[edit] Background
The card will include matches resulting from scripted storylines and have results predetermined by WIW on the Rage brand, one of WIW's brand divisions. Storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television show Rage.
At World War, Kevin McAlmond co-won the men's World War Rumble match with Corbin Edwards, it would be announced by the Rage General Manager Rex Martin and ShowDown General Manager Turf Finnegan that both would go for their respective brands championship, however due to the controversal outcome of the Rumble match and both would defend their opportunities at their brands next PPV events. The next day, Rage General Manger Rex Martin announced that McAlmond's opportunity would be defended in a Elimination Chamber match and the winner would face Tyler Mane for the WIW World Championship at SuperBrawl X. Five qualification matches were scheduled. The first two will be contested on the January 31 episode of Rage. In the first, Mad Hanson defeated Chris LaGreca in a steel cage last man standing match to qualify; both had competed in the WIW World title match at World War, and LaGreca was taken to a local hospital. In the second qualification match, Damian Lufborough defeated Chris Gomez to qualify. The following week, International Champion Kevin McAlmond defeated Daniel Gonzalez to retain his spot in the match. That same episode, Kooper McAlmond and Eric Stevens qualified by defeating Jon Rispens and Chase Andridge, respectively. The final qualification match was scheduled for the following week in a fatal four-five match between Gomez, Rispens, Gonzalez, James Burdick, and the returning Richard Munoz and Brandon Martin. Gomez pinned Gonzalez and Munoz pinned Rispens both simultaneously, and it was decided that both would be a part of the Elimination Chamber match, marking the first chamber match to feature seven participants. It was also announced that McAlmond would defend the International Championship against Kooper McAlmond, Eric Stevens and the returning Matt Borske in a fatal four way elimination match that was originally scheduled to take place earlier this month, but after an injury sustained to Borske at the hands of Stevens and Evolved Revolution, the match was then rescheduled for the final Rage before Steel Roulette. On February 19 on WIW.com, Rex Martin announced that instead of a Fatal four way elimination match, the International Championship would be defended in a Eight-man Gauntlet match, adding the stipulation: If Borske won the Gauntlet match and the International Championship, he'd be added to the Elimination Chamber match as well, making it a fist-ever Eight-Man Elimination Chamber match, Kooper McAlmond last eliminated Kevin McAlmond to win the International Championship.
On the January 31 episode of Rage, Commissioner Glennda McAlmond told Emily Taflan, who won the inaugural women's World War Rumble match the previous Sunday at World War, to wait until after Steel Roulette to pick which championship to challenge for at SuperBrawl X, as World Women's Champion Brenah McAlmond-Quinn was scheduled to defend her title in the first-ever women's Elimination Chamber match. The following week, General Manager Rex Martin announced that Leah, Jessica Rothe, Victoria Lehr, Sari Pasma and Tina Goyins would be the other competitors in the Elimination Chamber match. On the February 15 episode of Rage, Lehr defeated Pasma when Tessa Smith interfered and Rothe and Leah defeated Goyns and McAlmond-Quinn, when Rothe pinned Goyns.
On the February 7 episode of Rage, Sarah Grobel, Ravyn Scott and Jinger Tripp-Johnson confronted Rage General Manager, Rex Martin about not being added in the Women's Elimination Chamber match, Martin would schedule a Fatal four way elimination match and If Grobel, Scott or Pasma wins the match, they'll be added to the WIW World Women's Championship match at SuperBrawl X making it a triple threat match. On the February 21 episode of Rage, Taflan and Scott defeated Grobel and Tripp-Johnson in a tag team match, after the match Tripp-Johnson attacked the other three.
