Story

Prologue: The End of the Beginning of the End

Part 9-1: Haunting the Past

Centuries ago, on Mt. Coronet, an Umbreon named Brenleno and his Rotom assistant named Tento were making a potion. The potion would supposedly give Brenleno eternal life, and according to a death clock he had, he would die soon. The potion, however, created a dark Mew that gave eternal life "in the afterlife". It flew up and blasted Mt. Coronet, destroying a good portion of it and killing Brenleno and Tento.

In the present time, Top was singing badly when Topper tried to stop him. Topper's Platinum Shroom rang, and he engaged in defenestration (using Top). He answered his PS, and on the other side was Rening, who was sensing an evil presence. Rening wanted them to come down and help him investigate, so they got ready to head to the Pokeworld.

Chapter 1: I'M SO EMOTIONAL!

Part 9-2: Verily Doth Evil Cometh

When they arrived in Twinleaf Town, they saw Professor Rowan with Rening. After learning they still didn't know what the problem was, a time machine fell down on Topper and Tig IX came out. After introductions, they had lunch. Lunch was interrupted by an explosion to the northwest, and everyone rushed there. Meanwhile, at Lake Verity, Mesprit was being kidnapped by Cassidy and Butch of Team Rocket! The group got there, but they managed to escape while some other Rocket Grunts attacked them.

Part 9-3: Rocket Battle 1

The heroes fought against a Crobat, Venomoth, Abomasnow, Aerodactyl and Lairon. Once they were defeated, they hurried to Lake Valor.

Chapter 2: Prepare for Trouble...

Part 9-4: Some Anime Title! Blaarg!

The action randomly switched to Ash, Brock and Dawn of the anime. And they were traveling when Jessie, James and Meowth appeared. After their motto, they were defeated and went blasting off again. When they crashed elsewhere, however, they saw some other Rocket members apparently waiting for Cassidy and Butch to arrive. They were late, though, so Jessie, James and Meowth went to try and kidnap it instead.

Part 9-5: Will They Succeed?

Team Rocket's first attempt sent them blasting off again, but the second time they used Wobbuffet to knock Azelf's attack back at it, immobilizing it. They then placed it in a capsule, and brought it to the other members. Just then, Cassidy and Butch appeared; they started arguing when the heroes arrived, but Team Rocket got away with Azelf and more grunts appeared to fight.

Part 9-6: Rocket Battle 2

The heroes fought against some Rocket's Electrode, Shiftry, Tentacruel, Gallade, and Skarmory. They then rushed north to try and stop them from kidnapping Uxie.

Chapter 3: Knowledge is Power

Part 9-7: Make it Quintuple!

At the Team Rocket Office Building, Jessie, James and Meowth encountered Butch and Cassidy and began arguing again when the door they were near opened up and Giovanni spoke to them, only in the distorted version of the early days of the anime. Giovanni told the five of them to work together to get Uxie, then told them to leave. Meanwhile, the heroes were making their way to Lake Acuity as fast as they could; when they arrived, though, they were too late, as they had Uxie, and prepared to fight them.

Part 9-8: Rocket Battle 3

The heroes began to fight against Jessie, James, Cassidy and Butch's Pokemon, and although it seemed like the heroes were winning, Butch had Shuckle use Sandstorm so that they could escape. Luckily, they had put a tracking device on them so they could follow them. Meanwhile, at the Team Rocket Base, Giovanni now had Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf...

Chapter 4: The Space-Time Continuum

Part 9-9: BOSS GIOVANNI would like to battle!

The heroes burst through a door into a room, only to find it was a broom closet, many of which they had found. Top began to get annoyed and opened another door, expecting another broom closet, and then closed it. In fact, it had Giovanni with Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf inside! Topper quickly kicked open the door, and they headed inside. Giovanni sent out a Nidoking, Kingler, Houndoom and Tyranitar. Before they had even finished the battle, Giovanni finished making a red chain and began to escape; they quickly ended the fight and freed Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, then went after Giovanni.

Part 9-10: The New Master of Time and Space

At the Spear Pillar, Giovanni had just brought forth Dialga and Palkia when the heroes arrived and Tron paralyzed him. Giovanni shouted something about not needing this weakling anymore, and revealed to be Nocktor having possessed Giovanni! It was also revealed that Nocktor and absorbed Giratina and its abilities, and began fighting the heroes. During the fight, however, Nocktor realized he was wasting his time and grabbed Diagla and Palkia with his hands; he then absorbed them and their power; he then formed a hole in space that he went through. Stuffwell said that if left unchecked, the hole could destroy the world, and Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf went over to try and hold it down. The heroes then went through the hole to try and go after Nocktor.

Chapter 5: Future Shock

Part 9-11: Tron’s Game

When the heroes landed, they found themselves in an alley. Scorch couldn't figure out when or where they were, but then a Sandslash appeared trying to shoo them away. They learned the Sandslash was Tig VI, and was in fact the story's Tig's Great Grandfather. Tron was also there, but now a Magnezone. They learned they were in the year 3000, and Tig VI introduced them to his co-workers. Once that was done, they got back on track looking for Nocktor, and learned that a Haunter had been seen recently flying into space.

Unfortunately, there was a fuel shotage, so the only way to get into space was to enter a tournament hosted by Hedolax, the grand prize of which was Ho-Oh Fire Fuel. They signed up under Team Star Direct, and went off to fight against Team Yafor, led by Bobino XX's dark side, Yafor XX. At least three of his fighters were Chinese.

Part 9-12: Okay, So The Last Name Was Misleading. Big Deal.

Team Star Direct fought against Team Yafor, defeating them, after which they fought against The Steel Devil, a Heatran. During the fight, The Steel Devil turned it into a song, but was still defeated in the end.

Part 9-13: Obliteration

The final challenger was a massive Steelix named the Obliterator, a war game Steelix. Although it seemed unbeatable, Mawlee snuck below the arena and found her old martial arts instructor, Gonk, controlling it. She began to fight him, and in the end, managed to destroy his control panel controlling the Obliterator, and Team Star Direct won. With that, they got the Ho-Oh Fire Fuel. Unfortunately, Top dropped it, caught the story on fire, and next thing anyone knew they were flying on a giant Ho-Oh through space.

Meanwhile, on the Dimbus, Zap Brannchu was wondering what planet to attack next when he saw Mawlee on a giant Ho-Oh coming their way. Just then, however, the ship began to be rocked by explosions; they were under attack by Nocktor! The heroes came into the ship and encountered Nocktor, who yelled at them and escaped through a portal. The heroes jumped through, leaving the future characters behind.

Chapter 6

Chapter 6-1: Part 9-14: When Sneak Attacks!

They found themselves at the Bitlands, and began to go through the 2-D area. Tron got a Mega Star and turned into Planet Tron, then had to fight a giant 8-bit Bowser. They later went underground and Top glitched himself through the wall. Tron blasted it down with Zap Cannon, and they were almost attacked by a Missingno. but hurried through a pipe. They ended up in Old-Timey world, where they saw Old-Timey Strong Bad, The Strong Man, and The Sneak. Old-Timey Scorch and Old-Timey Strong Bad had a duel, but there was no more script written.

Chapter 6-2: Part 9-15: Goops Ahoy!

The heroes fell into the Tile Pool and began to make their way through. Gooper Blooper appeared, and they defeated it and whatnot.

Chapter 6-3: Part 9-16: Make Like a Tree

This part sucked. Nothing occured.

Chapter 6-4: Part 9-17: The Skirmish of Fort Francis

When they arrived to Fort Francis, they heard an explosion inside. Just before they had arrived, Nocktor appeared and began to attack Francis and his Meowmaids. The heroes rushed in and began to battle Nocktor, and Francis actually helped somewhat. In the end, Nocktor escaped through another portal, and the heroes followed, leaving Francis to clean up.

Chapter 7: 5000 Years in the Making

Part 9-18: IT’S RAINING DRAGONS!

Next the heroes found themselves in a canyon area, and found they were in the year 3000 BZ. Just then, a Rayquaza came flying at them, and they all scattered. Unfortunately, this separated them, and Scorch and Top were stuck together. Meanwhile, Regirock, Regice and Registeel appeared to fight against a Dark Mew, the Nocktor of the past. Past Nocktor attacked the Regis, then Regigigas dropped in out of nowhere. Top and Scorch kept getting caught in the middle of the fights, so they ran from the battle. Regigigas was defeated, but then Darkrai attacked.

Part 9-19: I Dream of Doom

Meanwhile, Topper, Tron and Yolky were looking for the others--sort of--when Darkrai almost crashed into them, causing them to run off. Past Nocktor kept attacking Darkrai, but Cresselia appeared to stop the attack and helped out Darkrai. Topper was almost hit by an Ice Beam, and when Past Nocktor mentioned Zap Cannon, Tron went crazy and fired Zap Cannons everywhere. One almost hit Past Nocktor, which caused it to attack Topper, Tron and Yolky, and they ran off. They were almost hit with an explosion, though, so they ran off one more time, Topper using Agility to carry them far off. Past Nocktor was able to defeat Darkrai and Cresselia, but then an Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres appeared.

Part 9-20: Kill Three Birds with One Outrage

Tig and Oshy were also separated from everyone, but up above them the fight raged on, now Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres versus Past Nocktor. Oshy and Tig were nearly hit, and Tig wanted to go help, but Oshy said they'd stand very little chance since they're separated. Articuno fell, but was able to get back up and they slammed Past Nocktor into the ground near Oshy and Tig. Past Nocktor blasted up, sending Oshy and Tig flying away. Later, Past Nocktor defeated all three birds with Outrage, but then Lugia appeared and hit Past Nocktor with Aeroblast. The part ended with a massive Sacred Fire hitting it.

Part 9-21: The Battle Ends

Lucky watched as Ho-Oh entered the battle, but Plasshi was busy trying to find Yolky to pay much attention. They were hit by a Hydro Pump and washed away, though. A Mew then appeared to fight Past Nocktor, but it smashed the Mew downwards and it hit where Plasshi and Lucky were, knocking them into Top and Scorch. A white Butterfree then appeared in the sky and began to fight Past Nocktor; soon after, the ground under the heroes exploded and the current Nocktor, as well as Rening, bursted out, fighting. The heroes crashed into Oshy and Tig, and then Topper (covered in oil), Tron and Yolky came in. Rening and Nocktor continued to fight until Nocktor saw them all and pointlessly escaped again; they went after it while the Past Nocktor was defeated and killed by the legendaries, disappearing.

Chapter 8: A Long-Frost Friend

Part 9-22: A Mammoth of a Problem

The heroes found themselves with a soft landing this time around, though it was very, very cold. They were at an icy wasteland with snow 1-2 feet high and no sun, though there was a beautiful aurora in the sky. They realized they needed to find shelter before they froze, so they began to trudge forward. Unfortunately, after an hour of walking, it began to blizzard. Therefore, Topper began to spin around and use Blaze Kick to melt the surrounding snow.

Unfortunately, Topper accidently hit a Mamoswine, which got angry and attacked them. They ended up having more trouble than you would expect, with the Mamoswine trapping them in the snow and some of Scorch's Plasma Grenades accidently hitting them. Just then, a group of Sneasel appeared, which succeeded in getting the Mamoswine to leave. However, they then pointed their claws at the heroes threateningly.

Part 9-23: This Finally Explains It!

After a few minutes, one of the Sneasel asked if they were friendly; they said yes, and the Sneasel told them to follow them. After some walking, they came across a Sneasel Village, and there they saw the last person they expected: Sneen! Nocktor's last portal had brought them to th Ice Underworld, where Sneen was sent when he died. Leila was there too, and they now had a baby Sneasel son.

Meanwhile, however, Topper had begun crying at the fact that everyone seems to find love but him. Lucky caught him, but he quickly tried to deny it. He then said they should revisit Sneen as much as they could, since they wouldn't be there very long.

Part 9-24: ‘Til Death Do Us Together

The revisiting had to be cut short when they remembered Nocktor was somewhere in the dimension, so they went to get help from the mayor, Wayvor, to go find Nocktor. Unfortunately, Nocktor found them first and began to attack the village, so they began to retaliate. During the fight, Sneen came to help, but Nocktor killed him; soon after, he fell from out of nowhere! Because he was already dead, he would just keep coming back repeatedly. Nocktor got angry so he left through another portal; the heroes said their final farewell to Sneen, and left through the portal, leaving Sneen to live his new life...

Chapter 9: We'll Fight 'Till Our Games End

Part 9-25:

The heroes found themselves at a massively large white area, as if it was a blank canvas but the painter died before he started painting. Danny somehow appeared. During the fight, Nocktor blasted a hole in the "ground" but then soon realized he was wasting his time with them and telepoted out of there, leaving them in an empty void forever.

Part 9-26: Try To Add Some More Syllables

Just then, a British Top appeared out from the hole! He called over to the characters, and told them to come down into the hole. Inside they saw themselves, only each one was a variation of a different culture (see character list). They explained they were at the year "infinity" which is after the universe ends, but also after time ends. Apparently there was a 1% chance of time messing up and sending you outside time, but they who were at this year infinity knew of a place they could be sent back into time and stop Nocktor.

Part 9-27: The Wild White Yonder

They were all still arguing when French Topper took out a compass they could use to locate the portal; once they did, a Tanooki Tiki, Taniki, appeared and challenged them to a cook-off. They agreed, and cooked Taniki. They then went through the portal to the final chapter.

Chapter 10: A Dimension of Two Tales

Part 9-28: Crossovers Always Fight

Meanwhile, in the 1576 Kingdom Dimension, Peggy Koopa was having Ching Chong work on a device that caused dimensional problems which meant Team Awesome's portal-goings got messed up and sent them down the wrong path. Meanwhile, the tear caused the heroes of this story to go off-course and they crashed into Team Awesome. After introductions, they accidently got thrown into a clichéd fight between one another.

Top overheard Wally Plotch mention Team Awesome, and immediately left the story to come up with his own Team name, which he settled on Team TOT. Topper misfired and dragged Fungus underground, and the fight randomly ended. They got a call from Topper's Platinum Shroom, and found out Topper and Fungus were stuck underground, so they went to get them.

Part 9-29: Smother the Brats in Dijon Mustard and Sauerkraut

Weasel used some C4 to blast a hole and they went underground. Pyro and a fuzzy advertised, then Topper and Fungus appeared. They went down a floor to get to a geyser, and found Emperor Bulbmin, which they had to fight. They also had to fight a mysterious pink pod, but both were beaten and they headed into the geyser. Instead they found a portal, though, and headed in to who-knows-where.

Part 9-30: Where the Crap Are We?

Team Awesome and Team TOT fell out of the portal into some brown, smelly... whatsit. Ew. Anyway, they got showered off, then Tron spoiled the plot: Homestar had a Dimensional Teleporter they needed to get but he sold it to Bubs Concession Stand, so they go to him and buy something useless then go to the House of the Brothers Strong, Club Technochocolate, and the King of Town's Castle to get items they need to make a new dimensional teleporter, but Rening would sense something and they'd go to the tracks where they'd encounter a fight.

The "something useless" was actually a blue jewel that Fungus seemed to recognize, so they bought it. They then headed to the House of the Brothers Strong, where they learned the dimensional teleporter was broken. They therefore had to go get a blender and something random, although Strong Sad said you can't make a teleporter with just that.

Part 9-31: Way-O, Way-O

They arrived at the King of Town's Castle, where they obtained a blender. They then went to Club Technochocolate, where, in order to get inside, Topmonhit forced Fireflower to use Bewious for a short time. They then entered, and obtained a glowstick. They were about to activate their "dimensional teleporter" when Rening felt an evil presence. They hurried to the track, where they found Coach Z, apparently possessed. One hit knocked him out, and Nocktor came out.

Just then the incomplete Grand Star floated at Nocktor. Pyro had a spaztic burst of history: Apparently when eight or more star pieces (the items Team Awesome was collecting) were together, it can sense an evil presence and will try to dispell said evil presence. If it failed, it would become useless and die until the heroes reobtained it. And it did just that. Nocktor then took the pieces and teleported away to The 1576 Kingdom Novel.

Team Awesome and Team TOT tried to activate their teleporter, but it blew up in their faces. Strong Sad then appeared, telling them he told them they couldn't make a teleporter with a blender and glowstick, but he did buy them an actual teleporter from Bubs. His only request was that they take him with them, but before he finished speaking, they were already gone.

Note: More events occured in The 1576 Kingdom Novel after this, but are not considered an official part of this story. It involved them traveling through Temple Tip and Nocktor reactivating the star pieces using the temple.

Part 9-32: Part 9-32: Crash of Externally Demented This Took Four Months wtc [SUPERSIZED]

Just then everyone appeared on a large platform in a strange, interdimensional world with the platform heading towards a black hole. Thus, the two teams had to defeat Nocktor before time ran out, and despite terrible odds, in the end they were able to get the star pieces back and blast nocktor into the black hole instead, destroying him once and for all. Everything turned out okay and they said farewell and went back to their respective lands and stuff.

Beta Elements

The story's plot had a complete overhaul from the original; originally, there was no time travel or dimensional travel, and instead, when The Yoshi Bodyguards got to the Pokeworld they would have blacked out, and after coming to, they'd have all turned into Pokemon except for those who were already Pokemon, who would have turned into creatures from Star World. Beldam and Marilyn were planned to appear as well, working for Nocktor for some reason, as well as Bloo, who was now a part of The Shadow Sirens. The plot involved Nocktor being able to control Pokemon, which was why the YBs were turned into Pokemon. Ironically enough, the Shadow Sirens would appear in Unity of the Shadows, which occured at the exact same time as this one.

Trivia

  • Although Chapter five was the first time Top, Oshy and Topper were signed up under a team name, Top would later come up with their official team name as Team TOT in Chapter ten.
  • Chapter 10 came nearly a month after chapter 9 due to it being a crossover with the 1576 Kingdom Novel, but Fireflower lost his computer when Chapter 9 ended. Because of this, Story 10 was begun instead and when Fireflower finally got a new computer, Chapter 10 finally began. During the final part of that chapter, however, Fireflower had so little time that it took months before it was finished.
  • Emperor Bulbmin was originally planned to be a boss in a Pikmin RP that never went anywhere.
  • Part 9-11: Tron’s Game is a reference to the Futurama movie Bender's Game.
  • The original placeholder name for this story was "Pokemon Platinum 3: Mystery Shadow Dungeon".

Connections to Other Stories

  • The story finishes the Pokemon Platinum Story Arc, the first story of which, ironically, had nothing to do with this story.
  • Sneen previously had died in Icy Heart of Darkness! The Final Story of Sneen! Despite the name of said story, he returned in this one was sort of an honoring of him, sort of a one-final-appearance sort of thing.
  • The final chapter was a crossover with The 1576 Kingdom Novel.
