2KW Just Another Night (2008) was a backyard wrestling supershow event produced by 2KW. The event took place in June 2008 at NES Park in Manhattan, New York and started broadcasting over YouTube on July 26. As their grand event, it was their first annual exclusive free-per-view, which occurs during June.

The event featured nine official wrestling matches and three bonus contests. Applying to backyard wrestling, where in relationship to professional wrestling, the performers portray heels and faces as matches are booked and scripted in advance with pre-determined outcomes. In noting, 2KW also has a sense of realism on-screen as an extreme sports shoot wrestling practice.
The primary contest headlining Just Another Night was between Great Styles and William Black competing for the 2KW World Championship.
Event
Undercard matches
The event began with an introduction to a capacity park crowd. The first contest was a 6-Man Elimination Tag match between Rico Hernandez, The Beast, Crazy Ace, Kamakazi, Matt Vengeance and Pyro to crown the first ever 2KW Junior Heavyweight Champion. The match began with an all-out confrontation and was a fast-paced athletic showcase with The Burning Renegades (Pyro and Vengeance) controlling the early going. Kamikaze would have a strong showing in the match. After officially beginning with The Burning Renegades wrestling Ace, Vengeance took his spot on tag-timeout leaving Pyro and Ace to physically confront. Kamikazi blind tags Ace and competes with Pyro, until he tags his partner Vengeance in. Tags pass from Vengeance to Beast, Kamikazi to Hernandez, and Beast back to Pyro each having their period in the equation. Pyro and Vengeance continue their tag domination eliminating Hernandez following a double team Senton Splash. Later, Kamakazi pins both Vengeance and Ace on being speared by Beast. Pyro and Kamakazi become a short-term pair leading to the elimination of Beast after methodical and athletic execution. Pyro and Kamikazi, the remaining two competitors, counterbattle taking the fight up to the playground. Subsequently, Kamikaze performs a standing spiral driver, resulting in a pinfall victory to prevail the winner.[1]
Other on-screen talent Role: Name: Commentators I.P Freely Jamal Jackson Up next was a 2KW European Championship match between biological brothers with a fraternal dispute, Joey Demonico and Mike Demonico. After Joey flaunts his title in the face of Mike, the match incepts with a reciprocating brawl, where Joey eventually gets the edge after a Sidewalk slam before up a near pinfall attempt. Both brothers engaged in an athletic and physical match trying to afflict each other with Joey in a remarkable highlight, leaping off a 15 feet high park ledge. The end result emerged when Joey scored with an spinning hellacious powerbomb to retain his championship.[2]
Joe Bullrog (C-4) puts his 2KW Television Championship on the line against Fat Nasty Bastard. Both tenaciously lock horns to begin the championship contest quickly turning into technical showing in favor of Bullrog's technical background. Not to be out-performed since he wrestles a pound-for-pound nature, FNB manages to stay up to par using both to his ability. They equally take turns mutually dominating throughout the park area including atop the park ground. FNB even goes outside his element with athletic tactics. Competition comes between them pertaining to punches. Bullrog attempts to spear FNB but gets the referee rendering him unconscious before grabbing a steel chair and blasting FNB, who is not fazed and punches it in his face on second try. The referee later recovers with FNB about to use the chair but the referee disposesses him of it leading to Bullrog using the distraction while the referee puts away the chair to hit FNB with his title belt and pick up victory after a pinfall. Bullrog also stomps FNB after the match.[3]
V.i.P leaps off park pole onto Dubb C.
In a Grudge match, V.i.P waged war with Brandon Lewis not even allowing him to switch into gear. Blow for blow in an all-out brawl in the outset, tables had not switches as none received the advantage. They get into a test of strength locking up which turns into a battle of technicality. Following a spin kick to head, it was apparent that V.i.P was injured which Lewis capitalized on including V.i.P's arm also stained when used to slam Lewis down in a maneuver. Dubb C also distracted allowing Lewis to recover but is taken out with a flying knee by V.i.P. After a Head Scissor takedown by V.i.P the referee is hit. Moreover, Dubb C revives fully involving in the match to assist Lewis. After assaulted and placed on a table, and V.i.P fends off Lewis, he climbs to the top of a park pole and launches off through the table with Dubb C. Subsequently, Lewis tries to capture the match but the referee is still out. After a Reverse lifting neck driver, the referee comes around to counting V.i.P's pinfall.[4]
The fixth match was between A-List (Anthony Silva and Damien Sage) and Beyond Belief (Kid Carnage and Ray Sexy), who rushed into competition by attacking A-List. For the brief beginning, they take helm of the drivers seat until the mutual non-stop athletic fight for victory starts spilling around the park as thumbtacks are introduced with Silva and Carnage put to harm in it. Sexy later executed The Sex Symbol and reaped victory for Beyond Belief. [5]
Statik returned from hiatus and extended a prior challenge to meet SyNN in a one-on-one contest at this event. After a lock up, Statik proceeds to exert his agility to ware down SyNN and with kicks to the leg. The slower, methodical and technical SyNN would calm his role, picking his spots carefully and inflicting damage. But Statik kept in the game getting hurt in the process even trying to fight off SyNN's accompany and girlfriend ToXXSyNN when she intervenes. They take the match all-round including near a washroom adjacent to the park, where Saylo charges out and ambushes SyNN opportuning Statik to eventually score an Inverted Lungblower. Saylo helps Statik with the pinfall by holding SyNN's leg up for the win.[6]
Before the contest began with Grifter and Scorpion battling C-Red and Hollywood in a Tag Team match, Grifter conducted match introductions, and in the process, insulted his counterparts which fuelled backlash from Hollywood who took early offense against Scorpion before tagging in C-Red. Scorpion shortly got control and made a tag, a move that turned the tide again when C-Red got momentum over Grifter. C-Red tagged back in Hollywood and continued to punish Grifter until Grifter takes over working on the leg of Hollywood. The bout took all-out location up on the playground and back down to the floor. After trying to work on C-Red's leg unsuccessfully, briefly after C-Red landed a superkick to Grifter in the end to pick up the win for his team.
Main event matches
In the penultimate match of the event, Jamal Jackson proclaimed the absence of his partner G-Murda and authorized by Divided World Entertainment, he chose a new one in C-4, who previously wrestled earlier. They then proceed to compete against Zoltan in a Tag Team Title Unification match with Zoltan holding the NEW Tag Team Championship and Jamal Jackson representing one half of the 2KW Tag Team Champions. Without introdution, C-4 and Jackson jump on the onslaught, dominating initially. The match soon became an athletic and physical hard fought slam-bang confrontation with both teams fighting for unified gold. In the end, C-4 inadvertently spears Jackson after Kage leaps, receives a stunner by Whiplash, followed closely by a superkick by Kage and climaxing with their patented tag team finisher and a double bench leg drop for Whiplash to reap the pinfall.
The main event was between William Black and Great Styles for the 2KW World Championship. Prior to the match, Raze emerged and was announced the special referee by Jamal Jackson. Styles and Black begin locking horns followed by series of counters. They go on to trade physical offense until Black attempts a Big Boot that is avoided by Styles who instantly connects with the GKO and pins Black for the win. During the aftermath, Styles celebrated and left while Black, Grifter, and SyNN come together to attack Raze for his officiating trying to put Raze out with a leg injury, displaying much of their frustrations.

A week following Just Another Night, The Elite (Grifter and William Black) announce their complete misfortune at the event, showing their emotional wounds. Black incensed over his loss to Great Styles in a 2KW World Title match blaming Raze, is taken aback by his exclusion when Grifter proclaims Styles will defend his title in the show's proceedings but rather against C-4 telling Black the reasoning is due to "new people", who Black arrogantly disregards and re-asserts himself leading to Grifter declaring his departure from the group. Grifter and Black later faced off against each other in a match with the distraction of Scorpion, gave Grifter the win. Black continued to brag that about being a 5-time 2KW Champion and that his early time in 2KW made for its success before agreeing to a challenge by Zoltan pitched to him and Grifter.
Reception
The event was a summer hit approximately averaging 100 attendees setting an attendance record for 2KW for a show taking place in a park area. Most of the matches also received 5 star ratings on YouTube.
