BYW Rulz or (BYWR) is a backyard wrestling social, media-sharing online forum community that was created by Shawn Selby in January 2010. As a new social place, the community's main purpose is to gather those who share a strong interest and passion for backyard wrestling, and who involve themselves for the enjoyment.

History
Establishment
In January 2010, Ronus Championship Wrestling backyard wrestler Shawn Selby counter-acted against many getting harshly criticized for their backyard wrestling skill level including morely himself on the Global Backyard Wrestling News (GBYWN) site and opted to open up his own forum that was entitled Backyard Wrestling Rulz.
Selby preferred the convenience of a non-political at-ease forum where practitioners of the hobby could unite without drama and share their affection, passion and enjoyment for what they share doing on leisure time. The forum was created around the same time as Spot Monkey as GBYWN began a stand-still in activity and has collected a few members, however, no where on par with other communities.
