Psycho BS Episode 4
Joel sets upon building the New Bonus Stage. Rya and Phil drive over to New Jersey to pick up a new character.

Transcript
(intro to opening credits (ya know, that bit where the Season 1 intro for BS1 breaks off))
(A wild montage of scenes from the plot start playing.)
KOKOR: Previously on Psycho Bonus Stage...
(quotes from earlier episodes start playing.)
JOEL: All of Bonus Stage could be destroyed if we don't hurry!
PHIL (in Rya's Season 5 voice): Hey Jessica, do you know where the remote is?
RYA: Why the hell am I Rya?
BS PHIL AND RYA: (simultaneously) You ruined Bonus Stage for a stupid invention?!!!?!
HS KOKOR: Welcome...to Earth!
JOEL: It's a little game I like to call...Panda Resistance 2!
HS EVIL: How 'bout we just team up to defeat those two?
BIG FAT GUY: I'M BIG FAT GUY!
ANNOUNCER & AUDIENCE: GUESS THAT PLACE!!!!
(The montage of scenes stop, cut to Phil, Rya and Joel in the living room.)
PHIL: Our story was kind of the same.
(roll opening credits (except intro))
(cut to Joel's Lab in the High Score universe. Joel is working on something, but it cannot be seen. Phil is standing at the door, angry.)
PHIL: I'd ask what you're working on, but if it was what I think it was, I'd kill you.
JOEL: Then don't ask.
PHIL: Sure, listen, Rya and I are going out- (Joel looks at Phil and smiles) on a walk- (Joel gets slightly sadder) to talk about what happened.
(Joel becomes sad. A thought bubble appears from Joel saying "There goes another forced relationship down the drain.")
JOEL: Sure, whatever. I better have a rest, to get my happy mood back on.
PHIL: Why do you have to be happy to work on an invention?
JOEL: Cause who knows what I could do in my sad mood.
PHIL: Good point, well, see ya!
(cut to a view of an aeroplane over Charismaville. An arrow with the words "Phil's House" is pointing on one of the houses. Stay in this scene for a few seconds, then cut to inside the plane. Psychosis is playing Trackmania Sunrise alone on his laptop, headphones plugged into it are playing an extended version of the season 5 theme of the original Bonus Stage.)
AEROPLANE CAPTAIN: We will be landing at New Jersey in 10 minutes.
(Psychosis takes off his headphones to hear the message, then puts them back on)
(Cut to Phil and Rya in a car, Phil being the driver. Rya is next to him.)
PHIL: That was certainly the greatest adventure we'd ever had.
RYA: Yeah, actually. (pause) Where are we?
PHIL: You know how I said that someone new was coming into Bonus Stage 2?
RYA: Yeah, and you seemed pretty angry about it.
PHIL: Well, we're picking him up from the airport.
RYA: Where does he come from?
PHIL: Australia.
RYA: Oh no, I hate their slang.
PHIL: This kid doesn't use slang, and he's only 14 years old.
RYA: Wow. Only fourteen? Jeez, that's a little young for a simulation, don't you think?
PHIL: Probably not. He's the gamer type. Trust me when I say computers are his life.
RYA: ...Isn't that a little obsessive?
PHIL: Yeah. But that's just him.
RYA: Mmmm.
(cut to New Jersey Airport (It's my fanfiction, shut up!). Psychosis is taking his luggage. Slow pan to outside, to see Phil and Rya parked outside the exit. Pan back to Psychosis pushing the door open. He notices the car, and walks over to it. As he puts his luggage in the back of the car,)
PSYCHOSIS: Hey there. Thanks for picking me up.
PHIL: That's ok.
PSYCHOSIS: It's not like I could just walk over to Charismaville.
RYA: Yeah, that'd be a real pain.
(Psychosis opens the back door and sits down behind Rya. He opens his backpack and retrieves his laptop. He presses the power button, and while waiting for it to load up, Phil starts the car and starts driving.)
PHIL: So how come you wanted to join us in Bonus Stage?
RYA: Bonus Stage 2.
PSYCHOSIS: I dunno. Wacky adventures, great people...I guess I like BS just for the fun.
PHIL: Understandable. Some of the time it is fun, but we do have our fair share of disappointments.
PSYCHOSIS: Guess what? So do I. Everyone does every once in a while.
RYA: (smiles) Yeah, I guess.
(cut to Joel working on his machine. It is large and is now visible. Finally Joel stops working.)
JOEL: I think I deserve a good ol' game of TMS.
(Cut back to Phil, Rya and Psychosis in the car. Psychosis is playing Trackmania again.)
PHIL: You should start a multiplayer game, and try and get Joel to join.
PSYCHOSIS: I don't get what you mean.
PHIL: You both have bluetooth on your laptops, hopefully you can hook up and introduce each other.
PSYCHOSIS: Can do Phil.
(cut to Elly's house. She is reading something on a mobile phone.)
ELLY: So we're finally going back in. Took some time, though...wonder why?
(June enters, trying to fix up her hair.)
JUNE: He had to rebuild the program, you know.
ELLY: Really? That thing that happened did that much damage?
JUNE: Yeah, apparently. (lobs the brush to Elly) You might want to fix up your hair. Unless you like looking like a wild cannibal or something.
ELLY: Hey, what did I ever do to you?
JUNE: You made me sleep in your house.
ELLY: So, it wasn't-
(A sound of a car slowing to a stop can be heard. Both girls look at the door.)
ELLY: Wonder who that is?
JUNE: Haven't you heard? Someone new is coming into Bonus Stage 2.
ELLY: Who told you?
JUNE: Phil did. It's kind of a secret to Joel, so don't tell him.
ELLY: Let's go have a look.
(cut to outside Elly's House. June and Elly open the door and look outside. Zoom out to include the car that had just stopped.)
JUNE: Hey Phil. Hey Rya. Who's the new guy?
(Psychosis steps out of the car and shakes June's hand.)
PSYCHOSIS: The name's Psychosis. But my real name's Simon. Nice to meet you.
RYA: This is our newcomer. He's only fourteen.
JUNE: ...You sure?
PHIL: Yeah.
PSYCHOSIS: Hey Elly, you mind if I come over to your place? I have a game to finish.
ELLY: Umm....
JUNE: (whispered to Elly) Computer freak.
(Cut to Joel, Elly, June, Phil and Rya in Joel's Lab.)
JOEL: Right, so we all ready to move back in?
PHIL: Sure Joel, let's just get going already.
JOEL: This time, Bonus Stage is easier to access. Don't ask how I did it, it's too scientific for me to explain. Okay, now everyone touch the box, (everyone does so) while I push this button. (Joel pushes a big red button, everyone fades out.)
(pause)
(Psychosis enters from the door. He moves towards the machine sneakily. He grabs some kind of communicator from the machine and speaks into it.)
PSYCHOSIS: Phil, am I safe to enter?
(short pause)
PHIL: (from communicator) Yeah, come on in.
(Psychosis grabs hold of a corner of the machine and presses the button. Psychosis fades out. Scene fades out.)
PROGRAM CHECK
INITIALISING.
...
...
INITIALISED.
CHECKING FOR VIRUS...
...
NO VIRUSES. SAFE TO CONTINUE.
PRESS BUTTON TO CONTINUE.
(pause)
JOEL: I probably shouldn't have put that "Press button to continue" line in.
(roll ending credits)
