Mobius Chaos Episode I: The New Master Plan is the thirteenth story of Topmonhit Story, the second story of the Dark Perforation Arc, and the first of the Mobius Chaos series. It is the first time Team TOT faced Metal Top since The Plot of Evil Dreams.

Story

Part 13-1: Return to the Castle

After another long description, showing a bunch of ships of the Dark Perforation Castle and a large number of creatures, a meeting between The Dark Perforation, Minorbu and Metal Top was shown. The Dark Perforation was yelling at Minorbu for losing the diamond, and Metal Top made a comment about an object known as the Master Emerald, which he said could be just as poweful, if not moreso, than the diamond. The Dark Perforation told Metal Top to go get it and take three ships, and that Orp and Hurtilu would go with him. Once Metal Top left, however, The Dark Perforation told Minorbu he had a task for him; it did not fully trust Metal Top yet, and this was a trial run for Metal Top. Minorbu, though, was going to get a chance to redeem himself.

Meanwhile, Snophia was feeling sorry, for they knew the location of the diamond. Just then, she heard some clanging and suddenly Stawl came out of a vent! Stawl recognized her, and explained he was supposed to have been her guardian star, but never was able to because she disappeared. Stawl explained to Snophia what happened to the Iclan Kingdom in King Top, but Stawl said he had overheard The Dark Perforation and Minorbu talking and that he should go warn Team TOT, so Snophia agreed and Stawl hurried to get onto one of the ships.

Part 13-2: THERE’S TOO MANY CATS IN THIS STORY!

At Top's House, Top was checking up on the diamond from King Top when Oshy's Palladium Fire Flower rang; it was Whirl, who called to tell them the Master Emerald had been stolen by a robot of Top. This obviously meant Metal Top was back, which wasn't fun for any of them. However, Whirl also added that Slike was the one who saw it happened; Slike yelled that he wasn't going to let some robot of Top beat him to the punch, so he was helping for now.

Team TOT went into their garage, only to find a black cat inside, Mel Tice. Mel had no idea how he got there, and ended up randomly going with them, along with the other guest stars. In the Great Panaj, however, Plasshi found a TAC named Yttik trying to steal Sera's jewel. They began to fight when the ship went into hyperspace.

When they arrived at Mobius, everyone came out except for Plasshi and Sera. When they tried to get into the Great Panaj, Plasshi and Yttik came out, fighting; they were able to stop Yttik, but then Whirl and Slike appeared. Slike suggested she may be able to help them, and after an explanation, Yttik agreed to help since there was nothing better to do.

Part 13-3: Down, Kujo!

When the fourteen of them found the ships on the ground, they attacked a creature who was putting fuel into one of the ships, and then snuck onto the ship. Unfortunately, while on the ship, Whirl realized they were on the wrong ship. Soon after, Mel accidently gave away their position and were attacked by a creature with two oversized revolvers. They defeated the creature and hurred into another room, then Topper kicked down a door and they got to the control room. Metal Top appeared, and after some banter, Metal Top released a dog-like creature named Kujo to attack them.

Part 12-4: The Fall of Ship 1

The fourteen characters fought against Kujo, eventually defeating it. Right after that, an alarm went off as a voice stated the fuel tanks were empty. They realized the creature they attacked was fueling up the ship, and Sub managed to teleport them out of the ship into the jungle just in time. Soon after, Glerk and Metal Chaos appeared, having tracked them so they could help. Glerk was unsure of trusting Slike, but they were interrupted when Evelyn appeared, having followed Glerk and Metal Chaos. Whirl reluctantly let her come along, and they headed off.

Part 13-5: Their Ship’s Come In… and it’s the wrong one.

In the third ship, Metal Top was flying around, looking for the fallen ship, trying to recover what he could so the mission went perfectly. Luckily for the heroes, this meant they could get onto it and get the Master Emerald. They all used various ways to fly up, some holding onto others, but unfortunately Top, Topper, Danny and Mel went into the wrong ship; the second ship was high up, and they thought the lower ship was looking to destroy them.

Unfortunately, because it was the other ship that had the emerald, the others had to go get them. Danny blamed Top, and their yelling caused them to be detected. All the doors shut, and Orp and Hurtilu appeared. Orp told Hurtilu that if they succeed where Metal Top and Minorbu failed, they would likely get a promotion, so they prepared to fight.

Part 13-6: “You Take the Big Guy!”

Team TOT and the others fought against Orp and Hurtilu, eventually defeating them after a bit, although during the fight Whirl was hit by one of Orp's syringes, knocking him to the ground. After the fight, Orp told the pilot of the ship to open the east door and veer right, which sent most of the characters falling out of the ship. Some were able to remain on the ship until Hurtilu, still defeated, rolled towards them and knocked them off the ship.

Part 13-7: And That Makes 20 Characters!

Down in Mystic Jungle, Frob and Bread were at a recon outpost and were out of cookies. They were about to get up and go when something began falling around them, after which Glerk and Metal Chaos fell onto them. The others came down, and Sub recognized Frob and Bread. Evelyn panicked about Whirl not getting up, and Plasshi said he had been poisoned, but could cure him of it and began to do so. Little did they realize a pair of eyes were watching them from the bushes. Up on ship 3, Metal Top was contacted by Orp and Hurtilu who said they got on ship 2 and attacked them; Metal Top decided to move out since they had the emerald and Team TOT had nothing.

Down below, Team TOT and the others began to hear accordion music. It wasn't coming from Top, for once, and suddenly something burst out of the bushes and began to run around in a blur. Just then, the blur stopped and it was revealed to be Hey You, who sang his theme song. Once he was done, they saw the two ships flying away from the planet, but Hey You was able to get them up there simply by stating the location in italics.

Part 13-8: Metal Malice (Super Size!)

On the ship, Team TOT and the others began to notice there seemed to be no creatures guarding the ship. A door opened mysteriously, and they went inside, after which the door shut and Metal Top appeared. He proclaimed they would have one final battle, and only one would walk away with the Master Emerald. The fight began, and though Metal Top fought hard, it ended with it being defeated... until suddenly it got back up and blasted back into the next room, where the Master Emerald was.

Metal Top jumped onto it and became Super Metal Top. It seemed invincible at first, but then they realized that attacking the device holding the Master Emerald caused Metal Top to lose his invincibility temporarily, so they managed to stop Metal Top and get the Master Emerald. Metal Top escaped, though, and was able to push them all out of the ship, sending them falling towards the Mystic Jungle below while the Master Emerald landed elsewhere; someone, however, found it, realizing what it was.

Part 13-9: Divided, We Suck

Metal Top was about to go retrieve the emerald when they got a transmission from The Creator, telling it to return to the castle, as it had a special surprise for Metal Top. Down below, everyone had gotten separated, and Sub was stuck with Hey You. Danny, Plasshi, Frob and Metal Chaos were in one group, Top, Evelyn, Mel and Stuffwell were in another, Oshy, Egghold, Bread and Glerk were in another, and in the last was Topper, Whacko, Sera and Whirl. Topper accidently made Sera cry, which, luckily, caused everyone to hear it and regroup. Slike and Yttik were gone, though, but they went ahead to find the emerald.

Part 13-10: The Secret Military Organization

Team TOT and the others found the emerald signature to be inside a militaristic base in the Mystic Jungle. Hey You made a loud noise, alerting the guards to them, but they managed to go around them and get to the door. It was locked, but Mel opened it up with an explosion... alerting the whole base to them. They rushed in, fighting off the soldiers and eventually reaching the inner area where the Master Emerald was, but General Distinct then appeared. Both he and Sub seemed to think one another were terrorists until there was an explosion and Slike came in with a spider-mech and grabbed the Master Emerald.

Part 13-11: The Master of Disaster 2

Team TOT and the others began to fight against Slike and his Emerald Swiper; it had a glowing spot on the underside, but it turned out that was a fake weak spot. They realized they had to hit the legs of the mech, but then Slike called for someone and Yttik came down, now helping Slike. SZM didn't post enough though so she was kicked off later. Once there were only two legs left, the mech began to float and the two legs became arms.

A shield was made, but it was shattered when Top knocked the emerald out as Jet Top. Slike escaped, but they managed to get the emerald back. The Master Emerald was returned to Angel Island, General Distinct began an investigation on The Yoshi Bodyguards, Hey You ran off into the sunset backdrop, and Metal Top disappeared back to the castle. However, when Team TOT returned home, they found Top's House had been destroyed and the diamond was gone!

Stawl was there and said that Minobu was the one who destroyed Top's House. Stawl then explained to them that he knows Metal Top and Minorbu are working together and that they have a single "master". Stawl also mentioned he had found Snophia at the castle, and Stawl gave them a star transporter thing so Stawl could go between Snophia and them easily. And so ended the story, but the arc was less than halfway done...

Trivia

  • Knuckles was supposed to make an appearance in the story, and in fact did in the preview, but Topmonhit forgot about him; there were twenty characters at the time anyway, so it was in overkill anyway.
  • This is the first appearance of Hey You in the canon storyline.
