DISCLAIMER or something we need one of those fancy box things: This article is about events that took place at Tick Tack Dude. Therefore, some information may be incorrect.
Oshy & Yisho: Partners in Lemon-Lime was an RP Chronicles story by Topmonhit. It was based off of Mario & Luigi: Partners in time, and was the first RP in RP Chronicles.

Story
The Gishos
The story began about a decade and a half ago on Gisho Island. Baby Oshy and his brothers had come into Gisho Castle where their dad, Duller, worked. Duller had brought them there to play with the baby Princess Apricot, but when they got to her, they found Prince Rexor, trying to make off with her! After a battle, Prince Rexor was defeated, but just then the castle began shaking.
Meanwhile, in the present, Oshy, his brothers, and Moll E. were getting ready to have a family reunion. Suddenly, however, Oshy saw on the television some news about a scientist named "Professor Oh Gee, AKA Oltin Gisho". He immediately recognized the name, and ran out to where the news was being filmed, at Toad Town. There, he met Oh Gee, and learned from him that he and his brothers were not the only survivors of Gisho Island--he, the leading Professor of the island, and the princess of the island, Princess Apricot, had escaped as well, but a storm separated them. Oh Gee then told him that the princess had gone in a combination time machine and coffee maker he and Professor E. Gadd worked on together. Just then, it returned, but instead of a yoshi... a strange, purple yoshi with red eyes appeared and attacked them! Oshy and his brothers defeated it, and then a time hole suddenly appeared. Oh Gee figured it would go to where the time machine had gone to, so Oshy and Yisho headed in along with some other Yoshi Bodyguards.
The Past and Shoshi Attack
Once they reached the past, a random Hitmonlee named Rogue appeared. At any rate, Stuffwell came out of the time hole, sent by Top, and the time hole then disappated. They headed to Egg Village, only to find it destroyed, and were then attacked by Shoshis. The Shoshis defeated them, unfortunately.
Meanwhile, in the Rex Cruiser, Prince Rexor was flying to his castle with Baby Oshy, his brothers, Baby Apricot and Duller. While they were flying, some Shoshi UFOs attacked them, so Prince Rexor blasted them out of the sky. Duller and Baby Apricot then got him to blast some Shoshis at Egg Village, and then Baby Oshy and Baby Yisho went to check it out. Some Shoshis attacked them, but they were able to defeat them. They then saw the characters that had been defeated by the Shoshis, and brought them onto the Rex Cruiser.
There, they flew over Shoshi Castle and was messaged by Princess Shoshi. They were then attacked by a missile and crashed at Prince Rexor's Castle. The characters made their way through the castle and found Baby Oshy and Baby Yisho, then encountered a Rexerer named Rakex who was looking for Prince Rexor. After a pointless fight, the characters found a strange shard and then found Duller, Baby Apricot, and Baby Oshy's other brothers. They also found a time hole, which they jumped in. Duller followed them, although unwillingly.
They arrived back in the present and saw the Shoshi from earlier, now in a glass case, reacted strangely by the shard they had found, so Oh Gee reckoned they should find more. The shard turned out to be part of the Pearl Star Shard, which was used to power the time machine (that extra coffee maker needed power!), and it activated another time hole, so they all made their way back into the past.
Probably some cheap ripoff of Vim
Once they reached Eggwood, they found a Yoshi who had gone with Princess Apricot to the past. This Yoshi (name unknown) explained that the trees had kidnapped some Yoshis and were sucking out some sort of ripoff of Vim. Some Shroob UFOs appeared and tried to attack them, but they got away and eventually made it into the factory the Shoshis were in. After some pointless stuff (might've been a couple Hamrexes), they got to the back of the factory, where they battled a Shrooper, or Shroob Blooper. Once it was defeated, another Pearl Star Shard appeared, but Prince Rexor showed up and stole it along with the one they stole from him. He then ran off.
When the group returned to the present, a bunch of new time holes had sprouted up and one had tremendous Pearl Star energy coming from it. Before they went off into it, however, they found the Duller from the past, who had been told all about going to the future and stuff. So, they went off to the past and stuff.
Shayoshi!?
They found themselves at Yoshi Hills, but found no one around in the village. They went into a hut and found a bunch of cowering Yoshis, and just then a giant Shayoshi (Shroob Wayoshi) appeared! It ate some Yoshis, then left. The group then found Rakex, who was stealing cookies, and chased after him to the top of the tallest hill, where they found Prince Rexor. Baby Oshy and Yisho ate all the cookies Prince Rexor had amassed, and the group then battled Rakex. In the end, Rakex was defeated, but then the Shayoshi ate everyone.
Inside, the group found the inside of the Shayoshi was like a factory producing Yoshis trapped inside weird eggs, so they made their way through the Shayoshi until they found the other Yoshi who had accompanied Princess Apricot, but he (name unknown) had amnesia. At any rate, there was a large Angry Shrab blocking the exit, so after a battle, everyone escaped. Baby Oshy and Yisho, however, noticed a button and pressed it before they left, which caused the Shayoshi to explode, proving it was a robot and not an organic creature. The group then got the Pearl Star Shards back from Prince Rexor and he was sent flying away by the shards.
They returned to the present, and more shard energy was being detected from another time hole.
Desert Headquarters
The group found themselves at Deserted Plateau, and they attempted to enter the Rexeum. Unfortunately, a massive group of Shoshis attacked them; they were able to get away, but needed to find another way end. They learned there was a secret entrance, but they had trouble figuring it out (all they knew was it involved sneezing or a cold or something). Anyway, they eventually figured out what they needed was to make the Rexeum sneeze or something in order to open up a way through the nose. Inside, they saw a massive crowd of Shoshis watching Princess Shoshi do some sort of presentation or rally or something, then Princess Apricot appeared, being held by a Shoshi UFO! She was dropped into a Chocolate Pudding Monster, which she kind of... globbed into or something.
The group began to travel through the Rexeum, trying to find their way to the Chocolate Pudding Monster, when they accidently ended up at the stage! They were attacked by a Shirdo or something, then fell into the Deserted Plateau Caverns. There, they eventually found and defeated the Chocolate Pudding Monster (getting a Pearl Star Shard in the process), then found Apricot... with an egg over her head! They brought her back to the present, where Moll E. let her rest at her house. Unfortunately, the rest would not last long, as everyone would begin to panic! The group hurried in and found... the modern-day Rexor! He proclaimed that he had finally found Apricot, Oshy and all the others, and though he attempted to kidnap Apricot, his weight caused the floor to give way and he fell into the basement, where a time hole was situated, and went into the past along with Apricot.
Past and Present Collide
The group hurried after Rexor, and found themselves at Whomp Volcano. They went up the volcano to the top, and just then it began to erupt! They hurried down to a laboratory, where they met the past Professor Oh Gee. As the volcano erupted, his lab was destroyed and almost exploded, but thanks to some ice breath, that was avoided. This somehow affected the present Oh Gee, who suddenly built an ice blaster which was thankfully used to stop the volcano from erupting. Unfortunately, this angered Prince Whomp (the future King Whomp), who began to battle them. The battle was pitiful, though, as he was weak, and after a pep talk, he agreed to help them into the volcano.
Meanwhile, in the volcano, Rexor was planning on making the volcano a site for a castle when Prince Rexor appeared, planning to make the place his castle! The two of them began to argue, getting angrier and angrier, and not realizing they were each other. After the group entered the volcano, they made their way to the bottom where they encountered Prince Rexor. They were about to fight, when King Rexor showed up, and revealed they were now working together. After a battle, the two of them were defeated, though. The volcano then burst the rock they were on into the sky; Rexor fell off and fell through the time hole, while Prince Rexor landed on the Shoshi Mothership, which extended a pipe into the volcano and abducted Apricot! The group tried to go after her, but the pipe left before they could.
Just then, Top showed up in his Star Ship! Apparently The Cloud had told him to go to the past with the Star Ship, so after going through Sky Chase Zone, they got to the Shoshi Mothership. Unfortunately, they found out that the Apricot they had brought to the present was, in fact, Princess Shroob in disguise! They just barely made it out, then ended up activating a giant egg. They were then dropped off the mothership, while the giant egg began to send some communication waves... off to the Shoshi Planet... anyway, the group found themselves at the destroyed Gisho Town, at which Stuffwell told them he was detecting tremendous Pearl Star readings at Star Cavern. At Gisho Town they found a shop that had a Popple-like character inside, only he wore tan. Apparently, this was Popple's father. After defeating him, Chibi stole his hat, and they went back to the present; there, they went to a time hole leading to Star Cavern.
The Star Cavern
At Star Cavern, they battled General Shoshi, then the Star Door tried to mess with their heads, then the supposed Pearl Star Spirit told them how powerful it was and that it could get them into Shoshi Castle if 5 shards were found. They then found a random shard in the cavern, bringing their total to 4, but then that yoshi who was at Yoshi Hills showed up and showed them a drawing he had drawn and apparently had regained his memory but then seeing the four Pearl Star shards he panicked and ran off. The group followed, only to find he had been attacked. Just then an Elder Shoshi showed up and turned the yoshi into a Shoshi egg, then they battled. Eventually the Elder Shoshi was defeated, and they obtained their 5th Pearl Star Shard.
With the 5th Pearl Star Shard obtained, the group made their way to a time hole leading to Gisho Castle, now Shoshi Castle...
Shoshi Castle
At Shoshi Castle, which had a layout similar to the SM64 Peach's Castle, the group traveled through it until they found the clockroom. There, a strange wobbly warbly... thing was going on in space, and suddenly someone appeared... Grodus! They overheard his evil monologue about how he was still evil and had traveled back into the past where he could more easily take over Star World, and then battled him. They figured out that if they destroyed his staff, he would be sent back to the present, so they did, and thus defeated him.
They continued up until they reached the top and finally were able to meat Apricot. However, soon after the castle was attacked by the Shoshi Mothership, so the group went up to a spare ship and destroyed the mothership. It crashed into the castle, freeing Apricot, and the group battled and defeated Princess Shoshi. Apricot revealed to have the final Pearl Star Shard, but before anyone could do anything, Prince Rexor showed up and put the final piece in. Apricot explained that the Elder Princess Shoshi was inside the Pearl Star, and putting it back together allowed her to escape!
With the Elder Princess Shoshi escaped, they began to do battle. In the end, guess what the Elder Princess Shoshi was defeated. She was turned into an egg, which the group took. They returned to the future, and everyone rejoiced. However, Rexor was still there, having been knocked out. They tried to get him up, but then the Elder Princess Shoshi Egg levitated into the air and forced itself into Rexor's mouth. With this, the Elder Princess Shoshi took control of Rexor, turning him into Zombified Rexor, and kidnapped Apricot, bringing her to Mt. Rugged.
The group chased after them, and defeated Zombified Rexor. Just then, a massive ship appeared in the sky--the Shoshi Fathership (or something less lame). They were transported aboard, and saw the Queen Shoshi--a massive... TAR whatever thing! But the Fathership when Top showed up in his Star Ship... along with a number of other YB ships! The Fathership was destroyed, and everyone crashed at Mt. Rugged for one final battle with the TRUE leader of the Shoshis... King Shoshi... Sherry! ...yes, it was a purple goomba. One stomp defeated it. The freakin' end!
Trivia
- This story was originally planned to be a comic series; however, Topmonhit had a lack of required sprites (he still does), and so it was remade into a normal typed story; this failed, however, as he had not found his writing... power... thing... so he finally made it into an RP to start off RP Chronicles.
- The 4 bosses in this story that were not in M&LPIT are Popple Sr., Grodus, and Queen/King Shoshi.
- Every time the main group went back in time, a short scene with Top was shown, due to him having only two important parts in the story.
Connections to Other Stories
- This story would introduce two more Gishos who survived the meteor hit on Gisho Island, as well as Oshy's love interest and mortal enemy, Rexor.
- Later on in Icy Heart of Darkness! The Final Story of Sneen!, Duller would return, and explain why he didn't tell Oshy about Oh Gee and Apricot (which was he thought Oshy knew about them).
- The Chocolate Pudding Monster would later return as a boss in The Oddtastic Adventure.
- This story was where Grodus was reintroduced as a villain, after having supposedly renounced his evil ways in The Shadows Cometh (Or Something Lousy Like That).
- The Shayoshi head would return in Return to Gisho, where General Guy modified it into a battle vessel.
