Christopher (AKA "James", also pronounced as "James") is a Raichu character of Paper's. Often seen traveling with Amphy, he has no real job of his own. Instead, to make money, he employs several underhanded tactics (mostly stealing) to get quick cash. He has a pair of sunglasses at all times. Unlike Amphy, he did not appear in Nintendo Anecdote 3 with Amphy & Associates Ace Agency (or something like that). However, he did debut in Grodus Rising as a conscript.

Pre-Grodus Rising

Him and Amphy came to the X-Nauts' aid as paid conscripts, two of the first four that were initially there. They, along with Eli and Paper, assisted Grodus' efforts until the end of the story. Christopher plotted to steal tech from the X-Nauts from the very beginning, but he still was loyal to them--he had to get his pay, after all. It is not known if Christopher actually enjoyed other conscripts' company, but he definitely was bothered by Teen Angst, who decided he was her BFF (boyfriend forever).
During the story, he was a dutiful fighter that carried out any plans he was given. Through his short career as a conscript, he met a lot of people, but didn't get very attached to anyone, and seemed suspicious to a few people, too.
Topmonhit Story: The Great Creator and The Great Destroyer
Amphy performed a magic show near the beginning, apparently better than any time he tried before, while Christopher was trying to pickpocket the crowd for some good stuff. All of a sudden, Amphy declared he needed a volunteer from the crowd, and pointed out the person that Christopher was just about to steal from: Shi'un. He was... pretty mad at him for just blowing his cover like that, to be sure, but couldn't show it at the time. He messed up again when the quake struck soon after.

Amphy

Amphy and him started as simple business partners that agreed to make money together any way they could, but they became better friends through the events of Grodus Rising. Christopher has always been irked by Amphy's puns and rhymes and general silliness, despite their friendship. However, he acknowledges Amphy's contributions and doesn't secretly hate him or anything. Amphy sometimes thinks that Christopher's a little short-tempered at times, but wouldn't try to anger him (much) for kicks.
