Topmonhit Story '09 Valentime’s Day Special: Island of the Lopunny is the first Topmonhit Story Valentine's Day special and the first special of 2009. It involves Topper trying to find his true love.

Story
Part 1
A few days after the Metal Army was driven from Star World, Topper was checking his P-Mail. When it came up, it was asking about what he was doing for Valentime's Day. Hearing this, Top began to panic over it being Valentime's Day (though Oshy tried to correct them). Oshy asked if they could watch over the rest of the castle reconstruction (as it had been damaged during the Metal Army attack), as he had a special day planned for Apricot. He went through his plan, but while he was speaking Apricot came in and overheard it. Apricot laughed at it being spoiled, but told Oshy that it was okay, and the plan sounded wonderful.
Top yelled at them, saying that Topper and he can have their own grand time as bachelors, and by grand time he meant hiding from the love bubbles. Topper kicked Top into a box, and decided that today was the day that he would find someone. He went to Oh Gee, who was looking at some candy hearts under a microscope, to ask for a ship, saying that he was tired of being alone. Since Topper didn't know how to fly one, however, Oh Gee had Testube pilot the ship to Pokeworld.
Once they reached the planet's atmosphere, Topper told Testube to just pick a random large island, hoping to find an island of Pokemon like Hachacha was. Unfortunately, the ship was hit by an explosion, and they saw a large Weezing-shaped space station not far away. The ship was attacked some more, breaking apart, and Topper fell out towards the planet, blacking out.
Part 2
Once Topper came to, he found himself in what appeared to be a simple hut, sitting on a very soft bed. The pillow appeared to be made of fluff, and he could hear waves crashing against a shore and the smell of fruit... he had landed on an island, and since there was a hut, there should be others around. There was also a bowl of berries nearby, though not many he was particularly fond of. It was then that a Lopunny came in and saw that he was awake. The Lopunny called out to someone outside the hut, and soon a multitude of female Lopunny were in the hut.
A Lopunny said that Topper was the first male to come to the island for many years, and Topper concluded they were pretty lonely by now, and though the island didn't have the type of berries Topper liked, he figured it could still work. Some Lopunny brought in a throne that they put Topper on and carried him to a large platform. Topper asked if they had seen a glove that could only say "bun" anywhere, but none of the Lopunny had saw one though they said it was probably fine, which Topper agreed. He then got one of the Lopunny to give him a foot rub. A couple more came and began to massage Topper's head with the fluff on their ears.
Just then, a rock hit Topper right at the center of his face. He yelled, asking who threw that, while the Lopunny muttered to themselves nervously, but Topper saw a tan arm-like thing waving to him behind a bush. He excused himself and went behind the bush to find Testube. Topper told Testube he wasn't leaving, as the island was paradise, but Testube reminded him of something, which Topper realized was right: Islands like these always sacrifice the person they worship, and he began to hit his head against a tree.
Testube had already fixed up the ship, though, so Topper and Testube left the island. As the ship flew over the island, Topper yelled to the Lopunny that they would never sacrifice him to their volcano or whatever. The Lopunny, however, were confused, as they had never intended to sacrifice Topper at all, and called for him to come back, but it was too late: He was gone. As the ship left Pokeworld's atmosphere, Testube tried to assure Topper he would find someone someday, and Topper said that he hoped he would...

- The story begins with Topper checking his P-Mail.
- The term "Valentime's Day" comes from Homestar Runner.
- This is the first story to reveal Team TOT had moved in to Gisho Castle after Top's House was destroyed.
- Prior to making this special, Topmonhit had stated that the ending of this special made him melancholy (because Topper lost a good deal for no good reason).
- This is the first Topmonhit Story Holiday Special of 2009 and the first (and so far only) Valentine's Day special.
