WIW Addicted to Chaos (2017)

Addicted to Chaos (2017) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event, produced by WIW for the Rage brand. It will take place on July 9, 2017 at the Lamere's Arena in Havre, Montana. It will be the first event in the Addicted to Chaos chronology.

The card will include matches resulting from scripted storylines and have results predetermined by WIW on the Rage brand. Storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television show Wednesday Night Rage and Dynamites Live, the latter of which is Dynamite Division-exclusive.

At Final Fight, Tyler Mane defeated Kevin McAlmond to win his first WIW World Championship, after interference from when Jeremy Calvert and other members Evolved Revolution interfered and cost McAlmond the title. The following Wednesday on Rage, McAlmond announced that instead of invoking his rematch for the WIW World Championship, he would challenge Calvert for the WIW International Championship. At SuperBrawl IX, McAlmond defeated Calvert to win the WIW International Championship, and in the same night Mane defeated Michael Phelps and LaGreca in a Triple threat elimination match to retain the WIW World Championship, Mane then went absent from Rage for several weeks due to his status as a part-time wrestler. The following Wednesday on Rage, McAlmond made his intentions clear that he wanted the WIW World Championship back. At Hardcore Heaven, Kevin McAlmond defeated Dustin Simpson, Chris Gomez, Cody McDuffie and Jon Rispens in a Fatal 5-Way Hardcore Heaven Rules match to become the number one contender for the WIW World Championship, while also retaining the WIW International Championship. The following Wednesday on Rage, Mane confronted McAlmond which ended in a brawl between the two, which was broken up by the entire Rage locker room, including the Club of Chaos (of which both men are aligned with). On the June 21 episode of Rage, a video package of Mane and McAlmond was shown, along with footage of them in sit-down interviews where each man talked about their respect for each other and why each have the respect for the stable as well, but both were confident that they could defeat the other, the sit-down interview footage also included McAlmond bringing up the outcome of Final Fight and said that Mane didn't beat him, Evolved Revolution allowed Mane to win the title.

At Chaos Thory, Mad Hanson defeated Dustin Simpson. After their match, Hanson continued to attack Simpson with various weapons including the steel steps, chairs, chains and tables. Immidiatly after as Simpson was about to be taken to a medical facility, Hanson appeared and attepted to attack Simpson, injuring him futer. However, Simpson retaliated and slammed Hanson into a table, hitting him with a chair and using the ambulance door on Hanson's head and shoulder multiple times. The following Wednesday on Rage, General Manager Rex Martin addressed the condition of both Simpson and Hanson and informed the WIW Universe that both men were injured, but were not finished with each other. The following week, Hanson, in a arm sling and neck brace, said that after he was finished with Simpson, he wanted a shot at the WIW World Championship, whoever it may be. Later that night during Hanson's match against Joe Smith which saw interference from Ryan Barnhart attacking Smith. After the match, however, Simpson came out and attacked Hanson, targeting his shoulder and neck with a steel chair, before sending Hanson through the announcers table. It was revealed the Hanson would be out with an injury due to the attack and would be inactive for up to six months. On the June 21 episode of Rage, Simpson announced that he wanted to face whoever the WIW World Champion was at SummberBash. Later that night during a match against Eric Stevens, Hanson returned and cost Simpson his match. After he attacked Simpson, Hanson challenged him to a new type of match in WIW called a Hell on Eath (which will be a type of Cage/Cell match, with the door opened and weapons hanging all around the cage) Ambulance match at Addicted to Chaos, which was made official by Martin later that night.

At Hardcore Heaven, Brittany Hiatt fought Leah to a no contest, retaining the WIW World Women's Championship. The following Wednesday on Rage, General Manager Rex Martin scheudled Hiatt to defend the title against Leah in a rematch. The match ended in a double countout when they brawl through the arena, the two were attempted to be broken up by other Women's superstars on Rage which ended in a brawl between the rest of the Women's roster. On the June 14 episode of Rage, Sari Pasma, Leah and Kelli Kerpa defeated Hiatt, Kaylamarie Cruise and Mikayla Andridge after Hiatt abandoned her partners. The following week, during a match between Cruise and Pasma, Andridge confronted Hiatt, and a brawl broke out also involving Cruise, Quinn, Kerpa and Brenah McAlmond-Quinn, who came out to help Pasma. Rex Martin then scheduled a six-woman gauntlet match for the June 28 episode where the winner would face Hiatt for the World Women's Championship at Addicted to Chaos. Leah dominated the match - eliminating Kerpa, Andridge, Cruise and Quinn, after Victoria Lehr interfered and attacked Quinn, Leah was then eliminated by Pasma after Hiatt struck Leah with the World Women's Championship. After the match, Hiatt attempted to attack Pasma but she attacked Hiatt and posed with the title belt. The following week, Pasma and Leah teamed up to face Hiatt and Cruise and won after Pasma pinned Hiatt.

On the May 17 episode of Rage, Chris Gomez was scheduled to face Jon Rispens as par of the build up to their hardcore heaven rules five-way match at Hardcore Heaven. Rispens did not believe that Gomez would win the Hardcore Heaven Rules match match, nonetheless, defeated WIW World Champion Tyler Mane. Gomez responded, called Rispens a gutless coward, and won their match by disqualification when Cody McDuffie interfered. On the June 7 episode of Rage, Gomez wrestled McDuffie, Rispens music played and distracted Gomez, allowing McDuffie, this made Gomez snapped and attacked McDuffie, injuring him, making his return unknown. The following week, Gomez confronted Rispens, calling him a coward again, and wondered if the reason Rispens cost him his match was due to what Gomez had recently said about him, the confrontation ended up in a brawl between the two. The next week, as Gomez introduced himself as one of the cover stars of the WIW 2K18 video game, he was interrupted by Rispens. Rispens accused Gomez of contradicting the video game's tagline by havin conformed to expectations of the audience. Gomez then attacked Ripsens. On the June 28 episode, Rispens challenged Gomez to a match at Addicted to Chaos, which Gomez accepted before teaming with Kevin McAlmond against Ripsens and Eric Stevens, the match ended in a double countout after all involved brawled through the arena. The following week, Gomez said that he would show the world that Rispens is nothing but a gutless coward for what he's done in the past few weeks. Rispens, cut a promo about Gomez and said that everything that had been happenin gon Rage since he moved to the brand was because of Gomez.
