[edit] Storylines
The card will comprise matches resulting from scripted storylines, with results predetermined by WIW on the Rage and ShowDown brands. Storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and Thursday Night ShowDown.
At SummerBash, Jason Downing defeated Mark Semmler thanks to Downin's wife Tia giving him a pair of brass knuckles that the referee did not see. On the following ShowDown, Jason and Tia mocked Semmler. Semmler and his girlfriend Jessi Beeman came out and confronted them. Semmler called Jason a coward for having to cheat and use his wife to win and said that ShowDown Women's General Manager Stephanie Thennis approved of a mixed tag team match between Semmler and Jessi and Downing and Tia at Hellbound.
At SummerBash during the WIW Heavyweight Championship match between Peter Damrow and defending champion Kevin Hunter, Dalton and Wheat taunted Hunter by disrespecting his family, who were in attendance. An irate Hunter chased and attacked Dalton and Wheat with a steel chair, but before Hunter could return to the ring the referee counted him out, resulting in Damrow winning by countout, but Hunter retaining the WIW Heavyweight Championship, however, Hunter attacked Damrow after the match with the steel chair as well. On the following ShowDown, Damrow, Dalton and Wheat attacked Hunter from behind during an interview, and continued to disrespect Hunter's family. On August 26, a rematch between Hunter and Damrow for the title was scheduled for Hellbound.
On the August 23 episode of ShowDown, The Dooms Day (Steve Britz and Brandon) defeated The Bloodbath Brothers (Reintjes and Truax) in a No Disqualification match to capture their third Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. On August 27, Stephanie Thennis scheduled two triple threat matches, with the winners facing each other to determine who would face The Doomsday Day for the titles at Hellbound. Jeason and Jacob won the first triple threat match by defeating Dustin Simpson and Jesse Dern and The Nuss Brothers (Zack Nuss and Josh Nuss) on the August 30 episode of ShowDown. The PWC (Russell Dalton and Chris Wheat) won the second triple threat match by defeating The Larsons (Steven Larson and Tom Larson) and InSanity's (Christopher Gowan and Kenneth Brown on the September 6 episode of ShowDown, thus setting up Jason and Jacob and Dalton and Wheat facing each other for the September 13 episode of ShowDown.
At SummerBash, Kevin McAlmond successfully retained his Money in the Bank contract against Eric Stevens. Later that evening, during the WIW World Championship match bewteen Matt Borske and Tyler Mane, McAlmond interfered causing a disqualification win for Borske, resulting in Mane retaining the title, McAlmond then attempted to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract, but was attacked by the returning, Mad Hanson, preventing him from cashing in. The following Wednesday on Rage, McAlmond once again attempted to cash-in after Mane successfully defended the title against Chris Gomez, but was stopped by Hason who attacked McAlmond again until the debuting acrtress Sarah Bolger and Kiela McAlmond convinced Kooper McAlmond and Ryan Barnhart to go to the aid of Kevin McAlmond, reforming The Grim Reapers. The following week, Hanson confronted McAlmond and blamed him for his injury, it was also announced that McAlmond, Borske and Stevens would face Mane in a Fatal 4-Way Hell in a Cell match. This would anger Hanson and he would join forces with Michael Fonger and Quay Painter and once again attacked McAlmond during their scheduled tag team match, Kooper McAlmond and Ryan Barnhart would attempt to help, but would get beat down by the trio as well. It was announced on September 5 before Rage that Hanson would be added to the WIW World Championship Hell in a Cell, thus making it a Five-way Hell in a Cell match.
At SummerBash, Sis Bates defeated Brenah McAlmond-Quinn to win the WIW World Women's Championship. On the August 29 episode of Rage, McAlmond-Quinn announced that she would be invoking her championship rematch clause at Hellbound.

At Broken Bodies, after Sullivan lost the United Nations Championship Corbin Edwards, Huntley made his return to the WIW and attacked Sullivan. Four days later on the July 19 episode of ShowDown, Sullivan had a rematch with Edwards, but it ended in a draw after Huntley attacked Sullivan.
