No one knows why it came or what it was doing beneath the ring, but for several months after its first appearance the monster dragged superstars underneath the ring - very few of whom have been seen since. The Ghost's victims so far include:

• Scott Smith and Robert Goldberg, who were the first victims during their match, this is when the ghost first appeared...

• Vyper, during his DXX United States Championship Tournament Qualifier, after losing the match, he became the third victim of this beast.

• Likewise, Kevin Nash , the bodyguard of General Manager Carari Grey was taken when he lost his match to Christian Cage.

• After losing a second time to Davie Havok, Razor Ramon was dragged underneath the ring on the same night during the qualifiers.

• A month later after an attack from 'The Sisterhood of Hotness', Beth Phoenix and Mickie James became the first female victims of the Ghost, the next week James' opponent Syderzz was also taken.

Though many were worried by this creature, Carari Grey initially showed no panic over the case which led to speculation on whether she was somehow involved with these events. Though when Drake White took over as Acting General Manager he alongside the security team and Ville Valo decided to sort this problem out once and for all, however it almost didn't end well when one of the guards where taken, had it not been for Jimmy James, saving them and fending the Ghost off the problems could have been vastly worse. Ultimately the Mayhem Ghost disappeared almost as mysteriously as it had arrived in late 2008.
