Vellin Elion is a is a black and gray cat from Mobius and the younger brother of Slike F. Elion. Although he is young, only 8 years old, he has a bit of a bad streak, but rarely shows it around most of his family (sans Slike). His mother, in fact, thinks he's a perfect angel. He is also said to be a ridiculously cute kitten, which he sometimes uses to get what he wants. He almost always annoys Slike, but the two sometimes manage to work together, and have the normal love/hate brother relationship.

History
A Younger Brother
Vellin was born about the time Slike was 12. Slike had been a somewhat disorderly child, and their parents took a liking to their new son, who over time seemed to be the much better behaved of the two. After about 5 years, Slike moved out, but every so often Vellin was sent over to Slike to visit (as Slike's parents had no idea of his evil tenancies). During these visits, Slike and Vellin would often argue, sometimes Vellin would get in Slike's way, and sometimes Slike would lock Vellin in the closet. They would get along on occasion, but only rarely.
All the while, however, Vellin was not the perfect child, and was merely staging an act for the most part. Prior to Slike moving out, they would often get in fights, of which Slike would be blamed for it. Although Vellin always seemed nice and polite around everyone else, it was all an act so that they would see him as good. When some horrid news came along, this would all change when Vellin disappeared...
On the Run
Hearing that his brother, Slike, had been imprisoned, Vellin decided to take things into his own hands. Havin read Slike's journal (and all of his "lost adventures"), Vellin knew where his secret, remaining vehicle was, and drove it off to the base Slike was imprisoned at. (How he knew about it was probably due from Slike's journal as well.) Vellin burst in and attacked all the soldiers there, cloaked to conceal his identity, and busted Slike out of jail, then revealed himself to him. Instead of dropping Vellin off, however, Slike kept Vellin with him so he wouldn't reveal anything about his location, and went off to find any open portals on Mobius. He found one, which brought him to the dimension of the Sol Emeralds, and located Blaze the Cat. Slike convinced her that a great evil was coming, and that she needed to collect the Sol Emeralds, which Slike could use to combat this evil. As Blaze went to find them, Slike began building a giant, robotic version of the dragon Trogdor titled Robo-Trogdor.
Vellin, meanwhile, alerted Blaze whenever a Sol Emerald was located, and she went off to find it. However, it was then that Vellin saw Whirl, Slike's archenemy, on the island with the final Sol Emerald. Vellin went to Slike, who told him to tell Blaze that Whirl was the great evil, and she went to take a Sol Emerald Whirl had found. During the fight, Whirl dropped the Sol Emerald and Vellin nabbed it, then ran up to Slike. With the final emerald, Robo-Trogdor was activated. Slike began attacking the island while the others escaped, and the next day Whirl returned with a similar robot, The S is for Sucksbot. The two fought until Slike was finally able to destroy The S is for Sucksbot.
The win wouldn't last long, though, as a sudden thunderbolt struck Robo-Trogdor, destroying it. Vellin ran to Slike to find him in the center of a charrged landscape, but still alive. When Slike came to, it was found that all his fur had been burnt off. Enraged, he tried to attack Whirl, but realized it wasn't worth it, took Vellin, and escaped. Although it's unknown where the two went, it's known that Slike told Vellin he died in Robo-Trogdor's destruction, and that he has "friends... in a very, very, very low place..." He then activated a massive engine, and the Slikar blasted ahead to the unknown.
Personal Information
Personality
Vellin is a mean-spirited child who is generally more of a nuisance than an actual threat, but can be an asset to Slike when he wants to be and can be an annoyance enough to cause problems. He is a great actor, though, and can seem perfectly nice and harmless when he wants to. His true tenancies, however, are those of badness.
Appearance
Vellin is about half to three quarters the size of a regularly sized Sonic character, with gray and black striped fur and red sneakers. He appears as an innocent, young child, and his eyes are bigger than usual. He's been said to be "the world's cutest kitten" although this would count as Mobius' cutest kitten should the claim be true.
Abilities
Vellin is too young for his claws to have really developed yet, and so he is lacking on the physical attacking side of things. He can sprint fairly quickly, however, and has the abilities of a good actor, shown by how most of his family believe him to be nice and pleasant.
Family
Vellin's older brother is Slike. Vellin's mother and most of their family believe Vellin to be a perfect angel (as opposed to Slike, who is an imperfect clod), which is entirely untrue. No information on his father has been given.
Interactions with Other Characters
Slike

As Vellin's older brother, the two share a sort of brotherly bond, brotherly rivalry, and brotherly other things. Vellin typically enjoys annoying Slike, poking fun at his failures and claiming Slike got none of the good looks in the family. Slike generally retaliates by tossing him in a clothes hamper. Vellin does look up to Slike somewhat, however, and broke him out of jail when Slike was imprisoned. Vellin and Slike will work together on a plan if the situation calls for it, but Vellin still can't resist poking fun at Slike.

- The idea for Vellin partially came from Nermal of the Garfield series (as "the world's cutest kitten").
