The Marfat is a holy book of Aralan.
Brief Introduction to the Marfat
The Marfat is a rather concise book. The Marfat is a holy book of Aralan, not the holy book. This is significant because it implies that The Marfat is not the absolute and final truth, but a collection of thoughts meant to inspire and guide others to their own truths. The Marfat is in fact, just the starting point of the Aralan religion, providing a basic sketch of some of the main ideas of its founder, Akhilesh Pillalamarri, who wrote under the pen name of Aryeztur Mejorkhor. Aryeztur Mejorkhor draws upon various sources including Eastern and Western religions, modern Science, as well as his own ideas. As The Marfat is only the starting point, it is meant to be the stepping stone to further scriptures that are to be inspired by it. Some have already been written. These expand upon, modify, and deepen the ideas proposed in the Marfat. However, there are some basic ideas in the Marfat that are both fundamental and universal to all humans and the Aralan religion. Almost all the ideas of Aralan originate in some form or the other in The Marfat. This is why The Marfat is the most important book of Aralan and a good guide to those new to Aralan. The founder personally thinks it is noteworthy to mention that the Marfat never singles out any religious, ethnic, or ideological group for praise or condemnation.
The Marfat consists of 67 books each containing a varying number of verses (the smallest book has 3, the longest has 142). Furthermore, each book contains a commentary by the founder of his close associates. Although not part of the scripture itself, these commentaries are considered an inseperable part of the Marfat.
