Redemption (2013) is a efed professional wrestling pay-per-view that is produced by Attitude Era Wrestling. It will be the second annual Redemption pay-per-view, and the first one to be held at the New Orleans Arena.

Background

The main rivalry for Redemption is Bray Wyatt and Cactus Jack in a Buried Alive match, last month at Superclash, Jack beat Wyatt in a Hell in a Cell match, on the July 15, 2013 of Concussion Wyatt challenged Jack to a rematch at Retribution this time in a Buried Alive match.

On the July 15, 2013 episode of Concussion it was announced that James Storm face off against Sterling James Keenan in an Inferno match, Storm and SJK have been at each others throats for a few weeks now. On a episode of Concussion, SJK set Storm on fire, on the July 15, 2013 episode of Concussion Storm was able to choose the stipulation for a match between him and SJK at the PPV, Storm's Choice was an Inferno match. Another match signed for the PPV is Buggy Nova defending the AEW Starlets United States Championship against the former champion, Kelly Kelly. Nova defeated Kelly and Mickie James in a Triple threat match to win the title and ending Kelly Kelly's title reign. On the July 15, 2013 episode of Concussion it was announced that Kelly would be cashing in her rematch clause to face Nova at for the title at Redemption.

On the July 15, 2013 episode of Concussion AEW announced the Summer Series with 10 Superstars fighting for an World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at the 2 Year Anniversary of Concussion, it also announced that the Series would kick off at Redemption with Chris Hero facing Joey Ryan.

Another match announced ont he July 15, 2013 is the Television Champion Kofi Kingston defending against Antonio Cesaro, later on in the night champion Kofi Kingston defeated former Television Champion Ted Dibiase, Jr. in a Two out of Three Falls match to retain the Television Championship and to advance to Henry at the PPV. Another match added to Redemption on the July 15, 2013 episode of Concussion is a match between Damien Sandow and former friend Scott Steiner, the two men have been at on each others toes, it was later announced that Sandow would go one-on-one with Steiner at Redemption.

Another match added to the PPV was added on July 18, 2013 by AEW's offical twitter will be AEW Champion CM Punk and Colt Cabana facing The Shield (Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins). The match was set up after Concussion went off air, and after the beating Punk, Cabana, Maryse, and Heyman all took from The Shield, The Usos, and Samoa Joe.
