneggar. We somehow suck him up and get a key and then head to the observatory. There we run into a Shroo, or Shroob Boo. After he complains, we suck him up and get a key. We head to the next room... which has no floor... and we fall into the basement. A dungeon. There we battle against the Big Lantern Ghost, and when he's pwned by hitting his lantern multiple times making it bright enough to hurt him, a Lanturn ghost comes out of his Lantern and powers up the mansion making it bright enough to see. Yay.

Chapter 5. Atomic Bullet Boo

"Because all Video Game Jails are crappily made, and an RP is like a video game, we tear off the wallpaper and enter a door which leads to an outside graveyard. Zombies come out, but are just bags of dust so we go through them easily. We head back into the mansion and head up to the Safari room, where a hunter ghost turns us to the hunted. Until we become the hunters again by tricking him with a SONG BREAK! We then get a key to a nearby room and open it up... only to fall back down to the basement. This time we're in... a code chamber? ...eh. Top, being the oddball he is, takes out his hammer and hits the words "DONTYOUGOANDTELLIMBOUTTHESECRETINHISCELLER" even though the original code said her, no 'im, but shaking occurs. We leave the code chamber to find a key inside the cellar. Yayz. We head to the clockwork room where a giant clock is located. Top jumps in and we appear in Click Clock Tock. We get up to the top and are warped back to the Clockwork Room where the platform to the roof has opened up. We head to the roof where we see Lakitu Ghosts. We must suck up their clouds then we can suck up the Lakitu ghosts. Then a Warp Pipe comes up. We jump in and end up in the occupied bathroom with the Boos and party guests, but no Yoshi, so we attack! We battle Atomic Boo, and we actually have to battle him, not suck him up. Then when he's beaten we can suck him up. Yay!

Chapter 6. King Boom Bloo

"We head off to the Ceramic place, where we see a bunch of jars. Top rubs one and a genie ghost comes out. Top wishes we could suck him up. So we suck him up and get a key. We then jump into a jar and come out through a pipe in the pipe room. There, we do a traditional Mario Bros. style battle and when we win, we get a key and use the warp pipe to get to the basement hall. We enter the cold storage to see a bunch of Duplighosts and the Crystal Ghost. The Duplighosts become the Crystal Ghost and they move around. We have to guess which one is which, and when we do, we can suck up the Crystal Ghost and get another key. We then head to the Artist's Studio where Van Gore is back. He paints clones of us we must fight. Then we can suck him up and get the last key. We head down to the basement and battle King Boo while Bloo is off looking for Yoshi, and we manage to defeat King Boo with help from Lady Bow. Then we reappear in King Boo's place and Bloo appears, revealing to have tricked us all. King Boo thought Bloo was going to help him, since that was the plan; however, Bloo stole the Bombsphere blueprints, which is what he was trying to do ever since he began helping KB, and then Bloo disappeared. We find Yoshi, and everything ends. 'Cept King Boo is like all angry and stuff. Haha. The end."

Reason For Being Unused

Originally, Topmonhit had made this story as a way to explain how Bloo obtained the bombsphere blueprints used in Four Short Anecdotes That All Have Something In Common By Topmonhit. However, at the time in the YB, King Boo was controlled by Mack. Because of this, Topmonhit scrapped the plan and instead decided to incorporate it into whatever story Mack could come up with. Mack's activity dwindled, however, and the entire plan was scrapped. Instead, it was just explained later on that Bloo had stolen the blueprints, and no full story was ever made.

Trivia

  • The story is set as a sequel to The Yoshi Bodyguards' Mansion, a story in the pre-Dark Ages YB. The story also introduced Bloo, which would have made this interesting as Bloo appeared to have turned to the side of good.
  • If Topmonhit ever runs out of story ideas, he may remake this into an actual story.
  • Kreafty's appearance would be moved to The Shadows, the Prankster, and the Hat.
  • The Hunter Ghost comes from an inexplicable memory Topmonhit has of seeing a beta Luigi's Mansion screenshot with a hunter ghost in the trophy room that he has been unable to relocate.
  • Chocolate pudding being in the washing machine is a reference to a Garfield comic where Jon found chocolate pudding in the washing machine.

Connection to Other Stories

  • Bloo and Mogmire would later have the Bloomsphere in Four Short Anecdotes That All Have Something In Common By Topmonhit, where it was explained Bloo had gotten the plans from King Boo.
