The card featured matches that resulted from scripted storylines and had results predetermined by WIW on the Rage brand. Storylines were produced on WIW's weekly television shows Wednesday Night Rage and Dynamites Live, the latter of which is dynamite division-exclusive.
At SummerBash, Tyler Mane defeated Kevin McAlmond, Matt Borske and Dustin Simpson in the second fall of the Fatal 4-Way match to retain the WIW World Championship. The following Wednesday on Rage, Mane, Scout Taylor-Compton and Mane's wife, Renae Geerlings came out to celebrate the victory. They were interrupted by the International Champion Kevin McAlmond who told Mane that he would be coming after what's "his" soon enough. They were both then interrupted by frustrated Simpson who first blamed McAlmond about him not being able to challenge for the International Championship, then told McAlmond to stay out of his business and attacked Mane, leaving him laying. Later in the show, it was announced that Mane would defend the WIW World Championship against Simpson at No Remorse. The following week, Mane issued a warning to Simpson. Later in the show, McAlmond sent an open challenge for the WIW International Championship to anyone that wants to answer before confronting Simpson about his attitude towards the group and the two soon brawled backstage before being seperated by officals.
On the August 23 episode of Rage, Daniel O'Brien made his return to the Rage brand for the first time since his return from injury to ShowDown. Daniel Gonzalez and Evovled Revolution then came down to confront O'Brien and told him that he didn't deserve to be on "his show" before attacking him, Ryan Barnhart made the save, a tag team match was sceduled where O'Brien and Barnhart defeated Gonzalez and Tobol. The following week, O'Brien and Gonzalez had a contract signing for a match at No Remorse. O'Brien happily signed the contract while Gonzalez was reluctant to do so. After a heated back and forth argument of words, Gonzalez finally signed the contract before the two began brawling with each other, Evolved Revolution came out and gang attacked O'Brien, until Barnhart and McAlmond made the save, a six-man tag team match for the week after.
