SuperBrawl XI will be the eleventh annual SuperBrawl professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Incorporated Wrestling for the Rage, ShowDown and Dynamite Live brands. It will take place on April 7, 2019 at Butte Civic Center in Butte, Montana.

Production

Background

SuperBrawl is considered WIW's flagship event, having been described as the Super Bowl of wrestling.

On the March 13 episode of Rage, current wrestler Brenah McAlmond-Quinn was revealed as the host of SuperBrawl XI. On the following episode, Aaron Kelly announced that he would have a musical performance at the event.

Celebrity involvement

As is tradition, WrestleMania 35 will feature multiple celebrities taking part in the event. On the March 6 episode of Rage, Nick Cannon and Conceited of Wild 'n' Out (WnO) were introduced as special correspondents for the event, and were later entered into the Brian McAlmond and Glenn Martin Memorial Trophy.

Storylines

The card will include matches that result from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters on the Rage, ShowDown, and Dynamites Live brands, to build tension, culminating in a wrestling match or series of matches. Storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and Thursday Night ShowDown, and the cruiserweight-exclusive Dynamites Live.

Main event matches

At the World War, Kooper McAlmond and Money in the Bank winner Kevin McAlmond (who attacked Joe Smith and took his #30 to get to Stevens) co-won the men's World War Rumble match by last eliminating Eric Stevens, thus both earning a choice of a world championship match of either Rage's World Championship or ShowDown's Heavyweight Championship at SuperBrawl XI. On January 28, 2019, in WIW.com exclusive interview, Rex Martin revealed that if Kooper and Kevin choose the same champion, it would be a Triple threat elimination match at SuperBrawl XI. The following Wednesday night on Rage, Rex Martin gave both Kevin and Kooper until the end of the night to choose which champion they wanted to face. Later, Kevin and Kooper confronted both WIW World Champion Tyler Mane and WIW Heavyweight Champion Mark Semmler. After an ensuing brawl broke out between Mane, Kevin and Kooper. Mane laid both Kevin and Kooper out with six of his new finisher; the M-5 on both men. Both made their choices, they both wanted to face Mane for the WIW World Championship at SuperBrawl. On the March 13 episode of Rage, Geerlings reminded both Kooper and Kevin of their previous encounters with Mane and they were attacked by Jason and Jacob, but Kooper and Kevin nonetheless defeated Jason and Jacob in a match.

At Soul Survivor, WIW World Women's Champion Sis Bates defeated WIW Heavyweight Women's Champion Ali Richards by disqualification, when Avery Gold interfered and attacked Bates with a kendo stick, aiding Richards at first, Gold would then turn and attack Richards with the kendo stick also. At TLC: Christmas Horror Feast, Bates got her revenge on both by interfering in the fatal four way Christmas Chaos Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, costing both the match. Richards was unsuccessful in regaining the title at the World War, but later entered the women's World War Rumble match at #28, taking the place of an injured Teresa Turville, and won by last eliminating Gold, despite injuring her own knee and shoulder, thus earning a women's championship match of her choice at SuperBrawl XI. The following Wednesday on Rage, Richards confronted Bates and chose to face her at SuperBrawl. The following night on ShowDown, Richards refused a medical examination on her knee and shoulder after a brawl with Gold. Dixie Finnegan gave Richards an ultimatum: have her injuries examined so she can be cleared to compete at SuperBrawl or be suspended until she does. Richards still refused and was suspended indefinitely, after which, she attacked Dixie, as well as Turf Finnega on ShowDown. On the February 13 episode of Rage, it was revealed that Richard did in fact have her injuries examined and was cleared and her suspension lifted, however, Turf and Dixie told Richards she needed to apologize or she would not go to SuperBrawl. After Richards apologized, however, Glennda McAlmond came out and overruled Turf and Dixie by suspending Richards for 60 days and announced Gold as Richards' replacement at SuperBrawl. Over the next couple of weeks, Richards continued to violate her suspension and attack Bates physically. Following pleas by Bates to reinstate Richard, the suspension was lifted on the March 6 episode of Rage. At Final Fight, an injured Richards defeated Gold by disqualification when Bates attacked Richards. As a result, Richards was added back into the championship match at Superbrawl to make it a triple threat match. On the March 28 episode of SmackDown, after Richards said Gold added nothing to the triple threat match, Gold defeated Taflan to win the ShowDown Heavyweight Women's Championship. On the following episode of Rage, Gold attacked Bates and Richards with her title, prompting Glennda to make the match "winner takes all", with both titles on the line at SuperBrawl.

On the February 14 episode of ShowDown, The Dooms Day's Steven Britz was a last-minute replacement for an injured Travis Capps in a gauntlet match to determine who would enter last in the WIW Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match; Britz pinned Heavyweight Champion Mark Semmler and lasted over an hour before being eliminated. At Steel Roulette, Semmler retained the title in the titular match, with Britz being the last wrestler eliminated. On the following episode of ShowDown, Britz was granted a WIW Heavyweight Championship match at Final Fight after pinning Semmler in a six-man tag team match. The following week, however, Rex Martin adding Dustin Simpson to the WIW Heavyweight Championship match at Final Fight as well. At Final Fight, The Dooms Day confronted Martin and the Corporated family, about the WIW Heavyweight Championship match, which infuriated Martin, who then removed Britz from the match period, but made it know that it would still be a triple threat match, giving Britz the thought that he'd be the third participate still, however, Britz was instead put in a handicap match against The Revolution (Jason Downing and Jacob George) and lost, while Semmler retained the title in his respective match. On the following episode of ShowDown, The Dooms Day again confronted Martin and the Corporate Family, this time Dixie Finnegan said that Britz would have to defeat Brent Huntley, Peter Damrow, Jason Downing, Jacob George, and Truax in a gauntlet match to receive a WIW Heavyweight Championship match at SuperBrawl XI. The following week, Britz won the gauntlet match, but Turf Finnegan then forced him to also wrestle WIW Heavyweight Champion Mark Semmler, who defeated the exhausted Britz.

Undercard matches

On the ShowDown extravaganza special on October 18, 2018, Martin McAlmond and Chris LaGreca made an appearance, confronting each other, LaGreca requested to McAlmond on them having one more match, but McAlmond said he has his authority position to focus on, he wanted to build WIW into a new era. The two had a tense staredown, before LaGreca seemed to have let it go and told McAlmond to focus on making the company something speical for the future, seemingly showing that there was no ill will between the two and a match would not happen. However, on the February 27, 2019 episode of Rage, during a tag team match involving McAlmond's brother Kevin McAlmond and cousin, Kooper McAlmond, LaGreca attacked both and put them through tables, and LaGreca asked if Martin McAlmond had his attention. McAlmond called out LaGreca on the March 13 episode of Rage, where LaGreca stated that he wanted his final match to be on his own terms. He challenged McAlmond to a match at SuperBrawl XI, and McAlmond accempted as a No Holds Barred match. The following week, LaGreca explained why he wanted to face McAlmond and that McAlmond seemed to always underestimate him, saying they've had so many matches, but never official fought, LaGreca said SuperBrawl XI was going to be the greatest night in WIW history, and that he would end McAlmond's wrestling careet at SuperBrawl, before throwing WIW's production crew out of his home.

On the March 13, 2019 episode of Rage, WIW Hall of Famer Rex Martin announced he would have his final wrestling match at SuperBrawl, and on the weeks leading up would have a competing farewell tour. The following week, Martin chose John Lehr as his final opponent, explaining that while there were many opponents he would like to face, Lehr was the only one he wanted to truly beat up. Lehr had caused Martin problems as both shared the Rage General Manager position from 2017–2018, Martin explained that he was gonna make sure Lehr wished his name never came from his mouth at the biggest creation in his family's company.

At All Hail, Turf Finnegan won the WIW World Cup, replacing Joe Linderman in the finals, who was deemed unable to compete due to a pre-match brawl. Following this, Linderman began a pursuit to form a tag team with Turf, claiming that they could become the "best tag team in the world". Turf finally agreed to the pairing, and the two won the WIW Heavyweight Tag Team Championship at the World War. They lost the titles at Steel Roulette, and failed to regain them at Final Fight; in both matches, Linderman was pinned. Following their match at Final Fight, Turf attacked Linderman from behind, turning heel. On the following episode of ShowDown, Turf explained that he was tired of people using him. He claimed that he enjoyed beating up Linderman at Final Fight and wanted to do it again at SuperBrawl XI, and then scheduled a match between himself and Linderman for the event. Linderman responded and said that people had warned him about Turf, but he did not listen. He said Turf was just as terrible as his his family, most noteably, the McAlmond family, and that he would defeat Turf at SuperBrawl.

For several weeks, Kevin Hunter and Brent Huntley interrupted each other's backstage segments on ShowDown, insulting each other. At Steel Roulette, Huntley eliminated Hunter in the Elimination Chamber match. At Final Fight, after Huntley had attacked Aaron Kelly from behind with an Huntley Cutter, he himself was then attacked by Hunter with a Hunted Forearm. On the following episode of ShowDown, Huntley took umbrage with Hunter referring to ShowDown as "the house that Kevin Hunter built and made famous.. bigger than any other brand", since Huntley began his career on ShowDown in 2002 and became very successful, while Hunter, who debuted in WIW's main brand in 2013-2014, spent most of his career on the independent circuit, with Huntley also referencing Hunter's time in Extreme Hardcore Wrestling Federation and WEW Wrestling. Hunter responded by saying that Huntley had everything handed to him because of his wealth in wrestling lineage while Hunter had to actually work for it. Hunter eventually challenged Huntley to a match at WrestleMania 35, which was made official.

Since 2018, Quay Painter has been claiming to have Ryan Barnhart's number ever time they competed, and would end Barnhart's career in their next confrontation. At Final Fight, Barnhart, Kevin McAlmond, and Kooper McAlmond reunited for one last time as The Grim Reapers and defeated the team of Eric Stevens, Quay Painter, and Daniel Gonzalez, and The Grim Reapers performed their signature Triple Powerbomb on Painter through a broadcast table. The following night on Rage, Barnhart was scheduled to face Gonzalez, but Painter attacked Barnhart before the match. One of Barnhart's friends, Joe Smith subsequently returned and faced McIntyre in a falls count anywhere match in a losing effort. The following week, Painter challenged Barnhart to a match at SuperBrawl XI and then defeated Kooper McAlmond later that night, when Tyler Mane distracted Kooper by dragging Kevin McAlmond's lifeless body onto the stage. The following week, Brandon Martin announced he would return for SuperBrawl XI to replace Barnhart, who had been sidelined by injury, after being attacked by Painter and Stevens during training for SuperBrawl.

At Finaly Fight, Peter Damrow retained the United Nations Championship in a fatal four-way match by making Richard Munoz pass out to the Coquina Damrow Clutch. On the following episode of ShowDown, Munoz pinned Damrow in a tag team match.The following week, Damrow was scheduled to defend the championship against Munoz at SuperBrawl.

At Final Fight, Kaila Matteson accidentally caused McKaulie Matteson to lose her Heavyweight Women's Championship match against Emily Taflan. On the following episode of ShowDown, a similar incident happened, but this time with McKaulie accidentally causing Kaila to lose her match against Taflan. The following week, a fatal four-way match between McKaulie, Kaila, Kadee Jones, and Sarah Hicks was scheduled for the March 28 episode, with the winner facing Taflan for the Heavyweight Women's Championship at SuperBrawl XI.

Pre-show matches

On the February 21 episode of Dynamites Live, General Manager Brett Zanto scheduled an ten-man single elimination tournament with the winner facing Nick Reimer for the WIW Dynamite Division Championship at SuperBrawl XI. The tournament began the following week. Cody Bechdol, Park McKinnon, Sayer DeLumeau, Aaron Schmalzried advanced to the semifinals by defeating Ridge Blevins, Brian Tobol, Jon Ganter and Rick Pembroke respectively. Bechdol and Schmalzried then advanced to the finals, which was won by Bechdol.

On the March 6 episode of Rage, Mad Hanson got into a backstage confrontation with WnO's Conceited and Nick Cannon, with Conceited questioning the legitimacy of professional wrestling, resulting in Hanson choke lifting him. The following week, the duo attempted to apologize to Hanson by gifting him a few gifts, only for Hanson to dismantle them. On the March 20 episode, the annual Brian McAlmond and Glenn Martin Memorial Battle Royal was confirmed when Hanson became the first to announce his participation. The following week, while as guests along with Brenah McAlmond-Quinn on "A Moment with Hiatt", Hanson challenged Conceited to enter the battle royal. Cannon agreed on his behalf, and Concieted in turn also agreed that Cannon would enter. As the host of SuperBrawl XI, Brenah McAlmond-Quinn then confirmed that both Conceited and Cannon would be participants in the battle royal.

On March 31, WIW confirmed that the Marjorie Martin and Nancy Phillips Memorial Trophy would occur again at SuperBrawl XI and announced several participants.
