Chapter III

Legend of the Infinite Empire 3:

“What?!?” Plumber said the shock in the tone of voice. Isyou nodded “You heard me I can help”
SPL sneered, “What do you have in mind?”
Isyou smiled, “So now we’re on talking terms.” He continued, “The Prince of Darkness wants me to capture you, I can pretend to do so…and then we will crush him.” Mario97 shook his head, “I don’t trust him.”
Aipom place his hand on the ground, “He’s telling the truth, I can feel his heart pulse through the ground.”
Yoshi626 nodded, “I trust him.”
GBB nodded, “No one would lie to me.”
Isyou nodded, “Then you will come with me?” Plumber took a deep breath and hesitantly replied, “Not yet, we must unite the Sysops.” Isyou shook his head, “It has to happen now!”
Yoshi626 said “I heard only the Great Sysops can defeat him…”
Isyou shook his head, “No, no that’s just an easy way.”
Plumber frowned, “Let’s do this then.”

A spy hid in the trees watching the entire conversation, the spy pressed a button on his watch, “Master, the pieces are moving into place.” The spy jumped from the tree making no noise at all, the spy smiled, “Foolish Isyou.”

Drybones and Ultimatetoad had traveled a very long distance from one place to another trying to find the heroes Drybones spoke so highly of. They had found clues such as from the ghost Big Tom at the Boo Manor. And two young kids had seen them walking by. But seemingly every lead had a dead end. But Drybones would not give up, he pressed forward every time they crossed a dead-end. Drybones smiled and turned to Ultimatetoad. “We found ‘them” Dry bones said.

SPL had set up a tent he laid in his sleeping bag. He could here quite a commotion outside. He got to his feet and walked outside, there Drybones stood his arms folded, “Ah SPL you’ve finally come out” Commented Drybones. SPL jumped to guard himself he pulled out his Bat and charged at Drybones. “STOP!!” shouted Plumber.
SPL dropped his bat, “What’s he doing here?’ asked SPL
Plumber smiled, “Our little group is expanding, SPL meet Drybones-Drybones Meet SPL.”
Ultimatetoad smiled, “So you must be SPL.”
SPL nodded, “yep.”
“I’m Ultimatetoad” Ultimatetoad introduced.
SPL nodded.

The asteroid was crisp from its descent from space, the capsule opened up. And the alien appeared the metal squid like creature appeared. The squad moved through the valley…It squirmed up the hill and watched, SPL and DB talking. He studied their movements. He smiled. “So it has begun”.

Beanbean was tired, he was sick, he was angry. Beanbean’s friend, 3dejong was talking so fast his head was hurting. 3dejong was hyper as usual, Beanbean had enough, “Be quiet!”
3dejong frowned, “pioykuoltr97” “What?!?” Beanbean asked
3d nodded “you heard me, kfkhsfihkltjklyt”
Beanbean pulled out his hammer and gave 3d a good whack. 3d smiled, and pulled out his own hammer and whacked Beanbean. The two joined in laughter together. 3d sighed and turned toward his green friend. “Have you ever wondered if there are aliens out there?” 3dejong asked changing the subject
“Huh?” Beanbean asked. “You heard me are there aliens out there?” 3d replied. Beanbean shook his head; “OF COURSE!” he replied
The two joined in laughter once again. The two friends continued their pointless jabbering till the sun went down and came back up.

Yoshifan was cuddled up in his blue blanket; the winter storm had been harsh. The Fahr Outpost was still recovering it was normally cold…but it had never been this cold before. The Yoshi Commander stood to his feet and put on his battle suit. He walked outside feeling the cold snow sprinkle down; he sighed and continued to walk forward. He opened the door to the hanger bay, his squad mates were there waiting for him. The first to greet him was Parayoshi, a Winged Blue Yoshi a.k.a. PY and Yellowyoshi398 a Yellow Yoshi. The trio of Yoshis was the toughest and most capable team of commandos the Shroom Army had to offer. Yoshifan was the leader of the Group, but YellowYoshi turned down many job offers to command his own squad. PY was very skilled he too had turned down jobs to have his own squad. The trio of Yoshis jumped into a conversation. The hanger door opened, Wayoshi stood there. Wayoshi was Commander of the ‘Shroom Army behind only the founder himself, Porplemontage. Wayoshi smiled, “Fellow Yoshis and members of the ‘Shroom Army,” it was his typical greeting. He continued, “We have located the location of the pod, the pod was reported to have fallen from the sky. Thousands other followed. The pods rained down upon Riverside Station, the station was destroyed. And all Excess Express rides to and from Poshley Heights has been canceled. Our intelligence is suspicious that now there is now way beside a flight to get to Poshley Heights.”
Yoshifan nodded, his arms were crossed and his helmet was set on the seat next to him, “Sir, I believe that these aliens are after something in Poshley Heights.”
Wayoshi nodded and began to think, “Dark Insanity…” said Wayoshi
The trio of Yoshis exchanged looks, “Who’s this Dark Insanity?” asked PY
Wayoshi hesitated and then spoke, “Dark Insanity is a Sysop…”
YY398 was shocked, “I heard the Sysops were a myth.”
Wayoshi shook his head, “I’m a sysop”
PY stood to his feet, “What?!?”
Wayoshi nodded, “You heard me.”
“Prove it” said YY.
Wayoshi nodded and held his hand up hid fingers pointing a YY helmet, suddenly lightning burst out, striking the helmet and knocking into the wall. The trios of Yoshis showed shocked expressions, they all exchanged looks. “We’re in” Yoshifan said.

Plumber and his group were dressed in shackles, Isyou followed closely behind them. The Team labeled, “Forces of Light”, entered into the Creepy Steeple. Isyou shouted, “I have the prisoners!”
The words echoed down the narrow hallway, Isyou scratched his faced. And Isyou shouted again, “I have the prisoners!” The words echoed down the halls once again but no reply came back. When suddenly the lights flickered to life The ‘’Forces of Light’’ found itself surrounded by Koopa Troopas. A Shady Koopa smiled, “Isyou, you traitor, you shall die!”
The scene exploded into action. The ‘’Forces of Light’’ formed a circle and began fighting of the Koopa force. Plumber pulled out his baseball bat and smacked A Koopa into the Koopa behind him. While SPL pulled out his blue and red bat, he swung it hammering a Koopa in jaw. He then turned around and smacked another Koopa. Max2 shouted sending shockwaves through the air, hitting three Koopas. Mario97 had his beam sword drawn he lashed forward slicing a Koopa across the chest; he ducked beneath the arm of Koopa who tried to punch him. Mario97 slashed his at the knees the Koopa crumpled. Drybones unleashed a blast of fire burning four Koopas. Ultimatetoad unleashed sonic energy snatching two Koopas out of the air, and burning them. Yoshi626 flew around slashing and trashing fifteen Koopas. GBB bite into two Koopas, they fell to the ground. Isyou launched a flurry of attacks slashing two Koopas at the arms. While Aipom bounce around and unleashed a wave of kinetic energy at three Koopas. The entire Koopa Force was on the ground moaning. Isyou slid open a door. Behind the door shadow forms of each member of the ‘’Forces of Light’’. Each Shadow Form lashed out and attacked their light counter parts. Mario97 stood no shadow form of him. Isyou cried out, “Go Mario97, behind that door is the Prince of darkness!” he pointed toward a heavy set door.
Mario97 nodded and marched toward the door. He opened it with the gentlest of a touch; the room was dark and empty. He walked inside, the door shut behind him, then he saw a Black Form he could barely make out. The Shadow burst to life, igniting itself on fire. The creature cried out, “Foolish Mortal, how dare you challenge ‘’Fire Fang’’ guardian of the Shadow Prince!”
The creature unleashed a blaze of fire, burn Mario97. Mario97 cried in pain. He fell to his knees; the creature lifted his arms up and came down crushing 97. Fire Fang lifted his arm; no trace of Mario97 was seen.

The Day turned to Dawn, Yoshifan sat there his airplane was seventeen minutes away from Poshley Heights. The plane rumbled the flight was long but much faster than traveling by train. The pilot shouted over the comlink, “We’re here prepare to Parachute out in five minutes.”
The back hatch opened up, Yoshifan was always the first to launch out, and he watched as what used to be a great city laid in ruins. The pods defiantly held some sort of creatures. He could see them. The cover of night fall would give them the best camouflage a Yoshi could ask for. The Trio of Yoshis or better known as “Omega Squad” parachuted out, breathing in the fresh air, the smell of ash and fire. Omega Squad landed, they were as quiet as a mouse. They walked the streets; the carnage had stopped the city still burned. The alien creatures had gathered in a circle, they began chanting something. The language was unknown to Yoshifan. The chanting got louder and louder, suddenly a black portal opened up, a Dark Dragon emerged, The Dragon was huge, then dragon cried out, its cry piercing. The Dragon flew of into the sky. The aliens, finished with their chanting turned, they spotted Omega Squad. The leader of the aliens cried out in their native language. The large squid-like aliens launched acid from their tentacles. The acid missed their target. “RUN!” shouted Yoshifan.
The squad ran, they ran toward their drop off point. Yoshifan shouted into his comlink, “Pilot Kooper, requesting immediate pickup, at rendezvous point zero.” No response came back. “Repeat, requesting immediate pickup!” the comm showed dead silence. Yoshifan and the rest of Omega Squad turned around and opened fire. The first alien crashed down with a wet thump. They concentrated fire on the next alien. That alien fell down grievously injured. Omega Squads’ machine gun fire power easily pierced the aliens’ armor. Omega Squad looked around, they were surrounded. When the drop ship swooped down, Omega Squad leaped aboard. They were out of the battlefield…for now…

3d and Beanbean strolled back toward their apartment; they were shocked to see a metal, squid-like alien waiting for them. The alien’s voice hallow, “Hello, 3d, Beanbean…I am Gofer. The fate of the world is in our hands”…
