Storylines

The card will include matches that result from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Results are predetermined by WIW's writers on the Rage and ShowDown brands, with storylines produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and Thursday Night ShowDown.

At Steel Roulette, The Larsons (Steven Larson and Tom Larson) defeated Joe Linderman and Turf Finnegan to win their record fourth WIW Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. On the following episode of ShowDown, Linderman, who was pinned, apologized to Turf for costing them the match. He then said that although there were no more automatic rematch clauses, he begged Turf to give them a rematch since Turf had the power to do so. The Larsons interrupted and insulted Linderman, after which, Turf scheduled a rematch for the titles at Final Fight.

On the February 14 episode of ShowDown, The Dooms Day's Steve Britz was a last minute replacement for an injured Travis Capps in the six-man gauntlet match where the winner would be the last entrant in the WIW Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match at the pay-per-view. Britz eliminated WIW Heavyweight Champion Mark Semmler in the first match of the gauntlet match. At Steel Roulette, the championship match came down to Semmler and Britz, where Semmler eliminated Britz to retain the title. On the following episode of ShowDown, Britz was granted a WIW Heavyweight Championship match at Final Fight by Turf for securing the pinfall victory over Semmler in a six-man tag team match that pitted Britz, Kevin Hunter, and Devin Sullivan against Semmler, Peter Damrow, and Brent Huntley. The following week, however, Rex Martin interrupted the contract signing between Semmler and Britz. Martin praised Britz for all his accomplishments in WIW, and scheduled Semmler to face Dustin Simpson and if Simpson won, he'd be added to the match. Later that evening, Simpson defeated Semmler to get added to the match, thus making it a Triple threat match at Final Fight. However before the match took place, Martin replaced Britz with Capps and forced Britz to compete in a Handicap match.

At Steel Roulette, The Charles 'N' Carter Connection Alicia Charles and Julie Carter defeated The Matteson Sisters (Kaila Matteson and McKaulie Matteson), The Hope Squad (represented by Dianna Agron and Rachele Brooke Smith), The Evolved Iconics (Brook Slevin and Margaret Lamoreux), Sarah Hicks and Kadee Jones and Scout Compton and Renae Geerlings in a tag team Elimination Chamber match to become the inaugural holders of the WIW Women's Tag Team Championship. The following Wednesday on Rage, their championship celebration was interrupted by Compton and Geerlings, and Compton taunted Charles and Carter about not being able win a singles championship, saying they won't even last as tag team champions on their first title defenses. The following week, The Charles 'N' Carter Connection were scheduled to defend the championship against Compton and Geerlings at Final Fight.

On the February 21 episode of ShowDown, during a backstage segment, ShowDown Heavyweight Women's Champion Emily Taflan was interrupted by Kaila Matteson and McKaulie Matteson. McKaulie challenged Taflan to a non-title match and defeated her due to a distraction by Ashley Boland. The following week, McKaulie was granted a championship match against Taflan at Final Fight.

At the World War, Ali Richards was unsuccessful in regaining the ShowDown Heavyweight Women's Championship, but later entered the women's World War Rumble match and won by last eliminating Avery Gold, despite injuring her own knee and shoulder. The next night on Raw, Richards confronted Rage World Women's Champions Sis Bates and chose to face her at SuperBrawl XI. Richards then refused a medical examination on her knee and shoulder after a brawl with Gold on ShowDown. Newly appointed Corporate Family member, Sandy Martin gave Richards an ultimatum: have her injuries examined or be suspended until she does. Richards still refused and attacked both Sandy and Rex Martin. The following Rage, it was revealed that Richard had been medically cleared; after she apologized for the attacks, the suspension was lifted, however, Dixie Finnegan overruled Rex and Sandy Martin by suspending Richards for 60 days and replaced her with Gold as Bates' WrestleMania opponent. On the February 27 episode of Rage, Richards was arrested after attacking Bates; Bates then demanded that Richards be reinstated and left the championship in the ring. The following week, Sandy and Dixie declared the title vacant, reinstated Richards, and scheduled a match between her and Gold for the championship at Final Fight. Later on, however, Bates protested that she did not vacate the title and was only trying to send a message, prompting Dixie to hand her back the title belt and change the stipulation of the Final Fight match: if Richards won, she would be added back into the championship match at WrestleMania to make it a triple threat match.

On the October 24, 2018 episode of Rage, Kevin McAlmond was attacked by Eric Stevens, who since of 2017 had debuted in WIW aligning himself with his girlfriend, Victoria Lehr and the Lehr Family, putting McAlmond through two stacked tables, injurying him in the process. Later that night, McAlmond's teammates Kooper McAlmond and Ryan Barnhart won the Rage World Tag Team Championship, but a rift between, due to Daniel Gonzalez saying that Kooper thought himself better then Barnhart. Kooper and Barnhart then fought over the next couple of months along with Gonzalez, with their feud culminating at TLC: Christmas Horror Feast, where McAlmond defeated Stevens in a Christmas Chaos Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to strip the Lehr family of all authoritative power. Later that night, Barnhart defeated Kooper and Gonzalez to win the WIW International Championship. On the February 27, 2019 episode of Rage, McAlmond tried to get Barnhart and Kooper to reform The Grim Reapers at lease one more time, but neither would accept it. The following week, Kevin called out Kooper in another attempt to reunite The Grim Reapers. Kooper reluctantly agreed since it would mean having to team with Barnhart again. Later, after Barnhart was defeated by Aaron Kelly , Kevin and Kooper came out, but Barnhart exited through the crowd. Eric Stevens, Quay Painter, and Daniel Gonzalez along with Evolved Revolution then ambushed Kevin and Kooper, after which, Barnhart returned and aided his former brothers. After gaining the upperhand, Barnhart joined Kevin and Kooper for the signature Grim Reapers fist bump and a six-man tag team match pitting the reunited Shield against Stevens, Painter and Gonzalez was scheduled for Final Fight.

On the February 13 episode of Rage, The Hawaiian Blondes (Ben Wilson and Kody Baker) defeated Jordan Keltz and Keith Coleman to win the Rage World Tag Team Championship. The following week, NGW call-ups Cody Koffman and Bradlee Woehl made their main roster debuts, and then defeated The Hawaiian Blondes in a non-title match on the February 27 episode. On the March 6 episode, Koffman and Woehl were granted a Rage World Tag Team Championship match against The Hawaiian Blondes, but it ended in disqualification after Keltz and Coleman attacked The Hawaiian Blondes. A triple threat tag team championship match between the three teams was then scheduled for Final Fight.

After several weeks of feuding, a match between Quinn Noel and Richard Munoz was scheduled for the Final Fight pre-show.

On March 9, a tag team match pitting The Dooms Day (represented by Marc Beltran and Brandon) against Corbin Edwards and Jeffery Mahana was scheduled for the Final Fight pre-show.
