Rapture (2012) is an upcoming efed professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Attitude Era Wrestling, which will take place on September 23, 2012 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. It will be the first annual Rapture.

The main feud of Concussion will see Colt Cabana defend the AEW Championship against The Family's leader, Bray Wyatt. During the on coming weeks, Wyatt has turned Candice Michelle against Cabana and had his faction attack Cabana, on August 26 at the Summer of Destiny pay-per-view Wyatt teamed with Damien Sandow to defeat Cabana and Dude Love, when Dude Love turned on Cabana and became another one of his three alter egos Mankind. The next night on Concussion Cabana challenged Wyatt to a AEW Championship match at Rapture, the week after that Wyatt accepted the challenge. On the September 3, episode of Concussion Wyatt would announced that the match would be a Three Stages of Hell match with the AEW Championship being on the line.
Another main feud going on is Randy Orton and AEW Starlets Champion Velvet Sky facing Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis in a Mixed Tag team match for weeks Bennett and Maria have interrupted Orton's matches which caused him to loss. On another episode of Concussion Bennett and Maria would abduct the Starlets Champion Velvet Sky, however on September 3 episode of Concussion Velvet Sky would get freed, And a match with Orton teaming with Velvet Sky and Mike Bennett and Maria would face one another in a Mixed tag team match.
