Massacre
She initially worked for WWE after success in the first Diva Search contest, since then she has posed for Playboy. During the WWE/DXX re-brand, Maria left the company quietly, however in May 2008 after Courtney went on maternity leave and eventually left the company itself she came back to work. She currently uses a 'Girl-Next Door' type gimmick which has elements of her dippy persona she had used before.
Despite not being an in ring performer since her return Maria is widely regarded as a Diva alongside other Diva workers Charlotte Cross, Sarah Green and Ayanna Kaktus. Maria has limited wrestling experiences from her WWE days.
On 8th August 2008 it was revealed she was in a relationship with Xtreme Steven, the relationship was continued on-screen when they were caught in a sexual encounter after an interview. On 18 August, Maria became concerned after the recent staff changes made by Chris Jericho, whilst she was relieved not to be fired she became involved in an argument with new interviewer Chelsea Korka.
She appeared briefly at DXX Anniversary interrupting Korka's interview with returning Wayne Gallagher.
On the 1st September, Maria took Justin Roberts' role as ring announcer, leaving Chelsea riled by Jerichos' decision, leading to yet another catfight. Jericho then announced at the start of the show, both ladies would compete for their job. The following week, Maria vowed to beat Chelsea when over hearing her bad mouthing alongside Leila. Despite fan support and a better wrestling knowledge, Chelsea used the brass knuckles to pick up the victory , therefore leaving Maria out of a job.
Much to her suprise a week later, she returned as Massacre's ring announcer following the departure of Justin Roberts. It was also teased that Maria may be heading into the ring later on in the month on a more frequent basis.
